Hotel berhampiran Galleria Macca, Cagliari

I do recommend this accommodation Excellent Location very clean superb staff very quiet very comfortable and also I loved the shower :-) I had a lovely stay For me it was convenient because it was very close to the train station 2 minutes walking ( just one stop train ride from the airport ) and also I was using the train for my next destination Besides it’s very close to the center city You can walk to everywhere The host gave me good restaurants suggestions I would stay there again and again That’s the place to stay in Cagliari!!!

Hotel Flora is located 3 min walk from train/bus station, near plenty of restaurants. We walked all famous sightseeing spots in Cagliari from hotel, even to San Benedetto market. Room has a good space, 102 had a nice balcony with nice table and comfy chairs where you can enjoy nice evening. Very solid building, so no noise from other guests. The best of all is the service. Cleaner, front, waiters at the restaurant, They are friendly, helpful, and professional. Great choice of breakfast. What else you can ask the hotel!? We will stay here again if we ever has a chance to go back to Cagliari.

L'unico lato positivo di questa struttura è che si trova a due passi dal centro. Per il resto esperienza da dimenticare! La struttura ha uno sgradevole odore di stantio che si sente persino dalla strada e che in camera è davvero fastidioso, inoltre nei corridoi aleggia sempre un forte odore di fumo di sigaretta. Per raggiungere le camere è necessario inerpicarsi su una (o due!) lunga e ripida scalinata che, avendo un paio di bagagli non leggerissimi al seguito, rischia anche di essere piuttosto pericolosa. Avevamo prenotato la camera con colazione, salvo poi scoprire che la ”colazione” consisteva in un ”kit” lasciato direttamente in camera (biscotto e fetta biscottata + una bustina di tè). Se fosse stato segnalato che la colazione era di tal fatta non avremmo certo pagato l'extra! Ci è capitato di chiedere un rotolo di carta igienica aggiuntivo e non era disponibile. La doccia aveva più o meno le dimensioni di una bara! E' abbastanza facile posteggiare in zona, ma quasi esclusivamente a pagamento e solo in strada. La via in cui si trova la struttura è piuttosto rumorosa sino a tarda sera e dalla mattina presto.

I would highly recommend Hotel Italia. The rooms are pretty plain and simple , but clean and the bathroom has an excellent shower and modern fittings. The air conditioning worked really well and there is a fridge stocked with a few free drinks which was nice. Some of the rooms have balconies. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and only paper cups to drink from. The breakfast room/bar is nice and light and spacious and there is a lovely terrace area to sit outside. It was a bid odd that the terrace is closed between 10.30am and 12 noon, but the rest of the time it is open and we enjoyed a few cocktails there. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is really central. It is on a pedestrianised street so no traffic noise, we were on the 4th floor so well away from any street noise at all. Our only disappointment was the quality of the breakfast. Hot water and black coffee are put out in large silver urns at 7am with no insulation or heating, so by around 9am they are tepid. Consequently everyone was ordering fresh drinks from the coffee machine at the bar, which are great and for no extra charge, however it meant that one of the 2 breakfast staff was fully occupied making hot drinks. Therefore food on the buffet was frequently running out and not replenished. The choice on the buffet was quite poor. It would have been lovely to have some fresh, sliced tomatoes and also better quality bread. The pineapple being served was almost rotten. The cakes looked good. One of our party was Vegan and all they could offer was some gluten free cakes, dry crackers and bread. As we hadn’t made them aware beforehand of this, we hoped that once they were aware they may have provided something better the next days, but unfortunately not. We enjoyed our honeymoon at this hotel. Luxury, atmosphere, friendly and professional service, dependable facilities, beautiful wellness area, cocktails, fresh seafood, a few minutes drive from the airport. We would absolutely come back, highly recommend! Had a lovely conversation with the property manager who was extremely customer focused and had visions of even a better service. The staff there is also the same, ready to serve and accommodate. Thank you for the lovely experience!

The building is beautifully designed and very elegant. Our room is extremely comfortable with all the amenities expected from a modern bedroom. This includes the ability to use our Netflix account projected onto a TV screen. The rooftop terrace is just perfect with a lovely covered section where we have set up 2 comfy chairs and footstools. The restaurant meals are excellent and plentiful. If you wanted to you could spend all your time here. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here. The staff are courteous and helpful. Bravo this was a great choice.👏👏

The hotel is relatively central and located in a residential area. The building and the area breathes the early 80s and indeed, also the room was having those characteristics. The reception is not hyper modern, but welcoming. The staff very kind and available. We went to our room and the room was relatively spacious, with two simple beds, a nighttable, a desk, tv, a kitchenett hidden in a wardrobe. There was also a quite large balcony, with a decent view over the area (but disturbed by the cars noise). When entering the room, one entered a small hall with a decently spacious wardrobe, and in fron, the bathroom with a shower. The bathroom had plenty of towels and all needed for a shower, not much space to put things on. It was having a very strong touch from the beginning of the 80s if we talk of style. Everything was quite clean, but it is clear that everything is a bit outdated. The furniture was a bit torn. The first night there was not exactly calm. Without closing the door to the entry, one could hear plenty of movements in the corridor. The A/C was very noisy and the fridge from the kitchen was not quiet either. The second night I turned off the A/C, closed the door, and moved slightly the fridge so it stop muttering. The breakfast was very italian - but also very cosy in a sense. One could order all sort of morning beverage from the bar. The cappuccino was outstanding and the staff incredibly kind. The food was mostly prepacked items, except for some fresh pastries. There was also gluten-free items, a decent choice of them. Three different juices were available (but they felt quite artificial), it was possible to get toast, some ham and cheese, if one wanted and fruit. Considering location/parking/atmosphere, I think the hotel was a little bit expensive. Considering the ”cosyness” one was getting after a while, it was probably well deserved. The hotel had also tennis fields and an indoor pool (and a gym, I think). But we didn't try any of these. The tennis court seemed quite popular.

Service was phenomenal, the staff there were very friendly and caring, any problem or request and my needs were met. The hotel is very clean, the area is quiet with no disturbances during our stay. Room was equipped with AC which was very nice after coming in from the heat. The room was clean, with the beds being very comfy. The only negative to this place is that it’s in the middle of no where, in order to get there from the airport it’s either a 2 hour walk (have to walk around the motorways) or have to get a €20 taxi. In addition to this, it’s another 30 minutes roughly bus ride to the centre, and a good 20 minute walk to the closest shops. The hotel itself was excellent however the location is a really big negative to staying there. If you don’t have a car it’s not worth staying unless you can sort out travel.
