The WiFi is horrible. The hotel is very very old. Like a museum.

Единственный плюс, это удобная кровать с белоснежным бельем. Все остальное тянет только на 3, а сервис вообще на 1. Холл красивый, снаружи здание выглядит антуражно, а внутри, на этажах ужасно🙉. Лифты старые, но можно ведь как-то подреставрировать. На этаже все обшарпанное. В номере нет ни тапочек, ни халатов, ни чайника и даже воды нет. Холодильник пустой! Сыро, запах как будто к бабушке в деревню приехала. Какие 5 звезд?! Вы о чем?! Полотенце в ванной сверху лежало серое, потрепаное с нитками🤦♀️. Заселилась поздно ночью, спустилась вниз попросить воды. Мне принесли маленькую бутылочку и сказали, что это будет стоить 1800 аргентинских песо😡! Завтраки не брала, но на следующее утро решила попробовать. Спросила на ресепшене, можно ли? Да, конечно, без проблем. Выбор скудный. Только скрамбл и бекон из горячего. Выпечка не очень🥴. Как только я села за стол, ко мне прибежала девушка и спросила номер, потом начала трясти передо мной бумажками и говорить о том, что у меня не предусмотрены завтраки. Я спокойно ответила, что я в курсе. Она стала писать цену, но я уже знала. 20450 песо. Она убежала, но потом опять примчалась с чеками, чтобы я подписала. Это вообще нормально для такого уровня отеля?! Как будто я убегу и не расплачусь! Завтрак был испорчен и настроение тоже. Каково же было мое удивление, когда при check-in мне выдали счет на 61 тысячу песо😡😡😡! Что это было, я не знаю. Но потом девушка просила, сколько раз я завтракала?! Вы вообще там отдельно друг от друга работаете?! Безобразие! В соседнем отеле в 3 звезды такого ужаса не было! Спокойно позавтракала, только записали номер комнаты и всё. При выезде спокойно рассчиталась. Оставляла чемодан на пару дней, и только потом прочитала отзывы о кражах. Переживала, но спасибо 🙏 все нормально обошлось. Ни в коем случаем не бронзируйте этот отель, рядом есть другие подороже и подешевле, но точно лучше!

No doubt once a good hotel - the bones are still there but clearly there has been no maintenance for years, everything chipped, stained and worn. To call it tired would be overly kind. Well located but there are much better options. Stay somewhere else

Old and run down. Rooms quite hot and a/c loud and ineffective. At one stage yellow liquid was coming out of the shower which then stained my towel (and I assume me)! Breakfast in hotel far too expensive and very poor selection. Staff do their best but really a hopeless task to lift this hotel above the dismal experience it offers.

The bones are good but the hotel needs a major refurbishment. Overall, it’s far from being a 5star hotel. Tiny fridge in the room, no mini bar, international channels not working, wifi in the room not working, hair drier not working. The bathroom is super small and just old. Noisy air conditioning. Pool area looks like motel style. Carpet in the common areas is old. Reception staff is friendly and speaks English but waitresses at the bar do not. Breakfast is average. It’s close to shops but this part of town is noisy and dirty.

The outside of the hotel promises so much, but sadly this, undoubtedly, once lovely hotel needs a lot of upgrading to make it the 4, let alone 5, star hotel it claims to be. Somehow The Claridge perfectly reflects the rundown surroundings in Calle Tucuman. Whilst the public areas are pleasant enough with a touch of English nostalgia, the bedrooms are just shabby rather than shabby-chic: paintwork was dirty and damaged, white ware in the bathrooms had been ‘repainted ’and looked grubby and chipped, bed linen was stained; there were no bathrobes or slippers; the ‘seasonal' pool opens for only two months at the end of December; breakfast was adequate, but the waiting staff were completely apathetic. If there is anything positive to say about The Claridge it is that: 1) the hotel is within walking distance of many of the local tourist sights, attractions, and shops. However, the near-by streets are also noisy and dirty, with a sex-shop directly opposite the hotel entrance. 2) the reception staff were indeed very helpful, given the mixup with our Bookings.Com reservation. We just felt somewhat let down after a wonderful trip to South America that one of our last memories should be so overwhelmingly average.

LA PEOR EXPERIENCIA, EN UN LUGAR CON LAVABOS SUCIOS Y COMIDA FRIA. El camarero y el encargado han intentado timarme. Pague la cuenta y el camarero se lleva el dinero sin contarlo, regresa a los dos minutos y me dice que faltan 5.000 pesos, yo confiado pago, pero como me quedo con la duda cuento el dinero ya que los únicos pesos que tenia los había cambiado justo antes de entrar (llevaba Euros) y efectivamente me faltaban 5.000 pesos, cuando los reclamo soy maltratado por el camarero y el encargado, de mala manera el encargado le dice al camarero págale y que se marche de aquí. NO LO RECOMIENDO

The worst hotel I’ve ever been in my entire life. Offered as a five-star hotel, it can’t barely be considered a two-star. No internet in the rooms. Filthy and torn carpets, dirty walls and doors, is just the beginning of being tricked into this “five-star” hotel.

Stayed here during Christmas and also celebrating a big birthday. This hotel is far from 5 stars to start with my mom's phone got stolen during breakfast. You have to check in before they allow you into the room. It's very suspicious and they were completely unhelpful. Seemed like they do this quite often and it's an inside thing. Did not feel safe at all. Will never return and I hope people read these reviews before they book!

I left my luggage in the hotel reception while the room was not yet available (check in only available in the afternoon) and got out to do some sightseeing in the city. Later, came back to the hotel only to discover my backpack missing… the only 3 cameras in the hotel did not cover the room with the luggage nor its entrance… The episode in itself showed total lack of care with the guests’ belongings. Additionally the way the staff handled the situation was not professional at all and did not show any commitment in trying to solve the problem (to this day, are ignoring my emails about the insurance cover). Besides the theft issue, wifi does not work, breakfast is not nearly worth the price… do not stay at this hotel.

Lo pasamos muy bien en el te lirico del Claridge! La atención y la música excelente. Un repertorio de arias conocidas con buenos interpretes.El hotel está reciclado y luce muy confortable. Un ambiente agradable para festejar y compartir la magia de la opera.
