First of all, Thank you so much Team Dream International Hotel for your mesmerizing hospitality and mouth watering food. I felt so safe and loved to be there with all comfortablely but I missed the live BBQ on Friday cause I had to leave for airport.

I stayed here for three nights. I think the location is good. In addition, the rooms were clean. The food, including the breakfast, was average or worse. For all the three days, they served almost the same breakfast. Why do I think it was a terrible experience? While some of the staff were hospitable and attentive, many I think were rather cold, insensitive and uncooperative. Let me give an example: during one of these evenings, I wanted some medicines. I called the reception, and I am pretty sure that the staff taking the call knew that I was sick. I asked him if he could get me some medicines to which he responded positively. I waited for almost an hour, but I was told later that it was too late to get medicines. Shockingly, they could not get me the medicines the next morning too. I later googled for the nearest pharmacies, called one of these sellers for the location (which was almost next door) and then sent a hotel staff to get it. I think there was still a degree of reluctance to go out and get the meds. Was this due to say a policy that the hotel staff does not go out? Not sure. But imagine yourself as solo travelers, receiving this kind of treatment? I almost felt I was dealing with robots rather than humans. Let me also bring to light another disaster: they hosted a late-night party at their bar which was adjoining my room. For nearly six hours between 9 pm and 3 am, there was way too much noise for me to be able to sleep. While they did offer me a room change after I complained several times, I was sick and did not feel like packing things to move to another room. What was the hotel response to the issue and how did they try and address/compensate for the issue? Well, they did nothing. In other words, these guys seem to only know 'business' in its crudest sense. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I can honestly not think of one negative thing to say about this hotel. The staff is over the top in every way. The rooms are gorgeous and the beds are like a cloud. The restaurant serves delicious food and cocktails and cold beer 24 hours a day. There isn’t a lot to do in Butwal but this is the nicest hotel I stayed at during my time in Nepal. I would come back to this town for a leisurely luxurious stay again. It is the by far and away the best option for Visiting Lumbini even if it is a bit of a drive to get there.

If you want to get serviced by well trained staff, which can be compared to any 5 star hotel of any metro city of world then this is the only hotel you should look for in Butwal. Reception and especially restaurant staff ensures you have a pleasant stay and will go beyond their protocol to serve the customers. Rooms are normal hotel style, very clean n neat, food is good and little pricey but worth it. This will be my permanent choice of stay during all my Butwal visits. Highly recommended especially for longer stays. Just attaching a pic of must try desert if you do come here. 😋 P S.: Special mention for Manish, Shristi, Kurmi and the wonderful chef who made the pizza and all other dishes as per my requirements.
