The park is amazing! We stayed in the Sunrise Lodge. The rooms were large and clean with good amenities. We had our own porch with a seating area. Our stay was worth a five but the dining options lowered the score to a four. The dining room only offered a buffet. The 3 main lunchtime entrees were over cooked (burned or dry). Breakfast buffet was a bit better. There were several people on the wait staff but very few diners. A small coffee shop by the lodge is no longer open. There is a camp store at the park but it is only open until 4:00. There are only a few dining options outside of the park. Come prepared with your own food and stay at one of the lodges.

We stayed in one of the western cabins for 3 nights. The location cannot be beat, all the hikes we took we walked to from our cabin, no need to hope for parking spots at a trail head. I am a clean freak, and while I wish some of the nook and crannies were a little cleaner, it is a cabin after all, and everything that mattered was spotless. Bathrooms were very clean and the beds were clean with no signs of bed bugs (they also use mattress protectors, which I appreciate). The cabins are connecting, so there at times you could hear your neighbor, while this wasn’t too bad for us, it would really be a luck of the draw based on the neighbors you have. I really liked how the cabin had a sink in the bathroom with the shower and toilet, but it also had an additional room with a large sink and vanity. This made it easy for us to get ready in the morning, allowed for more storage for our toiletries, and a more hygienic way of getting water for our hikes. Bryce Canyon is a dark sky park, so they minimize light outside, so bring a flashlight to help walk to and from your cabin when it is dark. My biggest complaint was the heater situation, it took us 3 nights to figure out it. After freezing and then waking up super-hot, I think we finally figured out that the numbers on the heater don’t mean anything and it’s a art to finding the perfect temperate. Still, because of the location, I would pick staying in the cabins if I visited Bryce again.

We arrived early to check in, so I left my name and number with a gentleman at the front desk who assured me I'd be called when our room was ready. After not hearing by 3:30, I went up to the front desk and was told our room was ready. I was repeatedly asked if I had reserved a king room to the point that I asked why she was asking me about me reserving a king room. She said she was just making sure....odd. To my surprise, all the rooms are in buildings outside the main lodge so you drive to a parking lot near your building to access your room. The room was spacious enough and clean, with no tv, which is standard in the national park hotels. The building is close enough to walk to both sunrise and sunset points within 10 minutes. The only real draw for staying here is the access for anyone who wants to see the sunrise and sunset points; other than that, there is no real draw, certainly not the restaurant, which I have reviewed separately.

There was a snowstorm and a couple mentioned they were canceling their room so the super friendly front desk staff worked with us to transfer the room. We were thrilled to stay in the park. The hotel room was large and it had a balcony. Parking was not close so dragging the bags through the snow was a bit of a challenge.

We stayed in the cabins. You pay for the location not the accommodations here. The cabin had 2 queen beds which takes up most of the room. The rooms are dark and don’t have Wi-Fi, cell service or TV. It was clean but old. It’s a great place for 1 night. I wouldn’t want to stay any longer.

Bryce Canyon is just a wonderful place to visit. The lodge itself is recently updated. The rooms were very comfortable. The food choices in the lodge were great. We had dinner and breakfast there and they did a great job. The service and the people behind the counter, very willing to help an expert at what they do.

National Park lodges are part of history. Just enjoy them for what they are, average food average rooms average service. To counter this they are full of history, great locations and imposing buildings. If you want modern and sanitised don’t bother coming.

This is a national park lodge, so we knew to expect limited amenities, poor Wi-Fi, etc. We stayed in the Sunrise Lodge on the second floor. Room was clean and bed was ok. We had a nice little balcony that we took advantage of in the evening. Ice machine in lodge was out of order, so had to walk to main lodge just to get a bucket of ice.The advantage to staying here, of course, is the access to the rim trail and hiking. We liked that a lot! Only ate in the lodge restaurant one evening and one morning while we were there, as the food was horrible and overpriced! Good choice if you are hiking …..

The reservation system handoff between Foreverresorts and Aramark is seriously flawed. I made reservations for Bryce Canyon Lodge in Nov 2022 and had to cancel them in Mar 2023. This was all done online in foreverresorts system, not through a third-party. Now, Aramark has no record of reservations or cancellation in their system. I sent my documentation to Aramark customer service asking for my deposit to be refunded. I'm amazed how poorly the handoff between companies has been. I recommend checking that your reservations exist in Aramark’s system well before your arrival date.
