Ulasan The Village Cairns

There are share restroom among entire floor. The facilities in the restroom need to be upgrade due to not function well The location wise is easy to travel everywhere. There are Woolworths just few step away from the stay

We’ve stayed at a The Village hostel in Canberra before and had a rather good experience, this was our first time in Cairns and we greatly appreciated their hospitality once again! The hostel was huge, the rooms were very spacious and we overall were offered everything we needed (laundry room, all equipped kitchen, bathrooms, etc). It was a short stay but we really enjoyed how close the hostel was from the local pool and night market! It’s a 20-min taxi drive from the airport (note that there’s no public transport in this area of the city). Would definitely recommend The Village overall, why not try some of their other locations in the upcoming future!

Overall was really good

1) It was a nightmare checking-in. I reached the hostel at 6:30pm and realized that there was no reception but to use Goki for checking-in. However, I received a notice from Goki that "no reservation" after keying in my confirmation number. I got a shock and kept asking for help from strangers within the hostel. By the time I got it solved, it was like 8:30pm and I was starved to death. 2) Though Goki is an easy system but u need to bring your mobile everywhere you go even to the toilet eg shower (what happen if you forget to bring out the phone); there was a time my phone was almost out of battery (1% left) and I have to quickly charge it by borrowing charger from others. 3) There is no window in my room (single) and the air-con temperature is beyond my control 4) The reception area only opens till 2pm daily, after which you have to make call for any housekeeping services. It really pose inconveniences for first timer who wants to know about Cairns in terms of the directions, places of interests etc. 5) The location is excellent but I don't think I will recommend this hostel to my friends in future.

에어컨이 바로 위에 붙어있어서 찬바람 그대로 맞았는데 안에 곰팡이가  쓸어 있었어요  그리고 밑에 쓰는 사람한테 나는 냄새였는지는 모르겠지만 너무 냄새가 심해서 방에 들어오기 싫었어요

服務很滿意，前台小哥真的超級棒，服務很到位，親自示範，室友也很熱情，位置也很好，太愛這個店啦！下次還要來！

위치 정말 좋아요! 어디든 걸어다닐 수 있고, 바로앞 마트에서 장봐서 공용식당에서 요리해먹을수 있습니다. 직원도 다 친절하고 침실도 민족스럽고 시설도 나쁘지 않아요! 단점은 샤워실에 하수구냄새가 좀 나고, 종종 화재경보가 울려서 단체로 대피한다는점....

La ubicación es lo mejor del lugar. No te dejan utilizar las instalaciones hasta la hora del check in, por lo general puedes esperar en el lounge. Las áreas comunes son espaciosas y cómodas. La habitación que me tocó de 8 personas era un caos de cosas, me imagino que se hospedaba gente por long term. Estaría bueno que dividan a los long term de los viajeros casuales.

大家Check-in 前要下載 Goki住宿的門禁Apps。環境可以的，挺隔音的，但我地check-in的日子是聖誕節正日，我們晚上8點多的時候過來，但前台没有任何職員，我們在前台門口等待了超過1小時，不段聯絡香港的線上客服才能成功入住。希望前台的同事可以協調得更加好。

全エリア最強Wi-Fiのおかげで渡航中の最小限の通信で済み、不便はしませんでした。物理鍵はないのでGOKIというアプリでBluetoothで全ドア開錠します。朝ごはんは、パン、シリアル、ヨーグルト、牛乳、コーヒー、ジャムなど基本パン食のものが揃っています。7:30-10:00までバイキングでスタッフの方が並べてくれます。食器カトラリーは自分で洗いましょう。フレッシュフルーツはないので、建物の一、二件先のスーパーマーケットで買ってくるといいと思います。 立地は抜群、リーズナブルです。タオルはオーストラリアローカルと同じで毎日交換されないので、必要の際は追加料金を払ってください。

窓付きの部屋を予約したが窓なし。価格はそのままでした。 朝食は冷蔵庫にあるものから自分で作る形。ほか宿泊者の私物も冷蔵庫にあるのでどれを使っていいか分からず、結局パンかシリアルしか食べられませんでした。部屋の掃除はごみ捨てのみ。階段だけなので荷物が多い人は大変です！
