II was thoroughly impressed by my stay at Mercure Dongtai Huanghai Forest Park! The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The entire property was impeccably clean, making my stay even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. They went the extra mile by offering assistance proactively—whether guiding me or simply checking in to ensure everything was perfect. Their attentiveness added a personal touch that made me feel truly valued as a guest. I was also deeply impressed by their honesty and efficiency. When I realized I had left an item behind, I called the hotel, and 小徐 (Xiao Xu) at the front desk confirmed within seconds that it had been safely kept. She even arranged for it to be delivered to me the very next day—such outstanding service! Thanks to this wonderful experience, I will definitely choose Mercure hotels again in the future. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my stay so delightful!

Came primarily to see the red-crowned cranes, this place is the perfect stay if you're also here for the same purpose. Walking distance to the nature reserve. Located in a nicely renovated arts village, which is lovely to walk around (even has an art exhibit building). The room I got was different from the one I initially booked but it was great. Extremely clean and good facilities. Only problem is that the room is perhaps a little too spacious for warm air to circulate evenly, it got cold even with the heater on. No takeout nearby as the place is remote, but the one open restaurant in the village had delicious meals, great prices, and friendly staff. Portion sizes were absurdly big so you really get value for your money haha. Front desk is located in the cool-looking hut/visitor center, staff was helpful with everything throughout!

環境：在老城區，周邊集中了不少飯店，還有好多的龍虎鬥網紅店，距離不超過1公里。 衞生：乾淨的。帶着小朋友，為睡覺安全移動了沙發到床邊，地上仍然是乾淨的。 設施：恆温的浴室淋浴頭，出水很大。 服務：特別提一下5月27日下午入住時前台年齡略長一點的服務員（第二天問了一下前台當班服務員，告知藝名叫景暮），從小朋友入住登記、到房間wifi 接入，其實我們有點小情緒的，這個服務員情緒穩定、應對得體，有服務精神，很不錯👍 第二天退房時，小朋友隨手塗鴉的紙忘在了房間，返回時服務枱的服務員和客房清掃人員也是給了很大的方便，謝謝。

The hotel was not bad for a small town. The room was big and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not bad too. It's just a bit too old, furniture is worn out, some sockets in the room don't work

Set right by the water, the hotel has a peaceful, poetic atmosphere, with a stunning and highly Instagrammable landscape, especially at sunrise and sunset, when the lake reflects the sky like a mirror. The rooms are clean, and very comfortable, designed for complete relaxation, with large windows that bring nature into the space. A major highlight is the thermal water, perfect for unwinding and recharging, adding an extra layer of wellness to the overall experience. That said, it’s worth noting that the spa and massage services were not available during this period, which may be a drawback for guests specifically seeking those facilities. Overall, Yihe Lakeside Homestay remains an excellent choice for travelers looking for beautiful scenery, a calm retreat, and a truly photogenic stay, where time seems to slow down.

This wasn’t my first time staying in Mingcheng Jinjiang hotel but I must say this time they reminded me how great they are.. I contacted them in advance asking them if they will provide temporary residence registration form. They were super professional especially Sandy Li, who made sure the form was ready. Check-in was smooth and quick, car parking was super convenient. Hotel room was clean and spacious. I asked for a bottle of water, they sent 3 bottles. They were amazing throughout my stay there. It’s a pity I missed breakfast both days as I woke up late hahaha.. but overall an amazing experience.. will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Yancheng.

這次入住直接超出預期！酒店坐落在東晉水城內，地理位置絕佳，推窗即攬滿園風光，目之所及皆是綠意，空氣清新怡人，遠離城市喧囂，度假氛圍感直接拉滿，太適合放空放鬆心情了。 房間體驗感滿分！整體乾淨明亮、整潔無異味，床品柔軟親膚，躺下就能卸下疲憊，睡得格外安穩。衞生間做了乾濕分離設計，佈局合理又清爽，日常使用超方便。清晨推開窗，窗外的水鄉美景盡收眼底，微風拂面，愜意十足。 早餐更是驚喜滿滿！中西式菜品一應俱全，選擇豐富不重樣，更有本地特色美食直擊味蕾。必嘗魚湯麪湯底鮮甜醇厚，鮮而不膩；還有香軟的雞蛋餅、爽口的燙乾絲，每一口都是地道風味，開啟元氣滿滿的一天。 服務方面必須誇誇前台小樑，專業又熱情，有需求都能及時響應，體驗感超棒。景區內的表演十分精彩，尤其是唐藝的演出，氛圍感拉滿，看得意猶未盡。酒店還貼心提供免費停車和景區接駁車服務，出行遊玩毫無顧慮，全程省心又省力。 無論是風景、設施還是服務，都無可挑剔，性價比超高！下次來東晉水城，一定還會選擇這家酒店，強烈推薦給想來度假放鬆的朋友～

My 2nd time in Dongtai, 1st time in Leida hotel. It looked good on the website. 1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected. The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds! I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights. The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer. Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.
