I stayed at this hotel for four days, and I've grown quite fond of it. I found the transportation incredibly convenient, especially if you're planning to leave Hungary by train to your next city, as the train station (Keleti pályaudvar) is right at your doorstep. For daily commutes, you'll mainly rely on subway transfers. However, I must mention that this area, being Keleti, doesn't feel as safe as other parts of the city. It can get a bit chaotic at night, especially on the streets to the right of the hotel, which are often quite deserted. I had their breakfast here, and unfortunately, I never got to try their stir-fried noodles; it was stir-fried rice every day. I heard they used to have amazing stir-fried noodles. They generally offer yogurt, fruits, cheese, and various dishes, though the bread selection isn't extensive. Overall, I think this hotel is quite good. Their hospitality and service are also commendable; when I first arrived, I rested in their lobby, and they provided water and fruit. Room service was decent too!

I'd call this hotel the best value for money throughout my entire European trip. First off, the location is super convenient, right by the train station – you practically step out and you're there. And the 4-star service is absolutely genuine; the rooms are incredibly spacious, tidy, and clean. The best part is how affordable it is, even cheaper than some 4-star hotels in certain cities back home.

it was really nice of the staff, especially when they heard that it was cold in the room and the heater didn't work very well, the staff sent someone to fix it and gave us an extra heater! He was really nice and friendly. Breakfast was also good.

Extremely close to the train station yet surprisingly quiet, this hotel is a must-stay for anyone traveling by train in Hungary. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the heating was excellent, a welcome warmth in winter that was a pleasant surprise as it was the only room with a radiator during my two-week European trip. I was very satisfied. Breakfast offered a good variety, including an Asian food section. Although the miso soup might be more tailored for Koreans, I was very pleased with the hotel's thoughtful arrangements overall.

This hotel is great if you're just passing through, as it's conveniently located near Keleti train station. However, it's a bit far from the city center. Luckily, Budapest has excellent public transport. We bought a 24-hour pass, so it only took about 20 minutes to get downtown. The room itself was pretty standard and very clean. But I have to mention the noise issue. I specifically chose a room with no view, not facing the busy main street. Yet, the inner courtyard was still noisy, and I particularly disliked the humming sound of machinery. Honestly, car noise would have been preferable. So, if you're sensitive to noise, I highly recommend checking it out beforehand. The front desk strongly recommended adding breakfast, and at 17 euros per person, it wasn't overpriced. It saved us the hassle of finding a restaurant early in the morning, and the variety was excellent. I definitely recommend trying it!

Its out of the heart if bydapest. Knly thing good is the metro and train station is right there. Its def not a 4 star hotel. Ive stated at many 4 and 5 star resorts in thenlast 2 weeks in vienna, prague, bratislava and Stuttgart and paris and this is 2 1/2 stars to 3 at best.

The hotel is very well located walking distance from all transportation that you might need. The staff were very helpful and allowed early check in as I arrived 10.00 a.m.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Danubius Hotel Hungaria City Center. The location was perfect — close to the city center and very convenient for public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again on my next visit to Budapest!

Room was spacious but male staff and people we don’t know tried to come into our room. Their is a little balcony -＞ very noisy road siren sounds. You must have earplugs on to get some sleep. Don’t recommend too much. Unbelievably noisy at night

The rooms are great, the hotel is large, and the breakfast is abundant, making it perfect for a family trip. It's a chain hotel conveniently located near Budapest Keleti Railway Station. You can easily take the metro or tram to any part of the city from here. Metro Line 2 goes directly to the city center and Fisherman's Bastion.

The hotel's location near the station is very convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly, and there are plenty of Chinese restaurants nearby, offering a good variety of dining options. The room itself felt quite new overall, and it was cleaned daily.

Great staff service on check-in. Cleanliness could be better as daily room cleaning just included bed and bathroom organization, but not cleaned. The room wasn't even vacuumed. Noisy as the neighbouring room doors made loud squeaky noise.

Regarding hygiene and facilities: The shower hose in the bathroom was leaking, and the water pressure was very low. After staying two nights, I decided it wasn't worth it. Regarding noise: There were many students on the floor I was staying on. On the first night, they were banging on doors frantically and speaking an incomprehensible language. I reported it to the front desk due to safety concerns. Although there was still some knocking that night, and a strange siren went off on the third morning, I did see security on our floor on the second night, so safety wasn't a concern. Future guests who prioritize safety can choose this hotel, but if you're a light sleeper, the noise truly makes it impossible to rest. Ambiance: The environment is good, and the location is very convenient, but this also makes the hotel very noisy, and the windows were drafty.
