Siritamu Resort

Siritamu means secret place in Swahili. This place is hidden on most sides by rock and lots of trees. Service was excellent. Kepha, Fred, Mary and Gloria were amazing. Lunch and dinner menus were great and the food/dining service was great. They cook everything fresh so you will wait 45-50 minutes for your food. The executive suite was modern in appearance with both a separate shower, tub, king bed, 2 sitting chairs with ottoman, desk, desk chair and real air conditioning. Power outages were few and brief (less than 1 minute). The security staff were friendly and helpful. From the instant we drove through the gate until the time we left, we felt nothing but sincerity from most of the employees. There are wild monkeys that come to feed in the mornings and can be seen early in the day in the trees along the walkway. There are trails to walk, swimming pool, etc. on the property. Our team will be back to stay on our next trip! The only issue we had was the flies in the dining hall. Management needs employ something to trap them and keep them from disturbing guests as we eat.

At one point I became very sick and the staff checked on me every few hours until I felt better. This was above and beyond my scope of expectations. The only downside to our stay was lack of reliability with the Wi-Fi in our rooms. Otherwise, we had no complaints.
