Travelled from Madrid to watch Malaga play Burgos and arrived after a brisk walk from the station. The staff were very welcoming and gave us a room on the top floor. It was very nice with fantastic views of Burgos in the snow. Had an excellent and very reasonably priced breakfast the next day, before checking out. Traditional Spanish hotel which I loved, in a great position and perfect for El Plantio, will definitely return.

Hotel bien localizado en el centro de Burgos, con unas instalaciones no muy ampliasen sus zonas comunes pero con habitaciones cómodas y limpias, así como su baño. Cama cómoda y doble acristalamiento en sus ventanas para mejorar el descanso. Como punto a mejorar, el desayuno, de los tres días que nos quedamos, dos de ellos pusieron el desayuno en la cafetería de la entrada y era un poco estrecha para los huéspedes que habían en el hotel, aparte que se terminaba la comida y no daba tiempo a la camarera a reponer. El último día abrieron un salón amplio en la primera planta y fue mucho mejor, tanto por su espacio, como por el servicio. Otro detalle es que por las noches no hay personal en recepción.

This hotel located 5 minutes from the cathedral, is a perfect stop for a night. Rooms are nice, not huge but big enough, nice bathroom, comfy mattress, breakfast with a lot choices for a minimum price. You really get everything you need for a cheap price. Highly recommended

Os quartos, bem como o pequeno-almoço, estão mais ao nível de um 5 do que de um 4 estrelas. Atenção que o restaurante do hotel (que é óptimo) fecha aos domingos. Uma dica - a 100 metros a oeste do hotel existe um parque de estacionamento público mais barato e espaçoso do que o do hotel.

No me esperaba esto de un hotel de tres estrellas, vamos a empezar: Ni un solo cajón en la habitación, sin caja fuerte ni nevera, una sola silla en una amplia habitación de matrimonio, eso si, los cristales muy sucios. Para desayunar en la Cafetería del Hotel y que solo abre por la mañana, pues no te puedes tomar un café con leche y una tostada (por ejemplo) tiene que ser buffet completo obligatoriamente. Esto es en la primera Cafetería de un hotel en la que me pasa; que no me sirven lo que pido y me obligan al buffet que no puedo tomar por problemas de salud, increíble. El colchón de la habitación ya por si solo es para escribir un libro; es de muelles y bien duro, hacía mucho que no dormía en uno de estos que suena más que una moto trucada cada vez que te mueves. Es un colchón FLEX Multielástic GAMA MM. (FOTO) y que mi mujer que es discapacitada no toleraba, aparte de provocarla molestias en la espalda no podía descansar bien, yo cuando reservé habitación dije bien claro que era para dos personas, una de ellas con una discapacidad importante. Prometieron cambiarnos de habitación ya que la única que tienen preparada para personas con discapacidad lleva fuera de servicio desde enero del 2023 al parecer por un problema con una ventana, no nos cambiaron de habitación. Luego prometieron cambiarnos el colchón pero el día que nos íbamos tras comentar mi mujer en recepción que había dormido muy mal, la recepcionista dijo que la gobernanta había cambiado nuestro colchón por uno de la habitación de discapacitados que estaba fuera de servicio desde hace meses. Mi mujer ante esto solo pudo decir que eso era totalmente falso, que no habían cambiado el colchón pues lo había sufrido igual que en noches anteriores y que ya era mucha casualidad que un muelle de ese colchón en particular se le clavara en el mismo sitio todas las noches... incluso con el supuesto ”nuevo colchón”. Pues ahí queda nuestra experiencia en este hotel de tres estrellas, la primera vez que tenemos una odisea como esta en un hotel o en un hostal, de tres estrellas, de más o de menos. Lo único que se salva es el buen trato de las personas de recepción y que el hotel se encuentra a solo 800m. de La Catedral y del Casco Viejo. Saludos.

I can't understand where the great reviews come from. This hotel photos make it look like a rural location and this was the reason we booked it along with the description ofthe restaurant food (the Tudanca restaurant specializes in traditional Castilian food) perhaps this was a la carte only. Be warned, these photos are the rear of the hotel and do not show the location. It's actually next to the motorway on one side and main road on the other. The main restaurant for the hotel is located in the transport cafe/shop next door, its a separate restaurant. We had booked half bord. Evening meal was not the best but was better value than the a la carte. The service was terrible. Staff have the ability to totally ignored everyone with the exception of Spanish speaking people. We waited over half an hour for coffee, the table next to us had the same wait for their bill. The restaurant only had a handful of occupied tables. We regretted not eating at lunchtime in the cafe, food looked better and half the price. We did have a great bowl of soup. Unfortunately the cafe is closed in the evening, only snack food and bar was available. Breakfast is taken in the hotel and was OK with all the standard choices. Hallway carpet was worn and threadbare in places. Walls are scuffed in hallways and our room. Our Vinyard view room and the bathroom were large but dingy, the place may have been clean but it didn't feel like it. The room did have a small balcony, overlook the vineyard but also main road and motorway. The whole place needs redecoration and refitting. Beds were comfortable thought. There is plenty of parking as you would expect from a motorway rest area with a hotel. We would Not stay here again.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is in a beautiful and quiet area in Valle de Sedano, near a waterfall. The hotel itself is quaint and rustic. The staff are very nice and friendly. The younger staff, the young men, speak English, which is really appreciated as it’s not always the case in Spain, and not all of us speak Spanish. The room we were given was a bit smaller than the photos, but still comfortable. The ceilings are low on the top floors, so watch your head.
The only thing I can say negative about this hotel is that there is no parking possible nearby as it it up on a hill with very narrow uphill streets to get there. You have to leave your car at the bottom of the hill outside the village and climb up by foot to the top. Yes, their website stipulates this but not on the Trip.com website. As my husband is a civil handicapped person, we were exceptionally able to arrange to leave our car near the hotel for our short stay, but it was REALLY exceptional. If you are handicapped or mobility reduced, you shouldn’t stay there, unfortunately. Anyway, the drive up to and down from the hotel on those unbelievably narrow maze of streets is really too stressful. I don’t recommend it. But if you are otherwise young and fit, I highly recommend it. It’s peaceful, beautiful, amazing scenery, good food and friendly staff.

