We stayed in one of the western cabins for 3 nights. The location cannot be beat, all the hikes we took we walked to from our cabin, no need to hope for parking spots at a trail head. I am a clean freak, and while I wish some of the nook and crannies were a little cleaner, it is a cabin after all, and everything that mattered was spotless. Bathrooms were very clean and the beds were clean with no signs of bed bugs (they also use mattress protectors, which I appreciate). The cabins are connecting, so there at times you could hear your neighbor, while this wasn’t too bad for us, it would really be a luck of the draw based on the neighbors you have. I really liked how the cabin had a sink in the bathroom with the shower and toilet, but it also had an additional room with a large sink and vanity. This made it easy for us to get ready in the morning, allowed for more storage for our toiletries, and a more hygienic way of getting water for our hikes. Bryce Canyon is a dark sky park, so they minimize light outside, so bring a flashlight to help walk to and from your cabin when it is dark. My biggest complaint was the heater situation, it took us 3 nights to figure out it. After freezing and then waking up super-hot, I think we finally figured out that the numbers on the heater don’t mean anything and it’s a art to finding the perfect temperate. Still, because of the location, I would pick staying in the cabins if I visited Bryce again.
