✨ A hidden gem in Taizhou: Fuchen Yin 府城隐 What makes this hotel truly special is its incredible story — a beautiful transformation from an old 财神庙 (temple of the God of Wealth, so yes… extra good fortune vibes 😉) and a historic printing factory into a serene luxury retreat. Tucked away in a quiet residential alley and accessible by buggy, the hotel feels like a secret escape from the busy world. The moment you step inside, you feel a sense of calm. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with generous spaces to unwind, relax, and simply enjoy the moment. My favourite corners? The library, where I spent time getting lost among the books, and the piano area, where I happily played a few tunes. These little details made the stay feel more like a home away from home rather than just a hotel. The breakfast was an absolute highlight — a celebration of Taizhou’s local flavours. I loved discovering so many regional specialties: 🍵 青草糊 — a refreshing grass jelly dessert with a wonderful touch of peppermint that made it even more refreshing 🍜 姜汤面 and 芋头面 — comforting local noodle dishes 🍰 三色糕 🍚 乌饭麻糍 (with red bean filling) 🥟 扁食 …and so many more delicious local treats that I wish I had a bigger stomach! They even helped me buy the famous 海苔饼 — the whole reason I came to Taizhou — and it arrived piping hot. Truly the kind of thoughtful service that makes a trip memorable. The hotel facilities are exceptional. From the beautifully designed spaces to the thoughtful amenities, everything has been carefully considered. The bed deserves a special mention — probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. They also provide turndown service, luxurious toiletries, and a complimentary minibar (which, by the way, included local rice wine 🍶 — just saying 😉). A huge thank you to every member of the Fuchen Yin team for making my stay so warm and memorable. The combination of history, design, local culture, incredible food, and heartfelt hospitality makes this one of the most unique stays I’ve experienced. Definitely a place I would love to return to. 🤍

This hotel deserves to have a perfect 10 out of 10 rating, and I don't understand why it doesn't have that because it is perfect. The pictures do not do it justice because it is luxurious and it gives luxurious treatment. It is beautiful, very clean, and has everything you need for your stay. The food is so delicious that if the chefs adopted me I would let them, just so I could eat their food everyday. The entire staff including the owner which we were lucky enough to meet is so warm and kind. I'm not sure how much the owner is there but he was there the entire time we were there and would attend us himself when he could. We had our own butlers who were fluent in English and were so communicative with us and anything we needed they would quickly attend to it. The owner also speaks some English himself. I wish I was as fluent in Chinese as they all are in English. The location is also perfect because it is near all the scenic areas and the towns because it's just a very short Didi ride away.The rooms are beautiful and luxurious. I could go on and on about how wonderful this hotel is, but if you get a chance you must experience it for yourself. This is one of the absolute best hotels I have stayed at and I am so glad I got to stay here for our first China visit.

來天台山三次，住過三家不同的精品酒店，溪也給我的綜合體驗是最好的，非常推薦。 首先，地理位置絕佳，就在老街上，周邊吃喝十分方便。恰逢颱風天，時不時會遇上大暴雨，很慶幸選擇了溪也，不必擔憂暴雨影響出行。 溪也的室內設計品位高級，空間利用率很高。在鬧中取靜的老街一隅，能規劃出這麼多面積寬裕的客房，實屬不易。酒店景觀精緻，融合了佛教禪意、東方美學與當代美學元素，角落細節做工考究，處處可見巧思。房間乾淨整潔、一塵不染，備品與客房設施均選用優質品牌，體驗感很好；另外，衞生間地面還配置了地暖。 溪也的服務同樣令人印象深刻。對接我的管家是圓圓，出發前一天便主動聯繫，幫我安排了接站，司機師傅也十分友善。抵達酒店後，管家細緻介紹了房間，還送上品類豐富的歡迎水果與糕點；傍晚又送來綠豆湯和紅豆湯，貼心的投喂讓人倍感滿足。十分感謝圓圓以及溪也全體工作人員的熱情接待！ 溪也的早餐為套餐形式，分中西兩種選項，品類豐盛。中餐裏的台州特色食餅筒味道出眾，西餐的肉醬意麪更是讓人驚喜，口味勝過多數西餐廳。 總而言之，十分推薦溪也，下次到訪還會選擇入住！

