Hotel Jakarta dengan Sarapan

2night stay at Discovery SCDB to attend a conference in Jakarta. Booked a twin share room and this was the most unique and well designed twin-share room I have ever stayed in! 2 beds but with a separator and individual amenities for each person! 2 of almost everything including desk, TV, wardrobe & even separate wash basins! Room was clean. Wifi was stable and fairly fast. Morning breakfast was booked inclusive and is a free-flow ala-carte breakfast ordered from their menu. Food was tasty and the restaurant ambience and service was excellent. Check-in was very straightforward and staff was friendly, helpful and most importantly, spoke good English. Location was excellent right in the middle of the CBD next to a huge shopping mall Pacific Place. Overall an excellent stay. Will definitely return when next there. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Shangri-La Jakarta was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, the genuine warmth and professionalism of the team stood out. Every interaction felt sincere, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. What impressed us most was the exceptional care shown to our children. The team paid attention to the little details, interacted warmly with them, and made them feel special throughout our stay. Those thoughtful touches created a wonderful family experience and made a lasting impression. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, while the facilities were excellent. The breakfast offered a great variety with high-quality food, and the overall dining experience was equally impressive. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for creating such a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families.

Checking in was decent, we had to wait 20 minutes for the room to be ready and to be fair it was new year's eve on Dec 31st so can't complain. The room is modern and upscale with a touch of traditional Indonesian heritage design. What I love most is the bed and bathroom..especially the rain shower plus the water pressure is perfect. We also received complementary cocholate as well to celebrate new year. Lastly breakfast menu was good, they served western and Indo menus, pastries and desserts. Overall was excellent.

Kami menginap di Suite Eksekutif di Citadines dan sangat menikmati masa kami di sana. Pemandangan latar langit sangat indah, terutamanya pada waktu malam, dan suite ini luas, moden, dan sangat selesa. Apabila TV pintar kami berhenti berfungsi, kakitangan segera bertindak balas dan membawakan kami TV baharu dalam masa yang sangat singkat, yang sangat mengagumkan. Disebabkan betapa selesanya semuanya, kami akhirnya melanjutkan penginapan kami selama dua minggu lagi. Perkhidmatan yang hebat, pemandangan yang hebat, dan pengalaman keseluruhan yang sangat baik. Kami dengan senang hati akan menginap di sini lagi.

Saya menikmati penginapan yang sangat menyeronokkan di Ascott Jakarta. Biliknya sangat luas, bersih, dan selesa, memberikan persekitaran yang santai selepas seharian meneroka bandar. Lokasinya strategik, dan kakitangannya ramah dan membantu sepanjang penginapan saya. Satu perkara yang perlu diperbaiki ialah pilihan sarapan pagi, kerana pelbagai pilihan akan meningkatkan pengalaman keseluruhan. Walau bagaimanapun, kualiti penginapan, saiz bilik yang besar, dan keselesaan telah memenuhi semua ini. Secara keseluruhan, ia adalah penginapan yang menyenangkan, dan saya dengan senang hati akan kembali pada lawatan saya yang seterusnya ke Jakarta.

Had a great stay overall. The staff are very accommodating, friendly, and professional—they made the experience smooth from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of space to move around and manage luggage easily. A good option if you prefer bigger rooms compared to newer compact hotels. Location is very convenient, especially being near Kota Kasablanka mall, with lots of dining and shopping options just a short walk away. Breakfast was average—decent variety but nothing particularly standout. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay with great service. Would consider staying here again.

Good facilities for fitness center, swimming with cold and warm indoor pool. Breakfast is decent with combination of asian and western food.

