We picked this hotel based on the reviews and our Marriott platinum elite status. We had been in Argentina on vacation for 3 months and on our last night I wanted an “American” touch of home. Our stay was fantastic! We asked for a room in the newer tower and it was huge. The room was very clean, great water pressure and had a wonderful view of the obelisk. There was some street noise, but this is a big city, and that is to be expected. The staff was wonderful and although my husband is an Argentinian, they switched into English when they saw that I had a struggle with the language. The pool area had a view of the entire city, with a big, clean locker room to shower and kill time before our flight. Restaurant was great and the cocktail lounge even better.

We arrived yesterday after a night flight… our tour company Condor Travel arranged for an early check in at 0830 am which was very helpful. The room is clean and has a great shower. Sadly the room noise from the air conditioning was very loud through the night. We can also hear the elevator… and I think the breakfast restaurant must be above us as we were woken up at approximately 4am with music… as we are returning shortly after a few days away… we will request a better room. The maintenance man was brilliant… we couldn’t get the safe to close or the air conditioning to work… we put a call into reception desk and within 10 minutes it was all sorted…thank you. We ate in the main restaurant for lunch the Caesar Salad was first class and the club sandwich big enough for 2 with fries. We will update on our return in a few days.

Lokasi hotel sangat baik, sangat dekat dengan Kedai Buku Athens. Restoran hotel juga bagus, dan makan malam serta sarapan pagi semuanya dimakan di hotel. Kumpulan pengurusan Accor. Kakitangan perkhidmatan di hotel sangat bersemangat. Saya juga melakukan SPA di hotel, dan teknologinya okay. Satu-satunya penyesalan adalah untuk berunding dengan hotel sebelum ke hotel tentang tambang teksi dari lapangan terbang ke hotel. Hotel ini tidak mengatakan, tetapi saya sangat mengesyorkan perkhidmatan jemput lapangan terbang hotel. . . Argentina memang murah! This was a very reasonable hotel in a great location, there is no bar or restaurant in the hotel but almost next door are a number of bars and restaurants which serve plentiful good food. The rooms are not plush and could do with refreshing but they were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had scrambled eggs and all the meat cheese and baked items and was free. We stayed 6 nights in all. 3 before our cruise and 3 afterwards.

Probably will return. A 3.5 star. Location is excellent, in a tree lined street in Recoleta neighborhood. Across street from a small shopping mall Patio Bullrich, which has movie theatre and cafe. A few blocks north (left) is the good restaurant Fervor and cute cigar bar, both highly recommended. Very good service; again most of the staff don’t speak English. Hotel has a restaurant Alma on the ground floor. A gym, pool (could use some cleaning!) and sauna on the first floor. Our room is spacious, so is the bathroom. The electrical power outlet uses Type I - 3 prong. (Some other hotels in Buenos Aires use European Type F - 2 round prong). I only find one usb port in the room. Bathroom. The corner of the bath tub is beautifully rounded out. Water pressure in the shower is very good. The three essential, shampoo, bath gel and conditioner (that’s how my shower’s sequence) are good but very difficult to get to - the pumps are too small and too close to the wall. Can’t imagine how some one with bigger hand … Open drainage - ok it isn’t ‘open’ but it feels like it - you’ll hear every drop of water down the drain. Maybe it’s their way to remind you to conserve water. Two elevators function well and quick. But at group check out time, it can take for long time. Remedy: go up first.
