I was whisked away to old world opulence as I walked into Le Plaza. The ornate chandelier, intricate carpet, and polished seating created a luxurious atmosphere. I was greeted by a friendly night front desk staff member named Ashley. He checked me in quickly and let me know that I could order something to eat if I was hungry. The elevator ride up to my room was a delight. The hallway was decorated in a vintage style, and my room, 534, felt like a miniature villa. The bathroom was gorgeous, and it had all the amenities I needed. It was a bit of a mix of vintage and modern, with a flat screen TV. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in a lot of natural light, and I woke up feeling luxurious every morning. The food at Le Plaza was delicious. I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The service was also excellent. I never had to wait long for anything, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. I injured myself during my stay, and Ashley and the other night staff member, Luis, were very helpful. They gave me first aid supplies and helped me get ice for my injury. I was very grateful for their help. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Le Plaza. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. The location of the hotel is great. It's in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions The hotel offers a variety of room types, so you can find the perfect one for your needs. The hotel has a variety of dining options, so you can find something to suit your taste. I hope this helps!

Stayed for three nights and had a lovely stay, only problem was the lifts weren't working the morning I was due to check out anyway, but besides that this hotel is a hidden gem in the city centre in Place des Martyrs. Rogier station is just a few minutes walk through the shopping centre, for airport bus, train and metro connections. I specifically chose Juliana as this hotel has a swimming pool and wellness facilities, with a mini gym and not many hotels in Brussels have pools. The room I requested was a quiet room on high floor away from lifts, room 306. Very comfortable, but be aware that the large top window brings in a lot of light, you need to ask to get it closed away or it will be very light. It's wonderful to provide Milton Brown toiletries and I enjoyed the Nespresso style coffee and teas provided. Housekeeping were helpful, I lost an earring in the bathroom basin and one of the ladies help recover it, so merci to her for her assistance. Pool, sauna and steam room are great, but be aware that there is no changing area, so go directly down to basement ready changed and wear slippers provided in the bathroom drawers. Staff were very helpful and friendly, I would definitely stay here again if I return to Brussels.

Location was good, room size is perfect for our small family. Love the services that the hotel provides, super fast and efficient, and fuss free. Hotel even provide lounge area, where hotel guests can go there for a small drink and some appetiser for free. I think every hotel should have such service provided, it is just super nice and welcoming back to the hotel. When we were there, it was raining and hotel staff was even offering us in house umbrella for us to use, and we returned it once we are back at the hotel. Room was a tab bit dark at some corners, but otherwise all is good. Nothing to complain about. Will definitely visit again when we are back in Brussels.

The location is very good, right next to the grand place. However, the rooms are old and need to be updated. The sink in the bathroom and the woodwork had cracks. The corridors were dark and dingy. The lamps or coffee machine have to be disconnected to be able to charge one’s devices. There are no adapters or usb ports. The day we arrived, the bell boy was on holiday, so there was no one to help with the bags. The front office staff, other than the most junior of them, seemed totally disinterested. The room was hot in the night and the aircon panel did not work. When we told the front office staff that the air conditioning didn’t work adequately, they didn’t even acknowledge what we were saying, let alone offer any explanation or apology. The breakfast was fine, but the staff again showed very little interest in even asking if we wanted a cooked breakfast. Wouldn’t recommend.

Conveniently located in the walking distance from the Royal Palace, majority of museums and in close proximity to major shopping streets, this hotel is rather remarkable for the opulence and luxury of its rooms. Of all Thon hotels we've stayed at, Stanhope was arguably the most luxurious one. Friendly and discreet personnel, clean and comfortable rooms, high-end cosmetics and amazing beds - all those things make us wish to return. The breakfast was good (albeit not as good as at Thon at avenue Louise) - we were missing on variety of juices and smoothies as well as offer of cheeses and meats. All in all, it is indeed an oasis of luxury in Brussels and we would be looking forward to staying here again.

Probably the worse experience check-in so far! We arrived early and asked politely to the staff what time is the check-in, this particular staff name Tobe M. was very rude and responded at 3pm. So we went around town and came back at 2:50pm to check-in, this staff was very unfriendly saying it was not 3:00pm yet, eventually he let us in. But overall the check-in experience was such a nightmare. Breakfast was good though.

