We stayed in rooms 1301 and 1302, both king-size bed rooms with what I believe are among the best views in the entire resort. Waking up to the dramatic karst landscape and tranquil surroundings was unforgettable, and the rooms themselves were spacious, elegant, and perfectly maintained. The dining experience was outstanding, both at breakfast and dinner. Breakfast featured a high-quality buffet with premium ingredients and a wide variety of options, while dinner from the à la carte menu was equally impressive in execution and flavor. Special recognition must go to the service staff—凌海艳、农汶燕、邓桂姣—whose attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism elevated every meal. Their service was genuinely memorable. On our first evening, Chef Long (龙大厨) personally came out to greet us, which was a wonderful and thoughtful touch. One dish in particular stood out: the handmade tofu pot. Using such a simple ingredient, the dish was surprisingly delicate, tender, and deeply flavorful—an excellent example of how great technique can transform humble ingredients into something exceptional. The spa and relaxation experience was equally seamless. 农丽芳, from the spa service team near the common relaxation area, thoughtfully arranged a battery car service for us, making transitions around the resort smooth and effortless. Overall, the LUX Chongzuo Resort delivers excellence on every level—accommodation, views, cuisine, service, and amenities. It is not just a place to stay, but a destination in itself. If you are seeking the best Chongzuo has to offer, LUX is truly in a class of its own.

We had a lovely stay at Mingshi Yaju Hotel. The hotel staff were kind and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was tasty and there was enough variety to choose from. The room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The amenities inside were great too. We made use of the gym and the pool. During our second day, the hotel let us use their bicycles to explore around Mingshi. Overall the experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Unfortunately there was a little bit of construction happening nearby, but it didn’t generate too much noise and in the evening everything was quiet and peaceful. For dinner was chose not to eat at the hotel, but rather to explore the restaurants around just outside of the park area. I had a great time and would recommend to friends.

我們訂的7樓親子房，加大露台，房間裝修很有格調，傢俱都是實木的，每天都有人打掃衞生。老闆兩口子態度很好。老闆做菜超級好吃，我們住了兩天，兩頓晚餐和一頓午餐都是在民宿吃的，百香果排骨點了三次。。另外點了龍鬚菜，炒菜心，西芹炒牛肉，豆腐魚湯，竹筒肉，烤魚，每一樣都好吃！周邊景點很多，時間問題我們衹去了德天大瀑布，拍了很多漂亮的照片。如果有機會再來大新，還會選擇住在這裏。

1. Amazing hospitality. The hotel owner, Shaowei was there to help us in every possible way. She brought us to see the panoramic view of Mingshi Tianyuan with her own expenses. She also took us to another place to watch native people’s dance, sing and bonfire after dinner. She also helped me to catch a local bus to another town. Her kindness was simply beyond my expectations. If I come back to Mingshi, the reason will be not the town itself, but Shaowei. 2. Flawless cleanness Everything looked to be built just now. Clean, comfortable and tidy. No smell of cigarette or whatsoever. 3. Decent breakfast Breakfast is simple but the taste is good. You can enjoy rice noodle, rice porridge and fruits with good tea and soy milk. 4. Great location The hotel is located close to the bus station and you can get on any local bus passing by easily. Good restaurants are everywhere nearby as well. Thank you so much for all the help and care. I really wish to meet you again.

The room is clean, but the room has issues such as clogged drainage, low water pressure, insufficient hot water to fill the bath. What could be resolved was fixed quickly by the owner, who is friendly, kind and patient. I am not a fan of disposable towels, but these were provided, as was water and hot water for tea. There were also local fruit in the lobby. The hot tub is in a more private area, not in the sleeping section of the room. This is a layout I prefer, but I feel it still requires a privacy curtain. Some travellers, after all, are just friends. The elevator is good and very quiet. The lady (the owner's friend) at the nearby eating place to the right when you are facing the river, with a red breakfast sign along the road selling steamed buns in front of her shop, is also a fount of knowledge.

The location is good. Just 300 metres to the official Mingshi scenic area and the Tourist Centre. There are shuttle buses at the Tourist Centre to Detian Waterfall every day at 8.30 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm at 15 Yuan per person. There are also return shuttle buses from Detian Waterfall to Mingshi. Staying at Kongshan Xiaozhu, we can enter the official Mingshi scenic area for the 8pm night performance by showing the card given to us by the boss. Travelling to Kongshan Xiaozhu is very convenient by coach from Nanning Xixiangtang Bus Station. The driver will drop you at the roadside just 1 min walk to Kongshan Xiaozhu. Return to Nanning is also the same. The driver will pick you up at the roadside.

Sebuah hotel yang sangat selesa, bersih dan kemas, dengan bilik-bilik yang luas. Perkhidmatan kaunter penerimaan tetamu sangat prihatin. Bas ulang-alik mengambil kereta dari tempat letak kereta kawasan yang indah dan juga membantu dengan bagasi. Pilihan sarapan pagi agak luas. Perkhidmatannya sangat baik, lebih baik daripada yang saya jangkakan daripada sebuah rumah tumpangan.

The area is beautiful. The tent and tent area are very nice. My kids loved it! The receptionist Li Lin 李霖 and the rest of the team are very nice and helpful. Beds are comfortable. The pillow was too high for me, but my husband didn’t complain. If you are light and sound sensitive when sleeping, then bring earplugs and sleeping eye mask, because is a tent, of course. The tent I booked was very comfortable in size for two adults and two kids. It had two queen beds and one single bed. There is tv and amenities (shampoo&Co, toothbrush, shaving kit, hair dryer). Breakfast was Chinese style buffet, which we are happy with. The restaurant belongs to another hotel in the same area (there are several hotels in that park). You can order bbq set. Nice quality meat and veggies. I would recommend this camping area for any family with kids. There is a playground area as well and is nice to walk through the trees.

Pros - excellent views of the river and boats passing by - convenient location next to the ticket office of the scenic area - filling breakfast - helpful owner who also let us charge our EV for free and was ready to help with our luggage - homestay has its own restaurant Cons - the room cleanliness could be much better. There were dirty marks all over the bathroom floor, windows and TV - poor sound insulation (you can hear your neighbours) - the village is currently undergoing a lot of construction work - it's clear that the homestay can't change it, however, it would be great if guests could be warned about it in advance. The area is quite dusty Overall, taking into consideration hygiene and the state of the area around (construction sites), the price was a bit too high for the stay. The views of the nature are unbeatable thought.

這個正宗4星，這個價格，住這個酒店，覺得一點都不值，有種上當的感覺，本來想退房，但到達酒店已經是晚上，周邊也沒有訂到，房間的硬件我也不知道如何評價，衞生間很小，反正……。第二天的早餐跟正宗4星不匹配，跟民宿差不多，能吃飽。是我住過的4星酒店最差的一個酒店，跟農家樂差不多。但是服務員態度很好，有問必答，有求必應，她們是總枱的小樑，戴眼鏡的女士，帥哥，服務員小蒙。照片發幾張好的，差的就不發了。
