Location is near Bhukara Tower and The Ark of Bhukara (15min walk). Exterior courtyard area is excellent for rest from a hot day walk. Room is clean and very spacious, bottled water and amenities are all provided. Staffs are very helpful and knowledgeable with good recommendations to nearby restaurants A generous and excellent breakfast buffet. Highly recommended.

A wonderful guest house with an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable host who warmly shared local culture and gave us a very interesting experience. The rooms were clean, cozy, well-equipped, and felt like home. Perfectly located in Bukhara, just a short 400m walk to the main square and major historical attractions.

Wasn’t a very pleasant stay. On the first day we felt like a scam. We booked the room with an open window door but when we checked in, they gave us an accessible room next to the lift. Nothing looked like the picture on trip.com nor on Mercure website. The accessible bathroom design was also a huge miss. We tried to talk to front desk but they said that’s the last room they have and there were twin beds in the room, so that’s the correct room. They in the end asked us to request for room change the next day if we don’t ‘like’ it. We waited the manager until late morning next day and explained the issue which was more than a room change request. The manager admitted there are only a few rooms that actually look like the picture on their website. They finally gave us the room that we actually booked after a long argument, and compensated us on the first night issue. Beware of what you booked. They mixed a lot of different rooms into one room category and charge the same price point. The room amenities were basic also.

We enjoyed a brief, one-night stay at this charming hotel, and it left a positive impression. The room was spotless and well-maintained, offering comfort and a cozy atmosphere. Its location was truly unbeatable—just a few steps from the main square in the heart of the old city, making it the perfect base for exploring the historical sights and vibrant local culture. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure our stay was smooth. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who graciously covered our taxi fare when I didn’t have smaller banknotes on hand—an unexpected gesture that truly reflected the hotel's commitment to hospitality. Breakfast was modest but satisfactory, offering a simple continental selection that provided an easy, light start to the day. While it wasn’t particularly remarkable, it served its purpose for a short stay. Overall, our time at the hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The combination of its prime location, clean accommodations, and attentive service made for an enjoyable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it for travelers seeking convenience and a warm welcome in the city’s historic center. PS please put tea bags in original covers and add coffee into drinks selection.

Minzifa Boutique Hotel feels like a living historical relic. The entire property is beautifully adorned with traditional Uzbek wall art, intricate geometric and floral motifs. Every corner is a visual delight! Our room felt like stepping back into the Silk Road era intricately decorated, warm, and full of character. Breakfast was exceptional. Wholesome, homemade, and freshly prepared. Hospitality is top-notch. Genuinely welcoming staff There’s even a underground boutique inside selling traditional Uzbek outfits. Don’t miss it. A truly memorable stay in Bukhara.

This is a very nice hotel. I found it very clean and comfortable. The workers are also nice and friendly, and they speak English very well. The price you pay here is worth the services it offers. If I were to return or visit Bukhara again, I would definitely feel okay to spend the night here. The pictures show the type of room I booked, and some parts of the environment inside this hotel.

I chose to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had positive reviews by Trip members and it had an outdoor swimming pool. It was also great value for money for solo travellers. I arrived early than expected at check in and staff were ready to greet me! Wonderful reception staff! The hotel was bigger than expected and the reception area was very modern and clean with nicely decorated interior. I was shown to my room which was on the second floor. I stayed in a single persons room 205. It was bigger than expected with a big bathroom. There were extras like a bath, comfy chairs to chill. I had a fridge, kettle and a full size mirror. I like a full size mirror. The room also had air conditioning which was very good and very quiet. I had a view of the front of the hotel from my window that was pleasant. My room smelled very pleasant and was a non smoking room. My bed was very comfortable for my back. Breakfast was a buffet with a lot of Uzbekistan food which I had never tried before. It was a very busy breakfast area. There was a big range of different foods including fruits and cheeses. I liked the spinach parcels they were very tasty. A lot of the food was homemade. I thought it was delicious. There are a range of buses that offer great service to solo travellers arriving on the train. I caught a Marshuktra from the train station number 378. The Marshuktra dropped me at the bus stop on the road for No 1 bus that stops right outside the hotel. You can also take bus 7/33 All very easy and cheaper than a taxi. I would definitely stay at this hotel again because it has a very nice swimming pool that I used in the afternoon after a long morning sight seeing. I would highly recommend visiting Sitorai Mohi Hosa which is a short distance from the hotel and you can take bus 7/33 or walk. It’s an amazing visit if you are interested in art, culture and architecture. The hotel is very convenient for solo travellers who are a bit too old for Hostels! And like a cold swim after a long day sightseeing without breaking the piggy bank! The first pictures are of my hotel room and the front on the hotel. Wonderful staff, but the hotel is a compromise The staff here are genuinely lovely — warm, attentive, and always willing to help. That's the highlight of the stay, and it deserves real credit. But the hotel itself is a compromise. The main draw is the outdoor pool, which is excellent — and honestly, there's nothing of this quality anywhere else in the city. The problem is everything around it. The hotel sits far from the historic center, so you're dependent on taxis to get anywhere worth seeing. The views from the rooms look out onto old Soviet-era buildings with little charm, and there's a layer of dust over everything. The pool is where the real frustrations begin. It's open to non-guests for a fee, which means it's frequently overcrowded — especially on weekends, when there's often simply no space. Many of the local visitors behave with little regard for others: jumping in, shouting, treating it like a public party rather than a hotel pool. Some show up and drink heavily. During our stay there was a man who was completely, falling-down drunk — he stumbled and nearly cracked his head open several times. The staff had no idea how to handle it. They let him lie around, swim, even dance, while children of paying guests were right there in the water nearby. For a spa team, this is real unprofessionalism — there was no intervention, no sense of safety, no management of the situation at all. On top of that, Sundays are women-only days, with men not allowed in at all. I understand the intent, but if you've traveled here and paid specifically for the pool, that's a significant loss - because without the pool, the hotel is honestly rather grim and uninteresting. In short: the people who work here are kind, and the pool is the best in town. But the location, the surroundings, the overcrowding, and especially the spa staff's inability to maintain a safe, professional environment make this a place you choose despite its flaws, not because of them.
