Ulasan St Christopher's Inn Hostel at the Bauhaus

The four bed room is very nice. The mattresses and pillows are comfortable. There are toilets and showers nearby. The hostile location isn't necessarily Central, but you can walk to the attractions in about 10 to 15 minutes. The bus stop is only about a 3 minute walk away. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant / bar is nice to have. There are other restaurants nearby as well.

Easy to check in. Close proximity to attractions and public transportation. Easygoing staff.

Cons: - The rooms are outside of the main building. Dorms are large but it gets really hot and there's no AC or even fans. It's quite suffocating, even with the windows open (and there's a bar just next to it, so it can be nosy in the evening). Thankfully Belgium nights aren't too hot. - Showers and toilets are in the same room, and shared for men and women, which can feel like a lack of privacy. - No hairdryer or any amenities in the shower room. Pros: - Good location, 15min walk to the center. - Beautiful restaurant inside the main building. - Free earplugs

Nice hostel. Great pub attached. Able to watch the euros. No commentary, though 😞 Lovely staff very helpful. Great English speaking staff. Great prices at the bar. Was able to park my motorcycle right across the street in the bicycle area. Was reassuring.

I picked this hostel for its location and reviews online. In general, I say that it is good. There are some small things that could be improved in terms of quality and overall building maintenance like updating bunk beds and sound proofing. As for service and amenities, I felt the staff communicated well and supplied sufficient offerings especially about what to do and where to go. I was happy to know that they do bike rentals at an affordable price and locker storage. Only suggestion I would have is to provide bikes that are more suitable for longer distances if you suggest riding up to the coast or visiting Netherlands. While the city cruisers bikes are suitable for strolling around on cobble stones inside of Bruges, they are not so nice for longer rides (at least for me) and can make for some heavy slow cumbersome riding. I enjoyed the cycling trip to the north and was amazed by the beauty, nature and farmland heading toward the coast but the bike really made it less comfortable. I kept aching for a simple single speed road bike the entire time 🫠. Just food for thought😌 Otherwise, I was pretty happy with my trip to Bruges. I came by train frim Liége and felt it was worth the trip. Thank you so much for your hard work and effort.

Best hostel in Bruges, best hostel in Belgium I’ve been to. Recommend the karaoke on a Wednesday, the pub at the front feels like the hub of the town

A lot of flies in the bed, need better cleaning. The staffs are nice and location is good.

Good place

They have really good security that you definitely can’t enter the area if you are not a resident. But the room is quit crowded and small so if you have big luggages you will need to consider about that…

It was difficult to get to the hotel early and leave my luggage. I was glad I managed to check in early. A comfortable hotel.

Great location right in the old town, easy to get to by bus number 1. Inexpensive.
