Positives: location is off the highway; in room: hot water in bathroom.
Negatives: second floor carpets dirty; in room: carpet also dirty, mini fridge didn't work, bed was uncomfortable to say the least. Felt unsafe as I checked out, very early and prior to breakfast, someone was sleeping in the hallway by elevator. The checkout process was confusing (virtual self checkout), and had to drop off key, but wasn't able to speak with an actual manager or front desk agent in person.

Guest room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom was modern, clean and bright. Scrambled eggs at breakfast were a nice surprise. Disliked video kiosk style check-out.

The room had an awful smell of cigarette smoke, just over powering, I expected a smoke free room, it is advertised as a smoke free room. The hair dryer didn't work, bedding/pillows were good, tv was nice, hard to get the room to a steady temperature, either it got too hot or too cold. Bathroom faucet leaked slightly, it has to be the faucets as this is the second room where this happened, leaky faucet. Not sure if I will stay again

Checked in on a Thursday for a 3-night stay and discovered the toilet didn’t flush properly and that there was limited to no hot water coming from the shower. The room’s AC unit also continuously powered off. It was 9 at night with a 3-night stay ahead, so I opted to check out and find better arrangements. Later on after requesting a refund, the hotel denied the refund to *******, claiming I was using the reservation. I’ve been at La Quinta since Thursday at nearly 10 PM. This is absolutely unacceptable and downright theft. Do not stay at this location.
