Facilities: If you're comparing it to similar hotels in my home country, it's really bad. Don't expect much at all. Cleanliness: It's okay, that's just how Cairo is. Environment: Very noisy, and the room isn't soundproofed. All rooms have balconies, so you can clearly hear the sounds from downstairs. The religious ceremonies downstairs early in the morning were very loud. Service: I suggest Ctrip (or Trip.com) thoroughly check this room type, as I don't think it matched the room type I booked.

Fantastic from start to finish. It was a short 1 night stay but was spoilt for choice with restaurants and amenities. Every member of staff went above and beyond. Very quick and helpful check-in by Sahonda. Thank you. Pool view was amazing

The hotel is really nice, the lobby is impressive, someone plays piano every night, our kids enjoyed the pool very much. The only thing is there is not a lot of walkable places nearby. You have to get a cab if you want to go anywhere.

Honestly, my experience was really bad. I told the staff at least three times 'no finish,' but they still cleared my breakfast, even though I hadn't touched most of it. And to top it off, they gave my table to a white person. I have no idea what kind of operation this is. When I questioned him, he pretended not to hear me. It wasn't until I loudly asked him in front of everyone if he did it on purpose that he feigned an apology, saying it was a mistake.

This is my second time in Cairo and second time in Sofitel. For sure I can recommend this hotel.perfect location,very nice view,high level conditions.
