Acropolis North Water Camp

Nice but not that nice would be the best way to describe this review. The place for me is under rated when it comes to it's cleanliness, amenities and facilities. Their Standard rooms are spacious and could accommodate up to 4 adults (you just need to pay for the additional heads because room rates are for 2 only). It has a look and feel of a 4 star hotel and service is quite good. Specially the Keil the receptionist and the old guy serving the food, they are really accommodating and they will make you feel at home. The other lady at the reception is a bit though. At first I thought she was easy to talk to but as days go by, my perception changed. Good thing she is not always at the recep. I consider them to have 4 pools. 1 with kids play ground, 1 for laarge pool for all ages, 1 pool that circles the pool that is with slides. People will really enjoy these pools specially kids and you do not have 2 worry because their pools are kid friendly when it comes to water depths. Room rates are of the best in the Cabanatuan because it is affordable and is wothin budget foe simple like me can afford and yet enjoy good facilities. The room I stayed in was peaceful and quite too bad I have to work on my second night. The resort is located in a secluded subdivision and it feels as if you are detached from the busy life outside but it is not far from the city center as it is only about a 5 to 10 minute drive. They have a basketball and badminton gym. You can use these facilities with an additional fee. I think for the basketball it is 700 per hour with lights and 600 per hour without lights. Internet is good at certain places but inside thw room I got, Villa 301, there was no internwt reception. You have to go out of the room to get a good signal. I enjoyed my first breakfast here because the servings were fine. I chose the american breakfast with 2 eggs, toasted bread and bacpn plus coffee and I was happy with the meal. The following day I was informed that the breakfast I had was incorrect because I am on complimentary state because of a discount I am getting as a PWD for the room. I felt so discriminated! I only got room discount because of being a PWD and not because I availed a promotiknal rate. This really broke my heart and the next breakfast meals I had are insulting on how small portions are. I talked to the nice guy and he told me that many guest have already complained about this and yet the management does not heed or listen. Maybe this is also the reason why during my second day they asked me to put in a deposit. Very insulting for me! How a nice place could be changed to one of the worst place to stay in the area due to discremination. This has ruined my perceptikn of the place because I really do not understand why there should be discrimination for PWDs and Seniors.
