Das Vista Canyon Inn liegt, wie der Name sagt, direkt am Rande eines Canyons, von denen es in Costa Rica einige gibt. Man sieht also vom Schwimmbad oder der offenen Lobby aus direkt in die Felsschlucht hinunter. Der Garten ist wunderbar begrünt und mit vielen besonderen Pflanzen ausgestattet. Es gibt eine beschränkte Anzahl an Parklätzen. Die Zimmer sind mit allem nötigen ausgestattet, mit Dusche, Aircon, Kühlschrank, aber eher einfach. Zum Frühstück gibt es frische Früchte, Saft, ein selbst gebackenes Brötchen und typische Gallo Pinto (Kartoffeln, Reis, Huhn und Gemüse im Bananenblatt). Dies ist ein familiärer Betrieb, die Leitung spricht perfekt Englisch. Für die Verhältnisse in Costa Rica, das teils sehr teuer ist, wird hier eine gute Preis-Leistung geboten.

Breakfasts were excellent, friendly staff, (Paola) feels a great deal like home. Wonderful choice if coming to Costa Rica for tourism, dental work, or business. WiFi is good. Great housekeeping and help with booking tours and drivers. (Ezekiel) I am planning on a return trip. Poas Volcano is a great day trip.

Our room was somewhat noisy due to the air conditioning unit in the adjacent house. But it was not disturbing. Delicious breakfast, the best we've had in Costa Rica. The morning bird concert was a delightful addition. The bar is impressively stocked; we've never seen such a variety before.The tranquil ambiance of the swimming pool set the stage for ultimate relaxation, but the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the jacuzzi pool. It proved to be the perfect antidote for the weariness preceding a long flight back home.

Had a wonderful time with my wife here. The room we had was one of the more spacious units (although they do vary quite a bit) . The staff was accommodating especially Paola and Dave. We actually had some of our wedding party stay here, and I am glad we recommended it to them. The hospitality is embodied the Pura Vida lifestyle. The location is perfectly situated outside the city so you can rest assured it is safe and convenient. You will definitely still need a car as the area is not very walkable, but not to worry. There is parking on site. This is a perfect option for those looking for the amenities of the hotel, but the hospitality of a BnB. Thank you to all the staff there!

A family owned boutique inn that far exceeded our expectations. We stayed 2 weeks and we will definitely be back. The owners and staff are amazing and go above and beyond. Location is great to get into San Jose and also if you want to take a drive to the Pacific Coast.

Small boutique-like inn, located in a neighborhood. The staff were wonderful, breakfast very good. Pool is small, water warm. Rooms are nothing fancy, air conditioning units are noisy so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Owner lives on the property, not super engaging, just wants to play retired. 😊. Paola was very helpful, a gem of an employee. Outdoor seating is nice, overall a nice stay.

I booked at Vista Canyon at the request of my dentist. I was not disappointed. Great staff very friendly and accommodating. They made sure I got to all my appointments they supplied ride to and from. The included breakfast was great with a local flare. The room was spacious and the property was very tranquil with a great view of canyon. Would definitely stay there again

Everything nice all the other reviews say..Times two!! Good Tipico restaurants at bottom of hill, walking distance. Yummy breakfast...Top shelf liquor available in common lounge area on honor system says it all!!! Very homey,friendly owners...great staff!! Mike Jax Bch FL Niki Brighton UK
