This is fantastic value. The room was spotless, we had an ocean view with balcony. This hotel is a shared property with Grab the Ocean. Grab the Ocean has physical staff present at the hotel, however Urbanstay does not. So before check in it is essential to check email and follow specific instructions since it all has to be down virtually. Early check in is only available for a fee. For our experience the check in process was confusing and slightly stressful, because machines were broken. But once we got that resolved we enjoyed our stay immensely and will be back again!

Was under the impression I would have a balcony due to the pictures on the site while booking the room, but other than that the room was great. A microwave in the room wouldn’t be too bad either.

The room was very clean, I’m satisfied with the service and amenities in the hotel, also there is a convenience store right in the 1st floor and a lot of restaurants near of the building and the better part is that is in front of Songdo Beach, I’m definitely coming back!:)

The check in process and service levels from the property really bring this from a 5 star stay to a 2 star. A property with lots of potential but not letting guests check in until 4pm and then wanting them gone by 11am sharp the next morning simply isn’t right. We arrived at midday and tried to check in early which was denied. Even though the room was empty from 1pm onwards. Poor service when we tried to contact them. Room itself is very nice, good WiFi, hot water and a comfortable bed. But the service makes me not want to return.

Very beautiful view and great location. The only difficulty a foreigner can experience is registering his number or email on the official of the urban stay hotel and getting his passwords on his phone. This is self check in hotel. Please register your number and email before coming!!!

Trip & Urbanstay Busan Songdo Beach's system was not connected well, resulting in check-in taking 30-40 minutes. Since Urbanstay is self-check-in, there is no front desk. In the past, I have booked Urbanstay hotels on other hotel platforms many times, and I always received the booking information and check-in guide via email or KakaoTalk However, ONLY I booked Urbanstay with Trip this time, and it was tough to check-in. This Urbanstay Busan Songdo Beach is newly open and the service attitude is nasty. When I asked what the reason was, we did not receive any check-in information, and the service staff would not explain. The booking needs to be re-created on the hotel system, no trip booking on the system, and the receptionist had no sense of service at all. The whole process takes 30-40 minutes for me to communicate in Korean, which is even more difficult for foreigners to communicate and solve. -- And hotel equipment: The bed is small, One room with an ocean view is their definition of a king bed When the system is not connected to the hotel. What a bad system accident and no sense of service by the hotel staff.

Good value for money. We didn’t receive the instructions for check in so check in process was a bit tedious. Apart from that everything was cool

The location is good. The room is clean and hygienic. Local, seafood restaurants and convenient stores as well as cafes are just around the corner. You can use Visa cards everywhere down there. Hey..! Back to the hotel info, Self-Checking in and out is fun and interesting. You can drop your belongings in the luggage store by yourself if you are there early.

Very nice accommodation, doesn't really feel like a hotel as there is no reception and you have to clean up after yourself. But overall the place was clean, good size bed, great location as its right on the beach and the bus stop is less than 5minutes walk. As it is not summer in SK right now in the night it does get a little chilly, so the AC has been turned off after 10pm (an email was sent to us explaining this), if you wanted to keep the room cool just turn the unit off as the temperature is automatically kept to 28°C so heating turns on. I would definitely recommend this accommodation if you want a nice location not too busy!

Splendid view and location. You can travel anywhere by bus and the bus-stop is just less than 5mins away. You can hear the sound of waves. Great stay. No housekeeping so there’s a lot of privacy. 24x7 stores just in the first floor and another one just 2 mins away. There’s Starbucks and a cafe on level one. Laundry available at level 4. The only issue is that the aircon is set according to the time of the day. During the day, you get cool aircon. At night it is set for warm air. It gets hot in the room and the aircon just releases warm air. When you open the balcony door, you get cool breeze along with mosquitoes. There are plenty of mosquitoes so have fun catching them. I caught 10 in total. So we had to leave the door ajar and make do. It gets uncomfortable and night so don’t use the comforters. It’s a great place. View is absolutely out of this world. Definitely will come if they can do something about the aircon.

So I arrive to make the check in 4 hours early to the front desk with my 1 year old daughter tire and sleepy of the flight and trip and the only thing helping me was a computer that says check in is a 4 pm and there is no other option when I try to call customers service I was only by a Korean phone number so we need it to use the restroom and to rest and this garbage company didn’t have a real person to help us just a computer there are some jobs that should only be made by humans I ended up booking another hotel with real people on the front desk and I enter my room immediately of course they keep all the money not refund policy this place sucks smells like steam squid all the time and is dirty is not worth the price and this is trip.com problem they are advertising hotels like this that doesn’t fit the price of you are from the US or Canada or Latin America don’t come here is garbage
