Maybe I am being too hard on this hotel but it's not a 4-Star hotel by any means. The only pros I can give this hotel is the location and the style inside. Otherwise, I cannot recommend this at all. First, the breakfast is a joke. Next, the service isn't there. Third, housekeeping is not always cleaning your room. Even after I took the ”do not disturb” sign off and advised the front desk, the room was not cleaned a few days of my stay. When you ask for towels they tell you to come down to the front desk to get them yourself. Breakfast consists of runny eggs that don't get refilled and inedible pastries. When anything extra for the room is requested it is not fulfilled. The pool is small and there are no chairs by it - they are in a separate area which makes no sense. Not to mention my key stopped working a few times and an elevator broke while I was there. I would stay in this hotel for one night if you want to be in Recoleta and be walkable to a lot of different things and areas. However, I would say stay away. This hotel was a waste of money and I would stay far, far away from it.

This hotel has a great location. Two blocks from plaza San Martin and the red tourism bus stop #11. a very walkable with eateries, restaurants and convenience stores all within a block. Right next door is a nice church. The place is super clean and breakfast has a great many things to pick from. There is a pool on the 12th floor as well as a sauna and exercise room. Pool towels available in reception.

We had a very mixed experience at this hotel. The positives: spacious rooms with lofts and bed space for 5 people, nice big towels, breakfast available in your room for an additional fee, and a very central location. Also, the staff provided a recommendation for a nearby pizza restaurant/sports bar (La Alameda) that had the tastiest food we experienced in Argentina. Negatives: Our first room had a broken/unusable toilet and a deeply cracked mirror and we had to move to a different room. It is unclear why the management didn't know the toilet was broken before assigning guests to that room. Did the staff not clean it? Our second room was better, but the building appears to be very old and the decor is pretty much all concrete/industrial in theme. There is no carpet, no pictures on the walls, and the fit and finish of materials in the room was very bad. They seemed to be following a ”shabby chic” idea or maybe using all reclaimed materials - even the trash can was severely dented. The bathrooms in both rooms we saw were tiny. The in-room breakfast was very good the first day, but on the second day they had a problem with the elevator and everything was significantly delayed, to the point where we were worried we would not get breakfast before our tour that day. They also did not provide the omelette we had requested. Also, apparently we were supposed to wash all our breakfast dishes in the room each day, but no dish soap or towels were provided until I asked for them. There was no explanation about why. The location was noisy at times because it's right by the Avenue 9 de Julio, one of the biggest roads in Buenas Aires. When we paid for the breakfast, the hotel staff converted the amount we owed from pesos to dollars using the official rate and then charged it, instead of just charging us in pesos and letting the credit card convert it. The result was that we paid almost double what we were expecting, since our credit card usually converted pesos to dollars using a rate similar to the blue rate. The management refused to charge us in pesos, saying it's their policy to convert the rate themselves before charging it. That gives them more money, but it is a very bad deal for foreigners who are visiting their hotel. No other hotel or business in Argentina had this policy, so it was an unfortunate surprise for us. Foreigners should be aware of this policy.

The location of the hotel is incredible, making it close to everything. The attention from the employees is remarkable, they are simply excellent. The spaces are very careful, they combine the modern with the classic. A very rich breakfast is served with all the current Covid precautions, and not only at breakfast but in all spaces.

Buena ubicacion, cerca del centro, Plaza de Mayo, Palacio Barolo; SIN desayuno NI servicio a la habitacion NI estacionamiento, aunque hay un a media cuadra que hace un 10% de descuento en la estadia, hospedandote en el hotel. La limpieza es correcta, aunque en las dos noches que estuvimos, nadie vino a limpiar o cambiar las sabanas o toallas. Se nota que le falta mantenimiento (uno de los ascensores no andaba). Las habitaciones son grandes , las camas comodas, hay frigobar, pava electrica, microondas, TV, caja de seguridad y una zona de estar amplia. Recepcion las 24 hs.

Bastante cómodo, muy bien ubicado, amplio y sobre todo no especulan con el tema cambiario. Si pagas con tarjeta, el banco te devuelve algunos dólares al convertirlos a dólar turista (que es algo mejor que el dólar oficial). Puedes también pagar en efectivo en pesos.

Este Hotel se encuentra en una perfecta ubicación, en un barrio tranquilo, con supermercados, restaurantes en sus alrededores y lo más importante cerca de muchos puntos turístico, lo que permite llegar caminando a estos lugares. En relación a la habitación puedo decir que en general era bastante acogedora, solo encontré que era un poco oscura, el desayuno excelente, el personal muy amable y siempre dispuesto a responder y ayudar.

We picked this hotel based on the reviews and our Marriott platinum elite status. We had been in Argentina on vacation for 3 months and on our last night I wanted an “American” touch of home. Our stay was fantastic! We asked for a room in the newer tower and it was huge. The room was very clean, great water pressure and had a wonderful view of the obelisk. There was some street noise, but this is a big city, and that is to be expected. The staff was wonderful and although my husband is an Argentinian, they switched into English when they saw that I had a struggle with the language. The pool area had a view of the entire city, with a big, clean locker room to shower and kill time before our flight. Restaurant was great and the cocktail lounge even better.

Excelente hotel, muy buenas instalaciones, el desayuno muy completo, todo muy cómodo.
