Hotel Minerva

We stayed in the hotel recently 2 times while having a trip in Romania, the second time was 2 days after we checked out the first time. We are a family of 6 - even though the hotel confirmed they have a big enough apartment that will be ready for six, in reality in both times the room was set for 4. On the first time the team tried their best to help even though the required person was in sick leave. On the second time I had to argue with the reception guy - who was very unpleasant and unwilling to help. Only after showing him the confirmation email for the 2 other beds, he said ok, tomorrow he will call the manager to check what to do - again I had to argue that he should help today.... Bottom line... The hotel is descent, the service is very poor. The breakfast is ok. The lobby bar is constantly closed, so no bar at the lobby. The room (so called apartment) was not big enough for a family of 6, as they claimed when I made the reservation. For 4 it is ok, but ot is not an apartment, it is a room with 2 separate bedrooms, that's it. We will not come back there.

Terrible, the worst exeperiece and the biggest scam I've ever had related to a hotel. There is a 2 stars hotel (dirty inside), not 4 stars... I've made my booking via *********** but the hotel didn't receive it. So, I had to wait for about 1h, in the middle of the night. At Minerva's Hotel reception, there was an old man, not so polite, tired and bored of his work. He told me "I can't make your appointment in our system", even though I showed him my confirmation from ***********, so in the end I had to make in addition another booking at Minerva's reception, which means another 75 EUR. So in total I've paid the reservation twice, 150 EUR). Next morning, I asked again at their reception if there is any confirmation for my booking, but the answer was short and dry "NO!". More than that, we've paid 20 EUR for breakfast, for me and my colleague. You can see below the horrible food they have. I stayed here as part of a tour and while the room was comfortable, I think two nights was enough. I managed to flood the bathroom while taking a shower and I have no idea how as the shower panel was in place, it seems like maybe they were expecting that as their is a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor. Unfortunately I did not foresee this and ended up getting my towels and clothes which I had left on the floor soaked. I stuck to the bath after that! Breakfast also wasn't great, the food was okay, pretty standard but they clearly could not cope with the amount of guests that were staying in the hotel. It was really difficult both mornings to either find somewhere to sit or find clean plates, cups etc. The bed was comfortable and I did sleep well. The wi-fi was good. This was also the first hotel I'd stayed in with a kettle. Tea bags & coffee were provided but no milk. However there is a fridge in the room, so you could buy your own and store it there. The location of this hotel is about a 30 min walk to old town. Overall pretty standard accommodation.

We were put in this hotel as our flight was cancelled,supposed four star but very dated & more like two star,staff were ok,room smelt of unwashed bed & people,no window to open & air on didn’t appear to work so room was very hot, bathroom very small thank goodness we were only there for a few hours,Fitness centre closed so some of group not happy,breakfast ok but not out of this world & basic,we wouldn’t want to stay again.

Orribile. Camera 203 piena di polvere, vecchia e rumorosa. Sembra di dormire direttamente per strada non siamo riusciti a dormire né di notte di giorno per via del forte rumore. Quasi non respiri da quanta polvere vi è all'interno della stanza moquetta da buttare immediatamente! All'interno ristorante solo cinese...ma scherziamo ?!?

Des services très insuffisants. Le robinet du lavabo de la salle de bain était mal fixé et avait l'eau chaude et l'eau froide inversées. Le plein de café et de thé n'était pas fait systématiquement lorsque la chambre était faite. Internet était inaccessible pendant 4 jours sur 5. Selon les réceptionnistes, c'était à cause du grand nombre de clients. Dans les faits, il n'y a pas assez de relais pour assurer la couverture de tout l'hôtel et je perdais le signal en arrivant dans ma chambre. Je l'ai signalé quotidiennement à la réception, mais rien n'a été fait. J'ai juste eu à chaque fois comme réponse des différents réceptionnistes qu'ils en avaient parlé à leur collègue. Ça ne résout pas vraiment le problème. La salle à manger pour le petit déjeuner a une capacité insuffisante lorsqu'il y a des groupes (et il y en a souvent). Le personnel est en nombre insuffisant dans ces cas là et incapable d'assurer le service. Hôtel à éviter absolument lors d'un déplacement professionnel.

Το δωμάτιο δίκλινο αλλά με δύο ξεχωριστά, μέτρια κρεβάτια ενωμένα. Η πρώτη εντύπωση ήταν ότι είναι καθαρό Η υπηρεσία της καθαριότητας όμως δεν πέρασε την δεύτερη μέρα. Ευτυχώς πέρασε την τρίτη μέρα αλλά δεν έπλυνε ποτήρια. Αρκέστηκε στο να πετάξει τα σκουπίδια και να στρώσει τα κρεβάτια. Η θέρμανση είναι κεντρική αλλά δούλευε ελάχιστα για κάποιες άσχετες ώρες. Ευτυχώς υπάρχει air condition. Η εξυπηρέτηση στο εστιατόριο είναι για τα κλάματα. Οι σερβιτόροι γνωρίζουν μόνο ρουμάνικα και η ποιότητα του φαγητού κάτω του μετρίου... Το πρωινό δεν είχε καν ψωμί. Έκοβαν κάποιες φέτες τοστ σε τριγωνακια και οι πελάτες αγωνίζονταν να αλλοίψουν μια φέτα.. Υπήρχαν ελάχιστα είδη. Κάποια σαλάμια, κασέρια και αυγά μάτια. Το σερβίρισμα γινότανε με το σταγονόμετρο μήπως και κόψουν καμιά φέτα παραπάνω. .. Απλώς αδυνατούν να προσφέρουν φαγητό. Δεν το προτείνω για διαμονή ...
