Hotel Aswan dengan Sarapan

Located in the middle of a Nubian village, this hotel is very different to the polished world of resorts and cruise ships that most tourists will see when they come to Aswan. There is a market in the area where you can buy spices, teas, and jewelry. The aesthetic and vibe of the place is bright and colorful, the people are super friendly and there are a lot of camels. Nubian Palace is not just a hotel, but also a coffee shop and restaurant. The food is AMAZING! They even packed us a breakfast box for our early morning flight.

Many celebrities have stayed at this hotel, where I enjoyed the view worth seeing from anywhere while staying in a fabulous room. Especially the view of the Nile from the rooms is breathtakingly beautiful. I can't help feeling how much effort goes into maintaining the hotel's facilities, including the garden. Moreover, as an attention to detail, towels in the room are embroidered with the hotel logo, and the cotton package containing the hair dryer is also embroidered with ”Wonderful hair begins with a little wind” . I would like to express my respect to all the people who have continued to put such attention to detail into their work! I would highly recommend this hotel and I look forward to visiting again in the near future!

食物：提供當地食物，價格公允，味道不差👍 服務：服務不錯，部分工作人員會英語，溝通無障礙；來回一次坐船免費，住店期間出去坐船的話來回200磅，去菲萊神廟來回400磅（好像是因為神廟碼頭要收取一些費用）；我們問酒店預訂了車輛去阿布辛貝神廟，4100埃鎊，略貴但是好像是正規公司提供的服務，駕駛員人很好👍 環境：酒店正對菲萊神廟，從碼頭坐船到達酒店所在的島，大約需要十分鐘，尼羅河的景色很美：房間裏會有一些壁虎出沒哈哈哈，但是上廁所和洗澡沒有問題，比想象中的衞生條件要好一些。 總體來説值得推薦，沒有wifi，但是是有趣的自然體驗。

聽説阿斯旺較為繁華的是尼羅河東岸，但這是一家在尼羅河西岸努比亞村裡的一家小旅館，如果有包車的話可以住在村子裏感受一下努比亞文化（進村有一段路在修，不好走晚上很黑），清晨出門就能看到尼羅河日出，很安靜，小村子也很美。服務特別好，早上出發的早會打包早餐（一些麪包酸奶盒裝果汁），有獨立衞浴，衹是光線比較昏暗，降低期待，在埃及是很正常且不錯的條件，至少乾淨，洗澡水熱，和衣而睡一晚問題不大。

Pros The hotel facilities were absolutely beautiful with an amazing view. Traditional Nubian style house. Every corner makes you want to capture the space. We had a rocky start but the hotel staff tried to redeem themselves. We lost an apple watch which the hotel helped us get back ASAP before we reached Luxor. We are grateful for this. Cons Awful communication and hospitality. We were the only guests in the entire resort because of low season but still received shitty service. The hotel is in a secluded place making it difficult to reach.It’s on top of a mountain on a dusty rocky road. The hotel offers a tuktuk. We did our research prior and contacted the hotel to arrange getting to the hotel from the village and check in since we knew we’d land in the AMs. We were ignored. We arrived at the village meeting point at 1:45 but only ended up getting to our rooms around 3:50am because reaching the hotel via call and WhatsApp was so difficult. The staff had no sense of urgency. We were frustrated and anxious in this wellness resort. Our taxi driver refused to take us up the mountain and the tuktuk refused to take us because of our many bags (which is understandable). I’m very disappointed in the service and I know the staff has lots of potential to improve on their service delivery. The hotel needs to be more cognisant of their customer service and guests hospitality. Staying here was stressful. Recommended if you want aesthetic vibes,a beautiful picturesque hotel with good breakfast. Don’t recommend if you prioritise great guest services, comfortability and peace.

酒店就在尼羅河邊，很大一片全是他家，有點類似於比較有特色的民宿，是努比亞的風格，房間裏有很多特色的裝飾。 酒店位置比較郊外，周邊荒無人煙很偏僻，所以也很安靜。從開羅飛阿斯旺我們預約的酒店接機結果收了55刀，大概開車四十多分鐘，感覺被坑了，其實可以直接出機場叫車，沒有網上説的那麼亂。 酒店的早餐還不錯，這個煎蛋非常好吃，有一位服務員，是努比亞人，對我特別nice，會主動幫我端東西，提醒我注意台階，是埃及之旅我感覺到最真誠友好的服務，可惜忘了問他名字，走的時候想找他給小費也沒找到。

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel. Die Zimmer sind in einem rustikalen Stil, haben aber alles Grundlegende vorhanden. Einzig die Lage gibt dem Hotel hier deutlich Minuspunkte, da es doch sehr außerhalb und in einer ungeteerte Straße liegt. Ein Uber / Taxi zu bekommen war dementsprechend nicht so einfach.

