Hotel Byron Bay, New South Wales dengan Kolam Renang

We stayed here for two nights, it suited our purpose as just a place to sleep really. Unfortunately the lifts were out of order which wasn't great with our suitcases. The hostel is in a pretty good location, not far from the main street which then leads to the beach. Our room was basic but at least felt clean (we were in a private en suite room). We didn't use the cooking facilities but the rules seemed to be quite well enforced which is encouraging. The pool looked ok but we didn't use it and the sunbeds smelled really bad.

Having not been to Byron since 2006, I came for a night with a friend. We didn't want to be spending in to the 100s for a room we would only sleep in. We opted for the Cape Byron YHA. For $70, we got a twin room with a double and a bunk. The room was pretty bare, no TV - But it had a clothes hang/store area / mirror / enough plugs for the 2 of us. The bed was comfy and the covers were clean and warm (you have to ***** the bed upon check out). There were 3 or 4 showers in the block on our floor, same for toilets - you needed the swipe card to get in - again clean, warm. The kitchen area was large - this grossed me out a little - but it's been a long time since I backpacked Oz and needed to cook for myself in such. The pans were old and pretty grubby. You had to get your plates etc from reception - but we had ours with us. The tea towels were rank - I wouldn't use. The worst however was a bloke in the kitchen coughing all over the place - not the hostels fault, but nasty nonetheless. Needless to say, we didn't go sit and eat by him - we ate on our balcony which had a table and 2 chairs. During COVID-times and no flights coming in to Oz, this hostel serviced a range of ages - I am 40 and there were people older than me there. I found the hostel more like a motel. Good location and good wifi.

Generally nice looking place with plenty of free parking (otherwise in very short supply in Byron) and a big kitchen. The room itself was fine apart from the thin foam mattress leaving something to be desired. Just make sure you arrive with the expectation that other guests will show minimal consideration in terms of nighttime/early morning noise and cleanliness in the common areas.

I called and made a booking on short notice after 8:30pm. The staff not only took the call they upgraded me to the best suite for a good price as it was the slow season. I was only expected to stay for the night. The penthouse was perfect, close to the center of town, friendly staff - I ended up staying another two days. I will be making Aloha my preferred place to stay in the future, happy customer.

Away for work and had a couple of nights here - paid for by someone else. When I saw on the itinerary it was a Discovery Park (I thought caravan type park) I admit I was a bit sceptical about the standard of the accomodation. Stayed in a Standard Studio Cabin. It was fine - not amazing, but hey, it's not like you think you're getting a 5 Star Hotel. A nice Queen bed in the main room (it was just me in the cabin) and a second bedroom with 2 x double stacked single bunk beds - so it'll sleep 6 if needed. Check in was quick and easy and the reception staff are really nice. It's a large park and they give you a map to get to your room - you can drive right to it. The room had everything you'd need - fridge, microwave, cooktop, utensils, 2 x TV's, lounge, aircon, plus a small porch with table / chairs. It was fine for me and would be great for a family or couples on a budget. The only things that I'd mention would be that the Wi-Fi was pretty ordinary (they do tell you in the info they give you at check in the the cabins don't have great wi-fi) - I ended up tethering to me phone most of the time and the water pressure is not great. But you're in Byron Bay so you should just chill out and enjoy the location. Looks like there's plenty to do in the park with ponds, pools, BBQ areas, tennis and even a water park on site. It seems pretty secure and you need an individual code to get in/out through the gates for both cars and pedestrians. There's a great cafe called Folk at the entrance to the park that has really good coffee and food and is pretty reasonably priced considering they're the only option right there. Nice staff, good service and a cool atmosphere. It's well located on the main road into Byron Bay town and only a few minutes from there and the beaches. I'm sure there's plenty of things I've missed, but I was really only sleeping and having breakfast there. I ticked the ”Average” box for this review, but it was probably better than that - I'd say ”better then good” for me. All-in-all it seemed like a nice place.

Great little hotel in the heart of Byron. Was a bit tricky to find and there is limited hours for reception so make sure you check the times before travelling. Rooms were huge and well appointed. Bed was a bit soft but other than that no complaints. Nice kitchen and walking distance to the beach and shops.

We stayed here for 2 days whilst visiting Byron Bay. We had a powered pitch which was quite small (wedged between a caravan and tent) but for our little CamperVan wasn’t a problem! The campsite was a 10 minute walk from the centre of Byron Bay. The reception staff were nice and friendly. The facilities were very good and clean. We would stay again.

Good location, close walk to Tallows Creek and Tallows Beach, nice cabins and friendly staff. But the reason I only gave 3/5 stars is because of the cleanliness of the cabin we stayed in. I could see smudged finger marks on the wall above the kitchen sink, the fridge didn't look like it had been cleaned out, there was broken glass from a bottle on the inside of the front door as you walk in (I almost stepped on it), and there was layers of black mould in the air-conditioning which was situated right above the bed. I spoke with staff about this before we left (by the time we noticed the hygiene issues reception had closed so we had to wait until morning), which I have to say they handled remarkably. They were very apologetic for our experience and they gave us a full refund of our 1 night stay which we were very appreciative of. They thanked us for letting them know and said they will be speaking with their cleaners to get on top of this. I am really hoping that they do.. This is my second stay with Ingenia Holidays in Byron Bay and the first time (back in 2020), the cleanliness wasn't the greatest then either, so something needs to change. Black mould in the cabins anywhere let alone in an air conditioner that blows around the room is a serious health hazard for guests. I'm asthmatic so I was extremely worried to be sleeping in a room with mould. It was disappointing that this happened because Ingenia Holidays is an awesome park, I just hope they stick to their word about getting on top of the cleanliness so no one staying there becomes sick, and so someday maybe we can give them another chance to change our review.
