We stayed here for one night after a concert...everything went great...

Facilities: Complete Sanitation: Clean Environment: Good

The facilities are old, the sound insulation is very poor, and it is very close to the train station.

Excellent location

ibis Bremen City is well located, not far from the city centre (7-8 minutes walk) and from the main railway station (12-15 minutes walk). My room was very good, bigger than average ibis rooms. It faced the internal courtyard, so it was very quiet. The bed was comfortable, and air conditioning worked well without noise. The bathroom was very small, with all the basics (toilette, basin, shower). Breakfast was good, staff were helpful. Wi-fi worked well, but you need to reconnect and accept again the terms and conditions every time you returned to the hotel.

Small rooms well aged , definitely overpriced, decent location to stay, receptionist was very rude and unhelpful , definitely needs some help with her customer service skills , it took us 40 minutes to check in , the dining area is very small for the amount of people, people were sitting in the reception eating breakfast ,

We chose Ibis because we feel the offer is reliable at a reasonable price, and we weren’t disappointed. Our room was well-equipped, quiet and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, even cheerfully filling our water bottles for us ready for our next rail journey. Thank you!

This hotel is very nice, and what makes it wonderful is the staff! From the front desk to the those who work in the restaurant. Sarah at the front desk is superb, and so helpful and she deserves a promotion. And Bhing in the restaurant make is an experience to dine there. She is so cheerful and attentive. She has worked there for 20 years, and clearly loves caring for the customers and lover her job. Give Bhing a raise! Will return again.

Great experience here, a couple of little niggles but nothing major. Check in was confused and initially I was refused my Silver member benefits but this was eventually resolved. The bed was comfortable, the linens of good quality and the team were great, especially the Berliner (name unknown) working Sunday evening (March 03) and the restaurant lady on the same evening. Only thing missing from the rooms was tea/coffee and a safe.

New hotel that is basic, but then aligns with the budget pricing. Rooms are quiet, have good aircons and wifi, but are understandably small. No bath, just a shower. Oddly no safe to store valuables. Breakfast is pretty good for the price paid. Situated right across the road from the central station. Strangely our room wasn’t cleaned after our first night.

Average Ibis hotel, started to be a bit warn out but rooms was nice and clean. Cleaning service was super. Receiving in reception was 50/50, half staff was smiling other half not and even didnt looked up when you approached. Even we before booking asked for a connecting room (due to kids), and wrote it in our booking note and asked again by mail after booking - reception gave us 2 rooms on each side of hall….when returning to reception asking for connecting rooms only remark from staff was “did you use anything in the rooms”…. We got our connecting rooms and stay was nice and as we wanted. Lift out of order for almost one month…that happens, but please write it on your website or send a notice to your guests before they arrive. Rooms was ok size for short stay, eating and working space worked fine, bathroom small but also worked fine. Better ask for a room at backside, as frontside has a roundabout outside. Parking space downstairs worked fine and was feeling very safe, just be aware to watch out for the entrance as its unmarked on the street and very short (big parking sign on building that you cant see when arriving by car). Location very quiet and nice short walking distance to center and Altstadt.

We stayed for three days and found the hotel a good base for discovering Bremen and for travelling to Wilhelmshaven and Oldenburg. Our room was okay, slightly larger than the standard Ibis room at 16m2. We took the advice of one of our fellow reviewers and asked for a room at the back of the hotel. It was good advice as it was indeed quiet. In standard Ibis style, the room doesn’t have a safe or a fridge but we were surprised that you don’t even get a hand towel or rubbish bin liner. The hotel, if you time it right, is good value for money. The walk into town is about 10 minutes through a very attractive park. The receptionist who greeted us was lovely: very pleasant and helpful. We had other very good interactions with others on reception apart from one evening when we reported that our room hadn’t been cleaned. The receptionist suggested it hadn’t been cleaned because we left our “do not disturb” sign out but, when we said this wasn’t the case, instead of apologising, she said she’d pass the information on. Upon checkout we mentioned this to the two very nice ladies who were on reception and they were profusely apologetic. The Sri Lankan barman was wonderful! The area around the hotel is a bit dodgy so if you’re safety conscious you might want to consider a hotel closer to or in town. The area around the train station, sadly, is frequented by drug pushers and the hotel is next to a doss house.

We chose this hotel as it was about halfway along our journey. Nice and easy check in and we had two cars with us and the parking was secure and easy to get in and out of. After checking in it was time to find the bar and I'm glad we did. The lady serving (see pics) was very welcoming and very funny. After a long drive this was just what we needed. I'm afraid I can't remember her name but she made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. If the hotel management are reading this, then please pass on our huge thanks to the amazing bar lady. If we are ever passing bremen again we will be sure to stay here as bremen is a beautiful city. 😍
