We are two women in our late 60's and early 70's, we were checked in after 3. We took the elevator then had to go up 6 or 7 stairs lugging our luggage. We get in our room and it was the size of a closet. I called front desk, I was ready to move hotels. We were moved to bigger room, didn't realize the smell wasn't from room not being used, it smelled like sewer gas. The staff came and smelled the room the next day and said they would give us a new room. This one was acceptable. It looked out at train station and ferris wheel. I asked the evening desk clerk a question about catching a train next day. He was very helpful and told me to stop with my info in morning so he could look at it. When I went down this morning, I was met by a young lady with dark hair and a man, Oliver, I told him I was told to stop by desk. He told me, the train station is over there, go ask them. I found most staff friendly, but Oliver rude. Also, the fact that we had to move rooms 3 times. I don't know that I would stay again.

Pillows are amazing, Wi-Fi really good and staff are one of the nicest I’ve ever met. This centrally located boutique hotel is perfect for business travel, but I’d definitely return for a leisure break. My work schedule changed and to say the team were accommodating is an understatement. In my limited free time I managed to see the central shopping area and visit the very close by old town (highly recommend ). My only ****** is that the menu for just a light snack is fairly limited. As a solo guest, I felt very secure. But for me this hotel was a solid 9/10

After traveling through Amsterdam, north of France, 3 cities in Belgium and being disappointed with almost every hotel, our stay at this hotel was finally superb. Clean, friendly staff, centrally located in Antwerp, and the view of Central station during the day and night was just stunning. Upon arrival I requested view to Central Station and the attendant wasted no time to grant the request. All we had to do was join the hotel’s rewards program, which we did without hesitation, and my wish was granted. Our room was upgraded at no cost and we were not disappointed. Ground public parking conveniently located under hotel. Plenty of restaurants around. Chocolate Nation Museum literally 10 steps away. The room was big and comfortable. Bathroom too. Great blow drier lol. Toiletries provided including toothbrush, comb, bath salts…. We were truly impressed. Highly recommended if you’re on leisure or a business trip.

The history of Castle Solhof dates back to 1414 and at one time it was surrounded by moat and castle walls, the moat and turrets of the castle still survive today. Now a hotel the present owners bought the Castle in 1990. The entrance and cobbled courtyard are very impressive, with an ornate fountain / pond and neatly pruned hedges. At check-in the receptionist did not seem at all bothered about Covid and said I should remove my mask as it was not needed, even though I had just arrived from the UK and driven through France! I had a Superior Twin Room (#19) with two large beds. The room was nicely furnished, with maybe a table too many, and I loved the tall windows over looking the front courtyard. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for its free courtyard parking and I could see my car safely from my room. I had no meal plan at the hotel so I can't comment on that. My room was very warm and I couldn't see how to control the heating, so I opened both windows! The bed was comfortable and the room clean, but I do hate a shower in a bath with a clingy shower curtain. My room was €99 booked via Expedia.

The hotel in conveniently located just across from the train station and although the rooms are small, they are nicely decorated. I would give this hotel 5 out of 5, BUT I had to pay to store my luggage and honestly it was the first time I was charged for this. I don’t recommend staying here if you are traveling with a lot of luggage. My room also wasn’t cleaned once during my stay, but that’s ok.

Came by the other day and it was a decent experience, although with some bizarre quirks. Booked direct for the ”Executive Family Studio with Kitchen” and the front desk agent printed out a contract with a ”Deluxe Studio.” When I inquired about the difference, another employee quickly chimed in that I ”got upgraded” and my original room had no kitchen?!? As the ”Executive Studio with Kitchen” has kitchen in the name, I inquired a second time, and the employee raised her voice saying that the room was the same?!? A 3rd employee eventually came in, after reviewing their own website, and started talking about the Penthouse suite (completely irrelevant?!?). Attempted to use the laundry room located behind the secure door using my keycard and had to answer 21 questions to the front desk agent with my room number, my full name, and the company I was representing (all with a load of dirty laundry in my arms), which was completely bizarre. At 7 am, the agent claimed that someone on my floor booked a taxi?!? (also completely irrelevant?!?) The studio itself was pretty spacious, although with some quicks. For example, the bathroom was dated, unlike the pictures on the website. More importantly, it was bizarre to have a handheld shower installed on the long side of the bathtub, vs the short side?!? ...also might have been helpful to use a curved shower curtain to make showering less claustrophobic... Water pressure was usable although the shower curtain had a strange smell... Highlights of the studio included the comfortable bed, although slightly lumpy in areas, with quality sheets and towels. The kitchen itself was modern and fully stocked, including 2 bottles of water in the kitchen. The ”welcome gift” appeared to be the 2 dishwashing tablets and manual dishwashing liquid... Booking direct, the confirmation indicated that there would be a ”welcome drink upon arrival” Perhaps the 2 bottles of water in the fridge was it?!? Other anomalies included super dark lighting at night. The lighting was insufficient in the dining area, which made it quite dark to work and read in. There was a freestanding light that helped provide additional lighting in the sleeping area. It was also odd to see that the room number listed on my in room telephone was different from the one on my door?!? The laundry room was complimentary and fantastic! There was also complimentary laundry detergent. A wash takes 2-3 hours and a dry takes 1+ hour. The signage against the wall with instructions on how to use the washing machine didn't match the actual washing machine which was confusing at best...

Discovered this brand new hotel near the Central Station. The hotel is intended for longer stays, although I only stayed 1 night. The rooms are studio apartments with kitchenette. My room had a Murphy bed (first time for me) and it was super comfy. The hotel also has really nice gym equipment and I was able to do an interval training on the hi-tech treadmill. For a new hotel, the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. If staying in Antwerp again, I would definitely stay here.

a very pleasant and well situated hotel. obliging staff ensured an enjoyable visit. a well appointed room that was clean, together with a bathroom that complemented. this is mmy second visit and i have no qualms about recommending it.

This is a really a nice four star’s standard hotel with good breakfast and excellent service from the check in front desk, just 2 minutes walking distance from Antwerp central station. This area is easier for any tourist visiting the city centre of Antwerp and even the China town is nearby. If you have to travel from there to France or Netherlands or Germany, there are a good railway connection every 1-2 hours. Really suitable for backpackers or some relaxing plan holidays

Wij hebben een nacht geboekt. Locatie was goed. Heel mooi hotel, schone moderne kamer met mooi uitzicht. Zwembad/Sauna faciliteiten zoals handdoek enz waren goed. Parkeer was gratis. Wij komen zeker terug. Tip(minpunt): soms is het handig om ook in de winter een ventilator te hebben voor gasten die gebruik van willen maken. Het was net iets te warm op de kamer terwijk de airco op 18 stond.