PPengguna TetamuUne atmosphère surannée d'une maison bourgeoise vous permet de voyager dans le temps. Literie confortable, propreté au rendez-vous. Nous avions un studio avec kitchenette bien équipé pour sa taille, même le produit vaisselle était prévu et un adorable essuie-mains. Un grand garage avec accès direct à l'hôtel est un plus. Nous étions sur l'arrière donc nous n'avons pas été dérangés par le bruit des 2 cafés. Nous avons dîner dans celui juste à côté de l'hôtel. C'était très bon et les prix sont modérés. L'hôtel est pet friendly. Le village d'époque médiéval est très joli. Nous avons enfin trouvé un hôtel sur la route entre la France et l'Andalousie. Nous y retournerons.

Reservé dos noches, pero la primera noche fue insoportable debido al ruido incesante del aire acondicionado, lo que me impidió dormir y descansar adecuadamente. Al día siguiente, fui a la recepción del hotel para quejarme y pedir un cambio de habitación, pero el personal del hotel me informó que el hotel estaba lleno y que no había habitaciones disponibles. Me negaron una solución adecuada y no me permitieron cancelar la noche restante y obtener un reembolso. Además, el personal del hotel me trató de manera humillante y vergonzosa, lo que empeoró aún más mi experiencia. Me resultó muy frustrante que me cobraran por una noche que no pasé en el hotel, lo que empeoró aún más mi experiencia y me dejó con una sensación de injusticia. En resumen, el Hotel Tudanca no solo me ofreció un servicio de mala calidad, sino que también me trató de manera injusta al cobrarme por una noche que no pude disfrutar debido a las condiciones inaceptables del hotel. Esta situación arruinó mis vacaciones y me vi obligado a abandonar el hotel y perder una noche de mi estadía. Mi experiencia en el Hotel Tudanca fue negativa en todos los aspectos posibles, y por eso no puedo recomendar este hotel a nadie. Si está buscando un lugar tranquilo y agradable para aloj****, definitivamente debería buscar en otro lugar.

PPioneer42258866544We stayed here on the way back to Santander at the end of our road trip in Spain. We picked this hotel as parking was easy , a bonus in Burgos. The room was very modern , very clean , fridge, tv , great shower and VERY comfy beds. Bit of confusion on check in , when i asked to confirm that breakfast was included , was told no. O checking my booking confirmation, I found it was, went back to the desk , saw the same gentleman , who grudgingly admitted it was . This same gentleman also advised me breakfast would be served in the right hand restaurant , and marked the hotel location on a map for me. Both these were wrong ! Breakfast was served in the main busy with locals) restaurant ,and the map location was totally wrong ! Maybe he was having an off day ? We got a taxi in to Burgos 12.00 euros , We chose to eat in the restaurant attached to the hotel for dinner, and it was excellent, a menu del dia , including a bottle of wine , dessert and coffee was 14.00 euros pp , great value !

PPengguna Tetamu¿Quieren que cuente? Pues cuento. Posiblemente de los peores hoteles en los que me haya alojado. Para empezar no funcionaba el aire acondicionado. De imaginan Burgos en pleno verano? Fue una experiencia similar a la tortura de un mártir: asados como San Lorenzo a la parrilla. Para suplir había un aire acondicionado portátil ensordecedor y por tanto inútil. Opción: abrir la ventana para disfrutar del fresco nocturno mesetario. Segunda tortura: asaetados cual san Sebastianes por los mosquitos y el chunda chunda de una discoteca cercana. Tercera tortura: la cama. Colchón obsoleto y almohadas sacadas de una cantera de piedra cercana. Y para finalizar para duch**** hay que ser funambulista: la alcachofa muy mona para una casa particular pero poco práctica para un hotel. Y cuidado las personas mayores con la altura de la bañera porque es peligrosa. Conclusión: creo que hubiéramos dormido mejor en una tienda de campaña a la sombra de las piedras catedralicias. Como aspecto positivo: está céntrico y el wifi funciona bien. No volvería ni a tiros.

PPengguna TetamuVisita de pasada, localizado por casualidad a través de Booking…, acierto absoluto! Desde la atención de recepción a la cordialidad de la “platica” con Jenson en cafetería…, una estancia agradable y cordial. Habitaciones más que correctas…, impecables. Aparcamiento gratuito frente al mismo hotel, apto incluso para camiones. De resaltar lo calentita que era la estancia y las torrijas del desayuno. De esos sitios “unicornio”, que saben distinguir la tortilla de patatas.., hacen ambas por si eres de cebolla o sin! Confirmado el cambio reciente de gestión, con un nuevo enfoque orientado al cliente 100% y manteniendo sus tarifas asequibles.
