I found sugar wraps and used bandages on my bed Socket wasn’t working at first, but they managed to sort it out. The most important is not about the hostel, Brussels du noord is not safe for a solo travellers! avoid midi and north at all costs !

Location is okay it’s not far from the train station. Price was not bad at all. You do have to make up your own bed.

The room was dirty, the curtain was torn, the shower gel dispensers were broken; the room was given without being checked. There were insects in the room. I have stayed in A&O hotels in different countries, and this was the dirtiest and lowest quality one I have ever stayed in.

Location was great. Easily accessible in a quiet environment. Clean and the stay was good.

Location was ideal near Brussels North Station. Check in was easy and smooth, we could store our luggages early for free. Does not have electric kettle or fridge in the room.

Very bad experience. Around midnight, the check in took around 30min (use a self register webpage that doesn't fully work). The person told me "you're alone in the dorm" but upon entering, the room was a mess. Some beds were made up partially. There was a pile of clean sheets and towels on a table. The trash bin was full and a bag of KFC was left on a bed. The bathroom was messy. There was hand soap instead of shower gel. I went to the reception and made a complaint. "Oh it's not the first time this happened" was the response. For the complimentary breakfast you need to fetch a QRcode from the reception. This however took another 15min and I gave up and left.

Not the best option for females! Typical hostel with mix dorm rooms. Unfortunately they don't separate it for genders! That's a huge minus. If you are a solo-female traveler better choose another hostel, I didn't feel safe there. The check in process is super slow because one person is responsible for everything! Be ready for it. But the hostel is located near the tram that leads to Brussels-Midi which is really convenient.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and concerning from the very beginning. The lobby was packed with people lining up for check-in, and the process was painfully slow. When we finally checked in, we discovered that both my room and my friend’s room already had strangers inside, and they said they were living in the room already, which felt completely unsafe. The hotel only changed our rooms and gave us a room voucher without any explanation or apology. While they were handling our case, other guests interrupted and they immediately switched to helping them first, leaving us waiting again. To make things worse, the bartender was very rude when we tried to redeem our compensate drinks and get one more spoon. Last but not least, the room was not properly prepared upon arrival, we even had to make the bed myself. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Please avoid it if you want a happy journey.