Beautiful interior. Very modern design with good facilities. You'd need to walk around 100 meters to get to the hotel, as it is located inside a walking street. Great location if you'll spend your time within Ziyang street and climbing the city wall. Air conditioning does not work during Spring. It might be a bit warm at the middle of the day and early afternoon but chilly at night, so make sure that your room is facing the street and the windows can be opened.

Very good hotel! Very tasty breakfast with some Western options, but the Chinese ones were amazing. We also appreciated the midnight snack. Only thing is that the washing machines were always occupied so it was a bit hard to use but we still managed to wash. We do not speak Chinese but were able to communicate easily via a translator app. Overall, I think it is a great hotel with a good price-quality ratio. Will be staying here again.

民宿地處半山腰，環境安靜，視野開闊。露台能觀賞日出，夜晚在此吹海風愜意十足。民宿帶有少許台階，老闆貼心幫忙提行李。民宿後面山上是山海之韻與懸崖咖啡廳，我們並非自駕出行，老闆貼心接送。步行幾分鐘即可到達沙灘。早餐是本地特色嵌糕，蠻好吃的。老闆待人熱情，全程服務暖心，海邊度假強烈推薦。

民宿離景區很近，步行幾分鐘能到遊客中心，房間衞生整潔，設施先進齊全，衞生間24小時熱水很大，洗澡很舒服，環境優美，花園裡種了很多玫瑰，月季，還有水果，蔬菜，早餐豐富可口，老闆娘做的糊拉汰很好吃，服務超讚，老闆娘還請了瑜伽教練，真是一次超讚的入住體驗，下次還會帶團再來

Очень понравился наш отдых в этой уютной гостинице! Большое спасибо хозяевам за гостеприимство и заботу. Особенно приятно, что отель находится совсем близко к Shenxianju Scenic Area – хозяин лично отвез нас туда, а потом забрал после прогулки, что очень удобно! Хозяйка – прекрасный повар, кормили нас очень вкусно. Красивый интерьер. Еще нас угостили свежими сезонными фруктами – персики были такими сочными и сладкими, просто объедение! Рядом с отелем есть ”Тропа здоровья” – мы с удовольствием прогулялись по ней, насладились природой и увидели две красивые плотины. Очень живописное место!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Yiting Hotel in Taizhou, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at the reception were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure my check-in was smooth and quick. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the city. I also appreciated the little touches, like complimentary bottled water and a selection of tea and coffee. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel’s restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, both local and international. I particularly enjoyed the freshly made pastries and the selection of fresh fruits. The restaurant staff were attentive and made sure everything was perfect. The hotel’s location is another big plus. It is conveniently located near several popular attractions, making it easy to explore Taizhou. I was able to visit the Taizhou Museum and the city’s beautiful parks with just a short walk or taxi ride. Overall, my stay at Yiting Hotel was fantastic. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a great location makes it a perfect choice for anyone visiting Taizhou. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

We just checked out today, and honestly this was one of the best experiences I’ve had in China. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. He even upgraded us to a bigger room with a beautiful terrace, a higher floor, and an amazing view, which made our stay even more special. What touched us the most was how they treated us like guests, not just customers. They invited us to have dinner together, and we spent the evening eating, chatting, and playing games. It felt very warm and authentic. They also paid attention to every detail. They asked us what time we usually wake up and when we would like breakfast, and in the morning they brought a delicious breakfast directly to our room. As a foreigner who has been living in China for two years, this is honestly the first time I have felt so comfortable, welcomed, and connected with local people during a stay. It was a wonderful experience that we will remember for a long time. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a warm, genuine, and memorable experience.
