We arrived at the hotel around 1.30pm and we were able to check in straight away, the girl on reception was very friendly and explained where our room was as there are 2 towers . We were on the 10th floor with a city view. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved how they are helping with environmentally keys for your door which are just round bamboo disks and also having no plastic bottles in the fridges, just glass bottles. All tv programs were free so we’re able to watch new release movies and free wifi . We had booked a holiday package , so we also had free car parking and a $250 credit to use at any of their hotels . Would definitely stay here again .

Crystalbrook Bailey was my stopover hotel so I wasn't expecting anything flash etc however when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful and modern this hotel is. Such a change to a lot of the older Cairns hotels. I felt like I was in a hotel in Melbourne! Check in was a breeze and staff were lovely, I was in my room in no time at all. There is alot of stunning modern artworks all throughout the building, very cool to find as you make your way to your floor. The room was beautiful and sufficient for a one nights stay, I could have easily stayed for longer! The location is great, in the city and close to the esplanade. I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice hotel and staff within easy walking distance to the Reef terminal and esplanade where there are many restaurants and shopping. Room had a small balcony with a view of the cruise ships coming into cairns. Room was spacious and clean. had a welcome bottle of Prosecco from the staff for my Wife's Birthday!! very nice!! Highly recommend this hotel (has a nice pool too!!).

We booked a private double which was clean, comfortable with a nice ensuite! We loved the location and despite it being on the main strip of bars and restaurants it was very quiet in the room. We also loved the balcony in the kitchen which looked out across the ocean. We didn't use the kitchen but it was very well equipped. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Cairns! The discounted food and drinks in a couple of restaurants was very much appreciated!

We stayed at Oak Carins for one quick evening before departing for a liveaboard cruise. The check in was quick and our stay was nice and comfortable. The only issue is that we booked the stay through our airline and requested an ocean view room. Unfortunately, the systems didn’t sync and Oak Carins oversold ocean view rooms and we were stuck with a different view. The staff tried to accommodate with a breakfast voucher but we couldn’t accept as we were leaving before their kitchens opened. So we were told that we would be credited back a refund…but there are so many stages/3rd parties, I doubt we will ever see it, but appreciate them trying. Would recommend if you are in Cairns and need a reasonably priced place to stay that is walking distance to the activities in the city.

We recently spent two nights at the Pacific Hotel Cairns and found it to be good value, well located and clean. The room was modern and the beds really comfortable. The only downside was the view onto the parking lot but we didn't book to enjoy the view from the room so that was fine. Also have a nice buffet breakfast at a reasonable price. We look forward to going back again soon.

1) It was a nightmare checking-in. I reached the hostel at 6:30pm and realized that there was no reception but to use Goki for checking-in. However, I received a notice from Goki that ”no reservation” after keying in my confirmation number. I got a shock and kept asking for help from strangers within the hostel. By the time I got it solved, it was like 8:30pm and I was starved to death. 2) Though Goki is an easy system but u need to bring your mobile everywhere you go even to the toilet eg shower (what happen if you forget to bring out the phone); there was a time my phone was almost out of battery (1% left) and I have to quickly charge it by borrowing charger from others. 3) There is no window in my room (single) and the air-con temperature is beyond my control 4) The reception area only opens till 2pm daily, after which you have to make call for any housekeeping services. It really pose inconveniences for first timer who wants to know about Cairns in terms of the directions, places of interests etc. 5) The location is excellent but I don't think I will recommend this hostel to my friends in future.

The Abbott Cairns is a boutique hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in these are the reasons why.central to all in Cairns 10 minute stroll to cruise terminal.5 minute stroll to Esplanade. Excellent hotel rooms friendly staff go that extra mile to make your stay that little bit more special.Paul greeted us on arrival and the next morning even offered to drive us down to cruise terminal which we gladly accept .We are now back after our cruise and we're greeted by Peter our room is beautiful.if you are looking for a secure clean comfortable place to stay The Abbott Cairns is the place. we have travel a lot stayed in many hotels this one is excellent

I booked this room because I wanted my own space, bathroom and kitchenette close to the city. This was exactly what I wanted, about 10-15 min walk from most places in Cairns, aircon, quiet and enough space to chill in. It's definitely on the higher end of price - I paid ~$155 / night, but it was worth it in my opinion.
