Ulasan Almont City Hotel

I enjoyed the employees, very professional. Kevin the waiter was very hospitable and welcomed us every morning with a smile and a good morning. At nighttime would go down and ask for extra blankets , I like it cold and my girl likes it warm, so having extra blankets were very accommodating. The one downside was the parking, would park my car down the street and get back up at ten and move it in front of hotel. Very warm feeling staying there.

Great hotel, friendly staff, clean and tidy room, and we really enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely come back.

Staying in downstairs for and hour bcus something happened in the 4flr my mom just bring over there to relax bcus she was out from hospital.

Good location .With smoking area.Nakakaumay lang ang set breakfast.when staying for several days,just dont avail of the free brekfast.They have other food in the menu .Staff are very helpful even for odd requests like hairdryer,food in the middle of the night and leaving items even after checkout.Over all my experience was really good and my family were very happy.

Nice hotel 100%

Almont City Hotel is in a nice location. However, every advertisement shows a picture of a pool that the hotel does NOT have. That pool is, in fact, at the Almont Inland Resort also in Butuan and they should remove the picture as it is misleading and a big reason i booked this hotel. When we arrived i was informed there is no double bed suite available despite having requested that when i booked the hotel and instead was given a 2-single bed "suite" that looked more like a slightly more spacious regular hotel room. The first night staying at the hotel there was a Tuko Gecko outside of our window that was really annoying when trying to sleep; thereafter was fine. The breakfast at the hotel is the worst i have seen in the last 2 weeks of traveling the Philippines. Better off buying food at one of the many better places to eat surrounding the hotel. All-in-all, the hotel was mediocre at best. I would definitely try other hotels in Butuan before returning to Almont City Hotel.

Pros: Great location as it's located at the city center. Good size double room. Has a fridge. The staff who checked us in was friendly & informative. Nice seats at the lobby. Safe to store your luggage in. Has a security guard. Cons: They uploaded a pool pic but this branch actually doesn't have one. The aircon's placement was far from our bed so it still felt really warm in our room. We thought it's just because Butuan's summer time has reached 41C but we moved to another hotel and their AC does the job. No elevator so it's quite a climb if you're on the higher floor. Breakfast was horrible. Small portion. The rice was very soggy, egg was very runny, & corned beef was cheap. Jollibee's breakfast meal tasted better & cheaper for the same menu. The management has no sense of urgency. We asked Trip.com if we could check out early & get refunded to which they contacted this hotel right away. They then informed us to wait the next day for their supervisor's decision. That time came and the next reply was to wait until the evening. We just decided not to cancel as it was taking too long and we already needed an answer. They could have said a straight out no so that we didn't have to wait. We felt they just dragged because they don't want to give a refund. Luckily, we booked our nights for such a good price so we don't feel too bad. Had we booked this at full price, it wouldn't have been worth it.

Good staycation!

The staffs are helpful and friendly, the room is too old and shower is leaking. and sometimes can't find a parking space outside the hotel.

Very clean, friendly staffs, room is big and comfortable, its clean as well. Food is you delicious with its affordable price. Definitely will be back again here
