Staff were very welcoming and able to assist with any questions I had. Made sure to inform me about opening and closing times in the city with Covid restrictions. The hotel offers a breakfast which looks lovely however I did not have time for this. Checked out at around 3am to to go the airport and this was quick and easy. Room was comfortable and very spacious. Had a minibar, TV, hairdryer and a wardrobe to hang clothes in if needed. Has hearing and air conditioning too which is great. Great overall experience and would recommend anyone to try it out if visiting Bucharest!

Sono arrivata giorno 4/12/2022 in hotel e la stanza presentava dei peli e della sporcizia generale, ho tralasciato ciò… Il giorno dopo nessuno mi ha pulito la stanza tuttavia sono entrate le signorina della pulizia a buttare la “spazzatura”, hanno buttato un box di scarpe appena comprate che erano necessarie per la vendita. Il giorno seguente ho esplicitamente chiesto di pulire la stanza, ma hanno cambiato solo le lenzuola senza cambiarmi gli asciugamani, che ho dovuto richiedere più e più volte. Il penultimo giorno sono entrate in stanza di nuovo per le pulizie le quali non hanno assolutamente pulito o ordinato i letti o la stanza ma hanno RUBATO una borsa, io in buona fede ho pensato che l’avessero buttata, essendo caduta per terra, sono andata alla reception dove mi hanno detto che loro non hanno visto nessuna borsa. Sono veramente sconvolta, è altamente grave che vengano a rubare nelle stanze. Se ci fosse stata dentro la carta d’identità sarebbe stato un enorme disagio per me, trovandomi in un paese che non conosco e dovendo tornare in italia. La colazione è rumena, senza possibilità di dolci o di cornetti, senza poter bere un cappuccino o un caffè, ma solo un caffè annacquato dentro il bollitore del tè. Mi hanno fatto pagare 20€ per degli asciugamani sporchi, come se li avessi dovuti pulire io! Il personale non è scortese ma non ho belle parole per descriverli, data la mia rabbia, sono veramente delusa, dato che le recensioni non erano male. SCONSIGLIATO

We mistake for old town & uptown , location was 35mins ++ walking distance to city & old-town & all day-tour pick up point . Quiet place for sleeping. We ordered airport pick up , the Driver nice & good , his drop us and open the lobby door for us , take the room keys in letter box for us and explain where ours lot . feel good ( around 22:00pm local times)… .. after in ours apartment, look new and tidy inside , but we can’t find any brief-notes for WiFi passwords, even found the modem , password was chance !! so thinking paid for roaming , ( Vodafone get in data ) , work only few second than died line all night till morning even walk around at city . ( choose Orange will more better). Service or Staff ? We stay four nights, none seen one . The window & balcony full of dust . By the end, if you’re self drive tourist is ok to stay here .

When I arrived at Hotel Tranzzit there was absolutely nobody manning the desk. Granted, it was around 11pm, but the website lists no set check-in time limit (just that it begins at 2pm). I waited around 45 mins for someone to show up, and the person who did arrive was not very friendly or communicative. After some back and forth I was told that they had no record of my booking — however I had just received a phone call from them the day before (no message left) so they definitely had my information. The night receptionist showed me the personal information of everyone else staying there to ask if I was staying with those guests, which seemed like a breach of privacy. He asked if I had paid yet, and I said no, but he gave me the keys and let me into the room without paying. Very strange check-in experience. Overall, the room was not bad. Unfortunately I was in the room directly beside reception and you can hear absolutely everything, so I was awoken every day by the phone ringing or people chatting. The daytime receptionists were very friendly although did not speak English, and I made sure to pay for my stay in the morning. My room had one large bed, a closet, a bathroom, a window to an outdoor seating area, and a television — although I never tried the TV as you could hear everything from the lobby and vice versa. No hot water on the first day but the second day was fine. Soap and shower gel is included in the bathroom. No fridge or kettle in the room but there is a kitchen. Breakfast is not included but one coffee per day is allowed if you ask the reception to prepare it. Wi-fi is uncharacteristically spotty for Romania and would connect and disconnect every minute or so. The great thing about this place is not only price but location. You are only around 8 mins from Gara de Nord and there is a laundromat on the way as well. Lots of Mega Image grocery stores nearby and even a nice park. Metro, etc. are all located conveniently. It's very easy to walk to the Old City and the area with the Atheneum. Overall, I didn't hate my stay here. It was a bit awkward and strange but the daytime receptionists were very sweet and feigned being impressed with my almost-non-existent Romanian, hahaha. I would stay here again for one or two nights if I was travelling by train.

The position of this hotel is excellent. Close to the Old Center, the Art Museum, the Athenaeum, the Old Center, the Universitate metro station, The staff is very nice, kind, hospitable and helpful from all points of view. The room has facilities such as air conditioning, refrigerator, water heater, tea, coffee, sugar.The only problem is that the rooms no longer look as they are in the pictures,The pictures were probably taken a few years ago, because now they don't look like that anymore in the sense that now everything is a bit outdated.
