My wife and I have stayed at Burdett House 4 times now and always feel so at home. Each room is super well designed with excellent bathrooms and showers. The 2 course breakfast is a great start to a day of wine tasting or hiking. It keeps us satisfied till dinner time. The breakfast is always so fresh and flavorful! To top it all off, Ashley and Dave are so fun, helpful, and kind. Hudson is pretty awesome too 😉 We will definitely return again and again to FLX and Burdett House!

We stayed for three nights in Burdett house and it was an absolute pleasure. Ashley and Dave are very gracious hosts who helps with tips and advice. Breakfast is lovely and varied and there are snacks, water, coffee, etc. available all day. Rooms are clean and spacious and the whole interior of the house is very nicely done with respect for the materials (the house is around 140 years old) But most importantly we felt right at home and enjoyed ur time fully. Can't recommend enough

Just completed my third stay at Burdett House. It’s a delightful B&B with very friendly and helpful hosts who are attentive to every detail (and are excellent cooks). Beautifully decorated house that’s convenient to Watkins Glen attractions. Highly recommended

Burdett B&B was such a lovely and cozy stay. We stayed in the empire room and it really had everything we needed, down to the makeup wipes (which come in super handy when you forget a face wash!). Ashley and Dave are big on supporting local businesses, whether it's the toiletries, the food, or jarred items they're selling. The bedding was comfortable; there were perfectly placed outlets on both sides of the bed so my husband and I didn't have to fight for a side. The attention to detail in the rooms, and really all around the house was the cherry on top. The breakfast was de-li-cious! I would go back for that alone !! It's been a month since our stay but we both still talk about our experience with Ashley and Dave to our friends and often think about the warm apple crumb cake that was freshly baked that morning. Phew. It was good!!! Did I mention how cozy the B&B was. The dining space was so nicely decorated and peaceful. It really felt like we had gone to visit friends. Ashley chatted with us about the area and her (great) recommendations. We went in on a whim so no itinerary really, but we walked out for the day with a whole list (literally, she wrote the spots down) of things to do. It was our first B&B experience, and our expectations for the next ones are sky high thanks to Ashley and Dave's hospitality. Highly recommend a stay with them.

We were very pleased with our room which was spotlessly clean and filled with natural light. The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite bathroom came with a very spacious walk-in shower! Delicious nutritious breakfasts each morning. Friendly hosts (Ashley and David) who were very helpful with information and suggestions for waterfall hikes and nearby places to eat. Great location in a quite town but very accessible to Watkins Glen, Ithaca, and numerous state parks. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay and strongly recommend.

This is the best B&B I have ever stayed at. Eight friends shared this experience and all loved our stay and we are very picky about our yearly get together. Ashley and Dave made our stay the best ever in our many years of get togethers. Breakfast was extraordinary, rooms were perfect. The location was close to many wineries and breweries all with fantastic views. Go treat yourself, you will not regret going

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. This house was built in the 1800's and it is impeccably maintained. We have stayed at a few other B&B's in the area and this was by far the best. The room was perfect, comfortable bed and pillows, nice big closet with a light of course as no detail is not taken care of here! The bathroom had a great shower and was spacious. Breakfast was delicious, with great choices.

My wife and I stayed in the excelsior room and it was fantastic! The patio and enjoyable view, the comfortable bed and the great bathroom. The bed 15/10 and the breakfast 20/10! Hand crafted recipes that you can tell were made with love and experience. Located near beautiful watkins Glen and the vineyards! With great recommendations from our accommodating host! We had a fantastic time. Able to go to the beautiful state park and plenty of wines and cheeses! A must stay place if you are traveling near the finger lakes.

I love the house and the hosts! They are very helpful in helping you plan activities and they are very kind, loving people. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We always do the extra packages, and it is worth it. Breakfast is delicious This is our second trip and we will return.
