The equipment itself is a bit old, and it is impossible to specify a non-smoking room, so the room smells of cigarettes. And it is very heavy. There is a large supermarket at each of the two exits of Shimonoseki Station, which is very convenient for replenishing daily necessities.

It's very close to the station and the nearby port seafood. The hot spring facilities are very good. There are only public hot springs. There are free cold drinks in the rest area. Free ramen is provided after 9.30 pm. However, I ate too much outside and didn't eat ramen for 2 days, so I can't say whether it is good or not.

This is a trip I took with my parents. I made a reservation for a 3-person connecting room. When I used it that day, it seemed like two rooms had been opened and could be used as connecting rooms. So it was much more convenient to have two bathrooms available. You can take a hot spring bath on the second floor, and the breakfast was good in Japanese style. Check-out was at 10 am, but I was very satisfied because I was able to check out at 12 pm by adding 2,000 yen. The location was close to the pier and the staff were very friendly. What I liked the most was that it was a new place and it was clean :) If I travel here again, I think I will stay there again.

Location is convenient, 5-minute walk from JR Shimonoseki Station - through the footbridge or the underpass (footbridge recommended if you are carrying with you large pieces of luggage as elevators are available). Room setting is great - I especially liked the couch area. Cleanliness was acceptable, but could have been even better. Coin laundry machines at the hotel are among the best I've tried - the passcode lock feature of the machines prevents your clothing items from being mistakenly taken by others.

This is not the Hotel in the photo added. The hotel is a reasonable Japanese style business hotel. The staff were very kind and friendly and tried to help us with the booking problem cause by Trip.com. The booking agency (Trip.com) had booked us as 6 guests and charged us accordingly. We were 4 adults and one child and were overcharged by Trip.com by 1/3 of the price (about 10,000 yen). The hotel staff were helpful but they couldn't do anything as this was a mistake by the agents not the hotel. I will be contacting Trip.com to ask for a refund of the amount they charged us in error.

The location is very close to the train station and is easy to reach. The staff has a good service attitude and is willing to help. Although there is no air conditioning (in the cold season), the windows can be opened to allow air circulation. The rooms have enough space. The basic facilities are a bit old but the plugs are still sufficient. , nightgowns are provided, which is generally enough if you don’t care about other facilities.

The hotel is very old, perhaps because it is an old building. The tickets are old. Breakfast is free, but only bread and coffee are provided. The counter staff is very friendly. Still, it's okay because it's cheap. I've attached a photo of the breakfast.

11人旅まーちゃんThe staff was kind and comfortable! The toilet and bath were separated and the room was beautiful. It was like a room living alone. I didn't enjoy the scenery because it wasn't on the sea side, but the location is great because it is convenient to be close to the Karato market. I thought it would be helpful if there was makeup remover and lotion.

GGuest UserThe room is clean and tidy and fully furnished. Towels are too old. Breakfast is a Japanese set meal, simple and clean, okay. Very close to Xiaguan Railway Station, convenient for transportation and shopping. There is a shop a few steps to the left of the hotel. The sashimi is delicious. Many locals come to eat it. The price is not expensive. Please post the photo of the shop for reference.

There is a bus nearby to go to Karato Market the next day👍🏻I appreciate the friendly attitude of the front counter staff, who also tried their best to communicate with us in English and a translator. GGuest UserIt was on the top floor, the fifth floor, and the view from the window was of Shimonoseki city and the sea. It was a single room, but it was quite spacious (probably it used to be a twin room) and the interior had a somewhat Showa-era feel to it. However, the bathroom had been renovated and was a beautiful unit bath. There was a humidifier, so I used it. It was a shame that there was no outlet for the refrigerator. I think it was worth the price.
