Stayed as part of concert package. Room large and elegant decor, with inter connecting doors to our daughters room. Excellent if limited menu on room service. Staff excellent. Breakfast very good. Would definitely return for maybe a weekend relax. Park connected has excellent walks, very relaxing. Only negative that maybe hotel could have supplied a shuttle bus to concert, as returning from Twickenham was a nightmare. Many guests were in hotel for package, and an extra fee would not have worried guests to pay if it meant an early return to hotel, and more takings at the bar would have been another gain for them.

We booked this Holiday Inn at last minute due to a sporting event nearby. We recently stayed in another Holiday Inn which was excellent, so hoped that this would be the same. The on-site parking was also very important. On arrival at 3:30pm after paying for parking we were told at check in that the car parking space was not guaranteed to hotel guests. The hotel holds functions so it can get full in the evening, but not to worry there is a multi story car park a ten minute walk away!! We went to the rugby event not knowing whether we would be able to park at the hotel on our return. Our Executive room was a disappointment. The safe was not working, the wifi slow and inconsistent, the bed base was torn and the room generally needed a freshen up. It did appear clean. The room was not quiet. The room had a coffee machine as well a kettle etc for tea though No teabags. Only one bathrobe etc. Simple basics that were not right which were a disappointment. The reception staff were sympathetic, very helpful and we could sense their frustration that these simple things were not right.

As expected by the brand, the faculties were upscale and modern. The room was comfortable and mostly clean (coffee stain on the carpet). It was quiet (superior queen) at end of hallway, facing toward interior courtyard. Did not eat breakfast. However, the staff was condescendingly friendly throughout the stay, except for one person at the very end (after we had checked out). Also, finding the hotel was a nightmare. Even with GPS we missed the entrance three times (once we ended up on the M4 and it took us 24 minutes to return). When mentioned to the staff, we were told -with a smile- that no one had ever had problems finding the place (except for us, apparently). The big problem is lack of signage to find parallel access road (see photo of alleyway parallel to main road; we missed that entrance several times) Underground parking (15£ per day) was mostly convenient, but access door to hotel smelled of urine. Lastly: I booked an executive room and was DOWNGRADED by the hotel. Then I was told -with a smile- that Trip.com had sent them a wrong reservation request/voucher; i was told to see with them (ie. MY problem, not theirs).

Because of the positive reviews, I chose to stay at this place. The location is a 20-minute walk from the subway station, which is not too bad. The hotel is also not far from the airport and the subway line is rather convenient. However, I had to wait for 20 minutes when checking in, and parking required an additional fee. The price was not particularly cheap either. There weren't many amenities nearby. This place might be suitable for business trips, but overall, it's just an average chain hotel.

El apartahotel está ubicado en un precioso edificio cilíndrico tipo torre y cuenta con unas instalaciones muy modernas, habitación con cocina equipada, baño con ducha grande y mampara; además cuenta con gimnasio bastante decente. Está en una zona residencial a unos 25 minutos del centro de Londres y a unos 30 minutos del aeropuerto Heatrow con lo que es sumamente sencillo el desplazamiento hacia ambos puntos con la línea de metro azul de Piccadilly Circus. La estación del metro está a unos 15 minutos caminando desde el hotel y por la zona hay suficientes supermercados, cafés y restaurantes

Great hotel Friendly informative staff very helpful Ideal location for Twickenham We walked to ground which took just over an hour then caught 267 bus back Hotel room was very clean and had lovely large towels in bathroom The breakfast for a full English was £9.99 and there was plenty of choice with staff filling up food quickly and efficiently throughout the morning Limited spaces in car park but there is an alternative just down the hill Would recommend
