Hotel berhampiran Makovecz Imre emléktábla, Budapest

Hotel is easy reachable by car and has very good connectivity within 5-10 min walk (bus, tram and metro). Interior is cosy and colourful, breakfast is decent, rooms are nice. Perhaps we missed a shelf in bathroom. The only thing that I really didn't understand is price policy and relatively big difference between the price we paid and price advertised on the screen in the lobby. Parking fee of 10€/day could also be included in room rate.

Das Hotel wurde vor kurzen renoviert und ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt im Stadtteil „Buda“, um die vielzähligen Sehenswürdigkeiten von Budapest zu entdecken. Die Fischerbastei, der Burgpalast und die Kettenbrücke können in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreicht werden. Über die Kettenbrücke erreicht man übrigens auch rasch den anderen Stadtteil „Pest“ auf die andere Seite der Donau. Das Personal im Hotel war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstück wurde auf meine Vorlieben individuell eingegangen, es wurde eine großzügige Käse- und Salamiplatte mit Brot angeboten, dazu und ein Omlett mit Tomaten – der Cappuccino schmeckte auch sehr gut. Es gibt eine geräumige Tiefgarage, was sehr wichtig war, da es im Zentrum ansonsten nicht einfach zu parken ist. Von meinem Zimmer im 6. Stock hatte ich vom Balkon einen beeindruckenden Ausblick auf die Fischerbastei, die Kettenbrücke und die hübsche Basilika auf der anderen Seite der Donau. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt und ich komme gerne wieder!!!

The hotel is conveniently located very close to public transportation. The tram is right across the street and the Metro station just a short walk away. You can also walk across to the other side of town where all the stores and restaurants are by using the Chain Bridge. However the bridge was closed for pedestrians last month, not sure if it is now open. Our room was a good size and we had a beautiful view of the Danube river and the Parliament. The small balcony outside our window needed to be cleaned though, as there were spider webs everywhere. Realized that after I stuck my head outside to look at the view.. You can also look outside the window in the hallway when you get off the elevators. It has a nice view of the castle at night. Bathroom was fine, there was a nice bathtub with a nice shower but I found the bathtub very high and it took me extra effort to climb in and out. Never had that problem before but for some reason this tub was not easy to climb into. The breakfast had many yummy choices. There were not many changes in what they offered everyday, but still they had many choices and also many different coffees you could prepare on the machine. Front desk staff were cordial and one young man in particular was very helpful with everything that we needed. I don't remember his name but he was in his 30s I believe with a goatie. All in all we enjoyed our stay! The only thing we wished is that this hotel had a pool, but oh well!

Stayed 5 nights for a conference with 3 other colleagues. Quaint hotel that looks its age. Had very friendly and helpful staff handling check in/out. Had taken a suite, but it was rather small. Main door opened into an anteroom with 2 internal doors - 1 of which led into bedroom (just enough space for a double bed with 2 small side tables). The other door led into a small living room (space for dressing table, couch, TV, and a small round table with a chair). Bathroom is a little dim. Breakfast buffet had standard ham and cheese cuts, scrambled eggs, breads, cereals, fruits - repeated daily. Noticed the staff change the cutlery after each dinner, but the placemats on the table is not changed. Location is excellent with nearby train and bus station leading to all major attractions. Also have supermarkets nearby.

I recently stayed at the easyHotel in Budapest and I must say that it was a great experience. The hotel’s location is truly exceptional as it is located within walking distance to the city centre and the Heroes’ Square. Moreover, it is also conveniently close to the metro line 1 and the tram lines 4 and 6, which makes it incredibly easy to get to all of the city’s attractions. The hotel itself has everything necessary for a comfortable and cheap stay in Budapest. The rooms are compact but clean and have all the essential amenities, including a comfortable bed and a private bathroom. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. Another great perk of staying at the easyHotel is the free tea and cheap coffee available at the reception. This is a nice touch that adds to the overall value of the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend the easyHotel in Budapest. It offers a great location, comfortable rooms, and excellent value for money.

The hotel is amazing. its locates central in Budapest, near of bus, tram, metro. 5 min walking you can reach plenty of attraction and you can walk over the bridges to go to buda side. (We used no public transport, we were only on food because all was not far away. The room was very good, daily cleaning, with a kettle to make your own coffee. It was big enough, not loud, with TV with international Programms. Bathroom was big and always warm water. TIP: for 20Euro pro preson you can book dinner at hotel whicht is served on the Matula Restaurant, direct opposite of the hotel. That was excellent for us because we arrived late at hotel, we were tired and we could have our dinner there (appetizer, main course and dessert) all was traditional dishes! If i come back to Budapest, i would book Marmara hotel again!

I stayed at the ibis Budapest Stadium Hotel for 2 nights on a business trip. The hotel is located next to the Groupama Arena and is conveniently located near the Nepliget metro station (2 minute walk). The hotel itself is modern and clean and the staff at reception were professional and polite. The Room (675) was basic (no tea/coffee making facilities etc) but modern and clean, the bed was comfortable and the WIFI was good. In the bathroom there is only a shower with Shower gel/shampoo provided, once again very modern and clean. The breakfast was a vast selection of meats, eggs, breads, cereals etc and was of good quality. The staff at breakfast were friendly and polite. Overall, I would say this was a very nice hotel to stay at. As it is a New Hotel there are no signs of wear and tear which makes the stay more pleasant. I would definitely consider staying here again if I was in Budapest.

What a gorgeous hotel . The hotel’s location is excellent, a few minutes walk to the bus station and train. The room were very comfortable and stylish. I love the toilet amenities (shampoo, body wash), I like the smell. We will definitely be back again next time we come to Budapest, next time we will bring our toothpaste and slippers. lol

Our daughter booked us this hotel as part of a 3 night trip to Budapest as a Christmas gift. After visiting Budapest herself, she thought we’d love it so booked us the trip. I don’t normally write reviews, but I thought the hotel had been served an injustice with lots of the other reviews we’d read. We’d read lots that said it was in an awful and unsafe area. The hotel is on a side street, in a city away from the centre, no different to any side street in a city we’d seen before. We saw one homeless person in a doorway, and sometimes people gathered chatting outside the Spar shop at the top of the road, and the other shops…not much of a problem. We didn’t feel unsafe or find the street to be noisy. You are a little bit out of the centre, but the bus stop and metro are conveniently located just around the corner. We used the bus which was very cheap, or free, as sometimes we were just waved on. Once inside our room we heard very little noise, from within the hotel itself, or from the road outside…only the occasional siren. The towels and sheet’s were good, and the room clean, pillows also nice quality and extras in the wardrobe. Room a comfortable temperature. The beds are low to the ground, and the mattresses firmer than we are used to, but after a 12 hour day sightseeing, and a few cocktails/beers we slept reasonably well. Little ******s with the room, a kettle with tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice for a morning cuppa before heading out. There is a small bar in the reception area where you could get coffee though, and plenty of cafes on the main street. The hairdryer overheated quite quickly and cut out. But only minor issues. The staff were not particularly chatty (us Brits love a chat!) however, helpful and courteous when needed. All in all a good stay and a good base to explore…what do you do from a hotel room? For us to sleep and shower 🤷🏻‍♀️ Budapest is an amazing city, so much to see and do, we absolutely loved exploring, enjoy!

It's more than twenty minutes' walk from the train station. The curtain in the bathroom goes over your body when you take a shower. The good part is the bed is big, there's a balcony.