A warm and very clean no-frills hotel close to the centre of Bruges. Great location close to many restaurants and a short walk from the main square. Friendly helpful staff. Basic room layout, plastic sinks etc. but clean and warm. Nice bar and breakfast option. Parking in adjacent underground public car park, with lift access to hotel courtyard. A good city centre option for a short stay.

Location was a big let down but not because of the the hotel…it was because of the train station near the hotel and the poor upkeep of it. The hotel is very neat and super safe (I think because of the area it is in) nothing to complain about there. I love the fact that it was close to the station though, just don’t like the area.

Location was good, breakfast was good.Room,which not facing the main street was Ok.In the beginnig of our vacation we had a room facing main street.It was extremly noisy and hot.Hotel doesn”t have AC.So on the hot days you can”t even open the window because of noise. The reception people were very nice and very helpful for any question and problem.Especially I would like to thank Mercedes,Ettienne and Rashid. Somebody mentioned the pillows - I agree,time to change it. But overall it was Ok.

Where to begin? - Mould around the bath - No shower curtain or cubicle, just a shower head and hose attached to the bath taps. - No WiFi in the room - Not been updated since 1980s - Room did not look like it'd been hoovered before I got there. - There was dust around the edges of the floor, by the skirting boards and on all the walls, ledges and appliances. - Somebody else's sorry socks had been left in the room, on the luggage rack. - Breakfast: miserable affair: bread, a few soft rolls, cheap charcuterie and processed cheese. It's a shame because the hotel could be made to look good and is centrally located. There seemed to be a few people on benefits staying there too. All in all, avoid. Too expensive for what you are getting. I wished I hadn't gone. It felt dirty

Location: quite convenient and approximate 25mins drive from the airport. But it seems that it is not quite close to the aerobus route (fyi if you wish to come here by aerobus and that is the reason why we choose to take a Cabify with lots of baggages lol :) ) Service: quite warm-welcoming staff and they will show you around the hotel for the first check in, leading you from the desk to your room. Amenities: we were allocated with the room under the rooftop and this, the room is quite narrow and the height is lower than normal. Worse still, there is no street view.

Very good value for the price paid. I stayed here for 7 nights in different rooms: single twin bed en-suite shower, 3 bed girls dorm room and 6 bed girls dorm. About 15 mins walk from Brussels Central and maybe 20 mins from Brussels North Station accessible from Brussels Airport. 24 hr reception and helpful staff to welcome you to the hostel. Affordable prices for dorm rooms and all rooms include free breakfast 7-10am (coffee, tea, juice, water, milk, bread, cereal, ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, salad) FYI: bring your own lock for the lockers, your own travel towel (or pay 1 euro), hand soap/soap bar (not provided in bathrooms) and ear plugs/eye mask. Limited lockers (large and small) available on ground floor (use your own lock) are free to use. Otherwise, ask staff to store your luggage in the luggage room. Lots of space on ground floor to hang out including tables, chairs, some computers for guest use, vending machines, plus very good free wifi. Cons: noisy rooms especially facing the street side (despite the window being closed) and rooms not sound-proof easily allowing hallway noise in and noise from neighboring rooms. Also, no curtains on the windows so some light enters the room if you prefer a dark room to sleep. Lockout time from 11am-3pm if staying in hostel rooms due to daily cleaning. There was a heating/AC unit in some rooms but I did not utilize it as the temperature at the time I visited was mild with rain some days. When the room got hot, I opened the windows to ventilate the space. Would recommend staying here if on a budget and needing a centrally located, safe place to sleep.

Accessibility and Location: Right next to De Broukere station, perfect for getting around by public transport and on foot to major sights of Brussels. Arrived very early but the gentleman on reception put himself out to see whether we could be accommodated early and he was able to check us in which we were very grateful for because we had had a very early start. The room was really nice bed really comfortable lovely bathroom.Although we had to pay for our continental breakfast it was very nice. Our travel plug did not work and reception lent us one. We decided to extend our stay for one more night and the hotel was able to help us with this.All staff were friendly and helpful it was our first trip to Brussels.The reception booked some taxis for which was great. Would definitely stay again
