Hotel berhampiran Lidl, Bremen

Tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, schöne Zimmer, sehr gepflegt. Werde ich sicher wieder buchen

The Ibis Budget hotel is in a great location right opposite the Hauptbahnhof (main train station for the city). If you’re looking to go to the Bremer Freimarkt in October, it’s right behind the Hauptbahnhof so you couldn’t find a better place. The Altstadt (old town) isn’t far away either, and you can get buses, trams or taxis right outside. This isn’t a hotel for peace and quiet - there is lots going on around it and it was fairly noisy inside and out with all the hustle and bustle of city life. We booked online and I was able to check in prior to arrival which was helpful - on arrival we just picked up keys and signed the forms, and the bill was sent later by email. The room is as you’d expect - very basic but clean and tidy. Everything worked and it all looked fresh. The beds were fairly comfortable and the shower was good. Unfortunately our air conditioning didn’t seem to work properly - there seemed to be no cooling function. As a consequence the room got really hot and stuffy overnight. We couldn’t really open the door because the city outside was noisy. The other serious issue we had was returning to our room after a day out to find it had been left unlocked by the cleaners. Luckily nothing had been taken, but I was not happy. The price was reasonable and the 12pm checkout is later than many hotels. We just had to drop our keys in a box in the lobby. In summary - this hotel’s best asset is its location. If you want to be in the middle of things:l, this place is for you.

Moin! Wir waren vom 27. bis 29.03.23 hier, um die schöne Hansestadt Bremen kennenzulernen. Um schnell und unkompliziert die City Bremens zu erkunden, eignet sich das B&B Hotel hervorragend. Man erreicht das Zentrum bequem ohne Verkehrsmittel. Das Hotel selbst ist modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut und schmackhaft. We stayed here in December 23 with friends, the room was fabulous, overlooking the station so not a great view but we wasn't here for a view. I wouldn't say the staff were over friendly, polite enough but didn't really want to engage with their guests, very business like but again, we wasn't here to make friends with the staff. The Reception and Bar area was really nice and the bar was reasonably priced although not a great selection of drinks. The area wasn't the best but just a 5/10 minute walk to the main centre and christmas markets. It didn't seem an overfriendly area, some 'different' characters shall we say. Bremen had a lot of homeless people aswe which was very sad. Perfect for the train station and trams. All in all, this hotel did the job and it was a pleasant experience.

The hotel was easy to find and the parking garage is directly under the hotel (elevator access to the lobby). Our room was ready, even though it was 3 hours before check-in, with no extra fee for early check-in! The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were pretty flat, we did get extra pillows from the front desk, which helped! Big room, with 2 TV's and nice shower! Water temperature was good and the full kitchen was nice! Our 6th floor room was pretty quiet, except when we had the window open - then we could hear the street noise. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to staying at an Adagio in the future!

Hotel geboekt omdat mijn zakelijke afspraak om de hoek was. De omgeving is niet ouder dan 5 jaar. Veel nieuwbouw. Hotel is netjes en hip. Vriendelijk receptie gelegen aan de bar. Ontbijt is goed, genoeg keuze. Hotelkamer schoon en overzichtelijk.
