Hotel berhampiran Passeggiata Lungomare Sant＇Elia, Cagliari

The B&B is centrally located but the quality and service are both quite poor. Our air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night. It would run for a while and then shut off and the room got very hot. The doors to the apartment and all the rooms make a loud buzzing sound when you use the electronic key. This is a problem because you hear a lot of loud buzzing from the other rooms as people are coming and going. I discussed both issues with the owner but he explained neither is a problem. He said the air conditioning worked (it didn’t) and he said the sound the doors make exists in all hotels and isn’t annoying because it’s not continuous (never heard such a sound and definitely annoying). We also weren’t super happy with the quality of the room. Everything is just cheap ikea and it’s already showing quite a bit of wear. There also wasn’t anywhere to put your suitcase or to sit in the room (other than the bed). You should also be aware that there is no staff on site and all communication with the owner is over WhatsApp.

This is a unique boutique hotel experience. The concept is a great one for artist lovers and those who crave something distinctive while across from the Port in Cagliari. Our room was stunningly decorated and a treat to come to. HOWEVER, it was unbearably small. I would recommend that you consider the largest room available. We had little room for our luggage and had to climb over things to get to the other side of the room. We are small statured people and it was still a struggle. The hotel is green conscious. Had great food, and the best coffee on the island. If you require dependable WiFi and internet, DO NOT STAY HERE. The connection dropped throughout our 5 day stay and on our last evening, the power went out for the entire evening, over a 12 hour period. For about 5 hours, the power came on and off, but kept kicking off. We were never provided with an explanation for it, just that our side of the building was affected and that they were looking into the situation. At 12 midnight, I demanded an explanation, and the staff person basically said that they were told the matter would be fixed by the city centre by 9PM BUT by midnight there was nothing that could be done according to the staff. By 9PM there was NO POWER to us until approximately 7AM and nothing was offered to us to make up for the situation. I asked for a refund for the evening but the working staff refused to accommodate us, they had no authority to follow through with anything. We had prepaid through our travel agent, who now tells us that we needed to deal with the hotel directly. Our time on Sardinia was a lovely dream come true, HOWEVER, this last night has left a real sour experience to our holiday.

Dit kleine guesthouse heeft 3 kamers. Wij hadden de kleinste maar voor ons was deze ruim genoeg. Kamer is geheel wit met antiek bed. Mooie, niet al te grote, badkamer. Verblijf inclusief koffie thee water en sapjes. Ligging is perfect doordat vlakbij haven ligt en veel restaurants in directe omgeving. Beneden woonkamer/keuken waar je gebruik van kunt maken. Heerlijke toiletartikelen van Aqua di Parma. Iedere ochtend was Fabrizio aanwezig voor eventuele vragen. Krijgt code om guesthouse binnen te gaan. Wij zouden het zo weer boeken.

The rooms were clean and spacious enough for two people. We really liked the location as it was central and close to everything, including the bus station. The bathroom was well equipped and even had a bidet. The staff was very helpful and they always tried their best to answer any questions we had. They even helped find contact numbers for parks we wanted to visit, and explained where to go. Breakfast was quite nice and had a nice selection of different foods and desserts every morning. The room seemed to always be warm, sometimes a little too warm. The only way to cool it down was through a window, though cooking smells from the restaurant next door would waft in. We would have liked it better if we had control over the air-conditioning in the room. We would have liked to have a kettle in the room for tea, but it wasn't a big issue since the hotel is surrounded by great cafés. We also ate dinner at the hotel, and though the food was delicious, it was a little pricey compared to the many restaurants in the vicinity. You might want to explore the area for more selection and possibly better prices for food. Overall, we had a lovely time and we look forward to visiting again. It was great value for our money, and it's a good place to stay if you want quick access to most of the interesting sites in the area.

5 stars all round! I stayed here for my birthday & the hosts are so hospitable. They gave us so much information about the island, how to get around & the fun things happening every night. Don’t hesitate! Just book a room here because you will not regret it! Staying here made my trip so much better. I came with my friend & we had separate rooms. The rooms are beautiful & were cleaned and towels were replaced everyday. They also have good security which made me feel safe. I will absolutely go back one day. Thank you so much Eja Sardinia! I was disappointed from my experience here. The gym and pool were closed & I was told that it was due to Covid- that should be advertised on their website. The WiFi didn't work in the bedroom and the walls are so thin, it felt like the screaming children running down the halls at 2am and 7am were in my room. The shower door was also broken in the bathroom and although the staff were lovely at breakfast, the breakfast itself wasn't good.

We had a wonderful time at Best Western. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with many places easily accessible on foot (restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc.). The room was sparkling clean, and the staff was absolutely amazing! I truly want to express my gratitude for making my trip extremely enjoyable and unforgettable.

Small paradise with a swimming pool in a beautiful garden, surrounded by flamingos that you can watch from your balcony and very nice staff at your disposal. Spacious rooms, super comfy beds and nice subtle design. We stayed just one night during our roadtrip in Sardegna but enjoyed the stay very much.