A mixed bag of feelings here. I thought I was feeling lucky when they told me at check-in that I was getting a complimentary upgrade (to Deluxe) Unfortunately I was plagued with a number of recurrent issues. The room itself is very nice (311), best thing about it was the bed and the views into the city by the window. With that said, it did have a number of issues, so it was not the finished article in my mind (the safe locked without instructions, the wooden ***** on the floor coming off making me trip, the kettle malfunctioning, not hot water on the basin, so had to use the kettle to shave daily) When I arrived, it had not been fully cleaned (see pictures) All of these were actually minor issues vs. other stuff I experienced, I didn't make much of it as I was getting an upgrade. The problems came a few days later when it started raining, and suddenly I was getting sore throats in the room with the temp marking almost 25c and the air con off. I had to take mucolytics and anti-flu tablets cause I was getting a bad cold there. I was wondering if the air conduct were releasing bad spores into the air because it was so tatty (pictures attached) So with no heating, I got cold there with 27c outside, I find this very very strange. But the much bigger problem was a few days later when I was hearing massive thumps, bangs and wall stomping from the room right above me, they had placed a family with 4 kids on top of me and it went on at all times in the evening. It got so bad that I requested a change of room, and surprise, they gave me a really REALLY bad downgrade to the 17th floor in a much smaller room, on a really grotty floor that looked like a 2 star highway motel. I thought maybe they were penalising me. The staff at reception told me the next day the people checked out, but the same noises continued another 2 days, so they lied to me or they placed another family with noisy children. The floor on top is super thin. You can hear anyone walking as if they re stomping on it.It will drive you crazy. I also heard people next door hammering something at 1 am in the morning for two nights straight. This hotel has big structural problems. I don't pay $520 to get tortured, it felt like it at some point. On a separate note, the breakfast service was more like a brunch, very varied and many choices (except for meat and fish that was very underwhelming) They had a temp control management problem, there were mornings when I touched the trays and they were at room temp. Also the plates for the hot section are not heated, so that with the powerful air con overhead translated into your hot food going lukewarm almost immediately, which makes it taste disgusting. It was only the last 2 or 3 days when I started placing my plates on the griddle for a few mins with the staff's permission, when I could finally start eating hot food. Due to this, I was getting ”stomach runs” every single day after breakfast, except for two days. This is a breach of H&S So there are several issues that affected my health here. The restaurant and cafe in the evening had some good meals. The Mexican had some Western tucker that I enjoyed, my last meal (Mexican enchiladas) was underwhelming, felt like cantine food that was microwaved and badly, because I had to send it back for being lukewarm. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel due to numerous health problems I suffered. I also discovered that if it weren't for the upgrade, I would have been given a horrible room like the one I saw quite possibly.(the room I received cost almost $1000 for two weeks, still very overpriced) This wasn't cheap, and I feel it was so expensive for what it was. Definitely not a 4 star, a 3 star is more befitting. The staff was mostly corteous, And premises are up to standard only in places. The gym was very nice. The pool area nice with some views, if only a little tiny..

Ulasan: Penginapan Hotel 5 Bintang – Pengalaman Bercampur. Saya baru-baru ini menginap di hotel 5 bintang ini Ogos 2025, yang, walaupun kemegahannya, menunjukkan usianya pada usia hampir sedekad. Hartanah ini mengekalkan daya tarikan yang elegan, tetapi beberapa aspek membuatkan saya bercampur-baur. Bilik dan Kebersihan: Bilik ini sangat luas, tarikan utama penginapan, dengan hiasan yang agak lama dan ruang yang luas untuk berehat. Walau bagaimanapun, kebersihan adalah sederhana pada tahap terbaik. Walaupun permukaannya kelihatan kemas, terdapat tanda-tanda haus yang ketara, dan bau asap rokok yang meresap adalah kelemahan utama. Saya secara khusus telah meminta bilik bebas rokok melalui Trip.com dan mengulanginya semasa daftar masuk, tetapi dimaklumkan bahawa tiada bilik larangan merokok tersedia. Sebagai isyarat, kakitangan menaik taraf saya ke bilik tingkat yang lebih tinggi, yang saya hargai, tetapi bau rokok masih kuat, berlarutan di dalam bilik dan koridor hotel. Untuk hotel 5 bintang, saya mengharapkan perhatian yang lebih baik terhadap kebersihan dan permintaan tetamu. Saya akan mengesyorkan hotel ini untuk kemudahannya tetapi menggesa pihak pengurusan untuk menangani isu merokok dan meningkatkan responsif perkhidmatan untuk benar-benar memenuhi piawaian 5 bintang. Bilik udara di Jakarta agak sederhana, secara keseluruhannya OK. Secara keseluruhannya agak bersih, tetapi hiasannya sederhana. Terdapat sebuah masjid di sebelahnya yang memainkan muzik pembesar suara, dan bunyinya boleh diterima.