The hotel is located very close to the Nile River, and the view from the room window overlooks the Movenpick Hotel. The breakfast area also had a great view. The bathroom was spacious and had plenty of hot water. The heating was a great help as it was cold at night. The receptionist was very kind. The location is also good, just a 10-minute walk from Aswan Station through the souk. I highly recommend it.

Our stay at Benben was a bit of a mixed one. If you are someone who has a lot of time on your hands and you want to take photos for instagram and do not care about water supply/shower issue, this may be the right place for you. On the other hand, if you have travel schedule planned and not too flexible with time (e.g., Abu Simbel day trip) and care about sleep quality, this is not the place for you. We stayed here for 2 nights, on our first day, we arrived around 3pm with sweats and heat exhaustion from our Philae temple visit. After being sent to our room, we realised the water wasn’t working. Hotel told us to wait as they had some water supply issue, after waiting for 5 hours, we called again and were told they are still fixing it and could not tell us an ETA on the fix. With frustration and massive migraine from heat exhaustion and no clear ETA, I figured I had to sleep with sweats and anger. The 2nd issue we encountered was the ferry to the dock. The hotel is on and island which means every time we want to go in and out, we would need to contact the hotel to arrange for the boat for transfer). On the day we need to leave, we were waiting on the boat with a Danish couple but we could not depart after waiting for 20 mins (post the initial agreed departure time). Even though the other couple made a complaint to the hotel staff, they did not care or give a clear answer on when we can leave. Another 20 mins later, we we realised we were waiting for another couple to come onboard (and confirmed with them that they were 20 mins late to their original appointment). At this point, we were already very late to meet our own driver and start our 8 hours trip to Luxor. Most hotel staff could not speak English, the only ones we can communicate to was Nirvana (from front counter) and the restaurant manager. The rest of the staff were not well trained to do basic communication. So… If you have time, ok to deal with the above potential issues (oh…and lots of stairs!), go ahead and you will enjoy the amazing views from the hotel.

When I read the reviews, I wasn’t sure if I should stay here—but in the end, I’m so grateful I made this amazing decision. I was traveling alone and prefer a slower pace rather than rushing from one tourist spot to another. I originally booked for three days but ended up extending my stay by one more night because I absolutely loved the environment here. Transportation: If you’re using INDRIVE, the correct location to input is Pyramisa Isis Island pick-up point. However, on Google Maps, you can also navigate to Travel with Weso—it’s the same place. From there, wait for the shuttle boat, which comes about every 10 minutes. The ride to the hotel takes around 7 minutes. During my stay, I visited Abu Simbel Temple and Philae Temple, but you need to first take the shuttle boat back to the city to start those trips. Service: Huge thanks to Manager Christine. After a 12-hour train ride to get here, her warm smile and kind service made me feel instantly at home. She arranged an early check-in and even upgraded my room to one with a beautiful balcony overlooking the Nile. The front desk staff were also incredibly friendly. The whole experience was so touching that on my last night, I had tears in my eyes as I passed the reception. They noticed, and when I got back to my room, I received a call just to check in on me. During breakfast, the servers were attentive and often engaged in light conversation, which made the whole experience feel warm and relaxing. Facilities: As mentioned in other reviews, the facilities are a bit dated. But in my personal experience, the cleanliness was acceptable. Previously, I stayed in a Pyramid View room at Mena House in Cairo, and honestly, I found the cleanliness to be similar. Perhaps it wasn’t great in the past, but maybe they’ve improved. The breakfast is buffet-style with a modest but sufficient variety: about 5–6 types of bread, a salad section, hot dishes, and beverages. Sailing Experience: This was the highlight of my stay, and I highly recommend it. Ask for Captain SAFI—a reliable and professional Nubian sailor. You can find him right next to the hotel’s dock, so there’s no need to go all the way into town to book a sailboat. These boats serve only hotel guests, so the service quality is excellent. Just agree on a price you’re comfortable with—there’s no hard selling. Even better, they are happy to tailor the experience to your preferences, including timing and what kind of scenery you’d like to see. I love the Nile, so I ended up doing four days of sailing. • On the first day, I enjoyed a one-hour sunset cruise. • On the second day, I swam in the shallow waters of the Nile for two hours, then visited a Nubian village, returning to watch the sunset on the river. • On the third day, Captain SAFI introduced me to beautiful water-bound trees and I swam again. I later found out they even offer full-day trips where you can drift along the Nile on the sailboat—but sadly, I was about to leave. These few days were deeply immersive and serene. The gentle, peaceful Nile has become one of the most special and unforgettable memories of my life. I’m especially thankful to the thoughtful Captain SAFI for such a wonderful experience. ⭐️ I hope those of you choosing to stay here will fully experience the magic of the Nile.
