International Bucharest City Centre Hotel

The hotel is located close to the center of Bucharest, in a calm and safe area, in around 10 mins walking to the closest metro line. The bus which goes directly to the airport stops nearby as well. Close to the hotel is located a Carrefour supermarket and several restaurants + an embankment full with bars. The staff is super friendly, helpful and speaking good English. The rooms are spacious and clean, with new quit AC and everyday the housekeeping is leaving new towels, tea, shampoos. There're two lifts, a restaurant where the breakfast is served and also a viewpoint. The breakfast is delicious and diverse, but it's the same every day. Several kinds of sausages, omelette, coffee, juices, croissants, jams, cornflakes, etc. Definitely recommend if you're on a business trip.

Rude staff. I ask for an extra towel. They provide only 1. The lady from the recipetion told me that the found only 1 towel. There were 2 towels for sure. I ask to speak with the manger. 17:30 it's too late. Speak with him tomorrow. I ask for towel with deposit till tomorrow- no. It's your problem.

The bed sheets were never changed in the seven days we stayed in. We knew this because accidentally we stained a pillowcase, and the same pillowcase was still there throughout our stay. Several times I had to go to the reception to ask for coffee sachets, which were supposed to be replenished every day. Once I even had to ask for toilet paper. One day, the cleaners didn't do our room, and they claimed that I switched on the 'non-disturb'. This was not true, not even accidentally, because this is a manual switch (as in the photo provided) and can only be reset from inside of the room. The switch was still off when I entered the room in the evening. At the breakfast restaurant, we noticed that not every guest is treated the same. When we asked for something that was not available in the breakfast table, our request was turned down, but not the same when a man wearing a suite and a tie asked for something similar. We felt that guests are treated according to whom they are. I noticed another Italian couple who shared the same opinion as us.

Firstly this is not a 4* hotel. This is probably a 2 or 3 at a push. I booked this for 7 nights through ******* for a executive double with city view (if you’re going to book this hotel, book though them as you’re protected. First day I checked in to the hotel, thought it was weird that our room was on the 5th floor, strange for a city view. I get up to the room and the key doesn’t work for the room. Back down the lift and already 3 people waiting with the same issue. Get back up to my room again, enter and looks like something from the early 2000s, marked walls and furniture. Also this is a standard room with no bath unlike the booking suggested. Went back downstairs and the receptionist said this was a executive room. Yeah ok, thought I’d let it slide and just make the most it it. Went out through the day, came back and thought I’d see what the restaurant was like. Restaurant was open from 7-10pm. Half 8 and it was closed, In fact, this wasn’t even open the whole evening. Asked for some water and they couldn’t give me it. Used the water in the mini fridge. Day 2 key didn’t work again, mini fridge wasn’t re stocked and bar and restaurant shut again. No water supplied, already eaten out so didn’t need the food. Day 3 key didn’t work again, mini fridge wasn’t restocked, just to add, air con is also absolutely crap. Restaurant was open but not for food, got some nice wine. Had already got water today from the shop so didn’t need that. Day 4 key didn’t work again, mini fridge hasn’t restocked again, after a long day out, walking 12 miles in total around, all I needed was a nice glass of wine and some water. RESTAURANT CLOSED! they wouldn’t even get us a glass of water or fill up the damn mini fridge. This was it, I contacted ******* and explained the situation, they spoke to reception once and were advised to call back Monday, called again and was told they couldn’t supply us with our room as the floor was taken for a party. They basically downgraded us to make room for a party and didn’t think to tell us, rather just lie. 3 days left so left the hotel and went to the crown plaza, a real 4* hotel. I sit here with a glass of wine writing this review,l. Hotel is not very well ran, it’s on its way out, please don’t stay here unless you’re happy with a bed and breakfast with a crappy night sleep Avoid like the plague. Ps before I leave breakfast was reliable, basic as anything but it was always open.

Hotel situato nelle vicinanze del centro di Bucarest che si può facilmente raggiungere a piedi. Comodissimo il fatto di avere il parcheggio per chi arriva in auto. Camere molto spaziose e pulite, nel bagno c'è anche il bidet che raramente si trova fuori dall'Italia. Colazione discreta tra dolce (forse poco) e salato (abbondante). Prezzo buono tenendo conto che siamo nella capitale. Consigliato.

Muy buena opción en Bucarest, a 20 minutos del centro histórico. Habitaciones cómodas y funcionales. Desayuno muy bueno y variado. Camas muy cómodas y baño muy bien equipado. Y tiene ascensor, cuidado, en Rumania hay muchos hoteles sin ascensor.

Hotel bene posizionato, in una zona della città tranquilla, fuori dal caos ma comunque vicina al centro tutto etico che dista circa 10 minuti a piedi. Struttura molto grande, che ricorda i fasti degli anni ‘80 ma in ogni caso accogliente. Tutta la struttura e le stanze sono molto tranquille e silenziose. La camera era veramente molto grande. Grande e molto comodo il letto; anche il bagno molto spazioso. La pulizia della stanza era buona, sono sempre passati a pulire e rifare la camera. La colazione non era super abbondante ma era comunque ben fornita.

Ho soggiornato per tre notti in questa struttura con una mia amica, inizio col dire che non è assolutamente una struttura da 4 stelle forse 3, camera molto grande con arredo antiquato, pulizia buona solo appena arrivate dato che dopo la prima notte non ci è stata rifatta la stanza. Fattolo presente giù alla reception ci è stato detto che avendo avuto la mattina tante camere in partenza non avevano avuto tempo di fare la stanza. Questa risposta ridicola non mi è mai capitata di sentirla neanche nella peggio bettola, non esiste che in un hotel per giunta presunto 4 stelle, che le camere non vengano rifatte. Ma non è finita qui perché il giorno dopo erano sì passati per diciamo rifare la stanza ma hanno solo tirato su il piumino del primo letto, il secondo non si sa perché non è stato fatto e cambiato gli asciugamani, bagno lasciato sporco, lavandino e sanitari non pulito e cestino non vuotati. Credono che abbiano molto da imparare in questi paesi cosa vuol dire ospitalità e rispetto del cliente dato che non ci hanno regalato il soggiorno, chi paga pretende dei servizi logici tra l'altro. Cordialità inesistente, in più avevamo chiesto di cambiare il bollitore che non funzionava e non è mai stato sostituito. Colazione discreta ma con poca scelta di prodotti dolci. Altro che quattro stelle. Sconsigliato.
