Boutique Van HAM

Stayed for 2 nights for a work trip, the room was comfortable, not really anywhere for storage but it did have good toiletries and was very clean. I wouldn't classify this as a boutique hotel, more of a bed and breakfast above a restaurant. The breakfast was nice but I would say €15 per person is not in keeping with the quality or quantity of the food. They had a great selection of international tv channels and fast wifi. A couple of downsides: The staff left at 6pm every day (they did notify me of this when I arrived) so there is no reception or staff available after 6pm. As a solo female (who has travelled for many years) this did make me feel slightly nervous, plus there is no security cameras in the building. Considering there was no staff in the building, when the lock for my room was temporarily broken (and I was locked out of my room) I was slightly concerned. Furthermore, when I came back to my room to a strong smell of sewage from the drains I couldn't notify anyone until the next day. Finally my bathroom did not have any curtains or blinds for privacy but only contact film on the windows which made showering at night with the lights on not very private. The staff were very nice and did listen when I explained some of the above points when I checked out!

I am very pleased with my one night stay here. It was very close to the location i needed to go for the show (Mezz) and despite me arriving late, the receptionist (Sharon) waited to give me instructions for check in, I appreciated that. Contact was prompt and easy to reach. Room was comfortable, clean and brightly lit. Having said that you do get the occasional singing and shouting in the wee hours of the morning as the location is in the heart of the city centre. Didn't bother me as the bed was super comfortable. Plenty of great eateries around. Again thank you for the pleasant stay and memory.

Snelle ontvangst, we konden al eerder op onze kamers omdat die al klaar waren. Verder een mooie kamer, met koffie/thee mogelijkheden en een heel leuk uitzicht! Een heerlijke landingsplek voor een heerlijke stadsbeleving. Breda is een mooie stad.

Verzorgde kamer, maar voor de prijs zeer klein en sober te noemen. Geen kast op de kamer maar een ludieke witgeverfde tak aan twee kabels om je kleding aan op te hangen. We kwamen op een koude dag laat in de middag aan en de kamer was ijskoud. Entree is wat onduidelijk en het personeel heeft het druk met het café. Al met al geen warm onthaal dus.

Heerlijke kamer, fijn bed, genoeg voorzieningen. Heerlijk ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel. Misschien het ontbijt vanaf een iets vroeger tijdstip serveren doordeweeks? Goede locatie, geluiddichte kamer ondanks dat je boven café slaapt.

Prima en vriendelijke ontvangst. Goed ontbijt. Goede ligging in het centrum. Gehorige kamer, houten vloeren waardoor geluid van andere kamers.. Erg kleine kamer. Heel erg klein zitje. Geen kledingkastje. Nauwelijks ruimte voor bagage.
