Terrible, rude, inconsiderate owners and staff. Booked in advance and stated late arrival (long car journey). Issue with card via booking website - updated card and all was fine. Within an hour of arrival we received email that booking was cancelled. We immediately called and was told they tried to contact us (did not receive any call, text nor additional email). I said we’re nearly there and will pay on arrival. She stated she’d have to “ask the owners” and phone me back. No call back received, so phoned hotel again as we were minutes away, and was told owners gave the room away and promptly hung up the phone, so we were left stranded. In all my years of extensive travel, I’ve never experienced such behaviour. This is a terrible way to do business!
