The check in had small problem but satisfactorily resolved Room was fine, newly renovated floor. Would have been nice to have dressing gowns. Also nice pool but no gym. Breakfast was good buffet and good service. Location by the river Nile, and easy access by taxi, but not so for walking and metro station is around 10min walk away

We were at the Ritz Carlton Nile for a three night long weekend. The hotel is superb, with large and spacious rooms and bathrooms, cleanliness was at a superb level. Extremely comfortable beds and a great view from the room (mine was overlooking the Nile). The hotel is in close proximity to the Egyptian Museum, the Nile River and Tahrir Square. We walked several times, including in the evening - the area is busy but seems very safe, only crossing the streets is a bit tricky in the traffic. I had taken a room with access to the club lounge, which turned out to be an extremely good choice. Check-in and check-out was in this club lounge, as was breakfast. In the evening from 5 to 8 they have a happy hour which turned out to be a real dinner with a choice of several hot dishes (it was exceptionally good all three days) as well as a choice of cocktails. I am extremely impressed with the service in the lounge which was 7 stars...There was a concierge in the lounge, with these concierges I was able to organize both trips to the pyramids and to Cairo and the whole trip to Egypt in general. They were extremely responsive and were able to accommodate all my requests. Thank you Sara Muhammed, Sandra Elhamy, Marize Adel and your boss Ahmed Rami. I highly recommend the hotel...

A wonderful stay with a caring professional staff. The location is also amazing, walking distance to the Egyptian Museum, Zamalek, and Tahrir square. If we consider Egyptian standards, this hotel in Cairo is probably one of the best. If we refer to the European standards of 5-star Kempinski hotels, there would be a lot to correct. From the fact that the staff should respects privacy (they just walk into the room, while I were naked going to shower and then leave, without apologizing and laughing loudly), to the fact that there is a glass screen in the shower (same in 3 different rooms) leaking water, floods the bathroom or, say, the security service harassing you at 2 in the morning because of a ”suspicious” item in the suitcase, although the same thing was in the suitcase of the previous two arrivals and no one paid attention (it was a steam iron). In general, the staff is forced to be polite and they are very slow. Just a very kind restaurant receptionist and one nice waiter in Osman restaurant. I believe that this is the maximum that Kempinski manages to achieve in terms of its own standards considering the mentality of Egypt.

The hotel and staff were phenomenal. The reason I took one smile away for facility, was I wanted to get a pedicure and they gave a referral in the mall that was terrible. They should not refer anyone there; it was uncomfortably juvenile in the environment. I ended up leaving after waiting 30 minutes listening to workers talk, argue, show pictures on each other's phones. Other than that, it was an incredible experience. Khaled Abdelkhalek with the concierge was outstanding. He was taking care of every need. I booked 2 tours thru 4 Seasons with Marwa, she is on an entirely different universe, so intelligent, kind, intuitive, and I could keep going with praise. If you ever need a tour, she is the one for you!! I also had Mohammed as the driver, between Marwa and Mohommed, they are the dynamic duo. I feel so fortunate and honored to have met and been able to spend time with them. I had several hours to wait for my flight, so I sat in the lobby and had something to eat and drink, they were so accommodating. I do not recall if her name was Daliah or Liza but she was great. Took care of me and was very kind. I travel a lot alone, and it can be tricky sometimes, but the people at the 4 Seasons made it seamless and like home!

We booked this hotel for 3 nights thru Agoda. Five minutes after we got in the room we walked out. The bottom of the bathtub was dark gray from dirt. The chair was very much worn out, and there was disgusting stain on the bad sheet. We showed it to the receptionist and he told the owner or manager. They told us, he was the owner. We told them that we are leaving and asked if they were willing to refund our money. We were told yes but only thru agoda. However I could not cancel it thru agoda because it was after check in date. I sent e mail to agoda but no response and I could not find a phone number for them.

General impression - a normal place to stay for a few nights. Perfect location nearby Egyptian Museum and the Sadat subway station. But this causes a very noisy surrounding: honking cars move just beneath the windows all day long. Helpful staff. A very nice cafe La Poire accessible without leaving the building. Good breakfast, a lot of options changing daily. Coffee could have been better though. The room was cleaned (I moved two beds together and found no dust underneath), but it's quite weary. The window lock didn't work, the fridge was loud. Black mold in the shower was upsetting, too. No iron nor ironing board in the room, but ironing service available at a reasonable price about 50 EGP per piece.

Staying at Novotel was a great experience, the hotel was nice loved my room!! Only few things I was disturbed how I asked for an iron & ironing board they kept taking it out of my room, when I needed it for my whole stay 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🙃!! Secondly the jacuzzi wasn't hot so I can enjoy on my last day of stay. Lastly there was no microwave in the room but a mini fridge??! Usually hotels come with both. Other then that the hotel was great, the food I had to adjust to & the front desk person that checked me in & out was awesome!! Great customer service.

Very professional 5-start hotel in the center of Cairo. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have all the information and assistance you need! We had a nice view of the Nile. Restaurants at the hotel are very good. Will come back again!

I stayed here with my dad for two nights. It’s in a downtown area which was pretty fun and I really liked the breakfast it was very tasty and also big. The bed was comfy but my dad found it a bit loud (it didn’t wake me up though). Also the air conditioning worked great and there was a cute ginger and white cat sleeping on a car outside 🐈

Amazing place. Keroles was amazing to host me at the place. They even help me have my luggage stay so I can travel to Luxor and Aswan . Their breakfast is great and they can help you exchange currency, guiding for other bookings. Internet can improve a bit but it's downtown. Worth for the price we pay.

This hostel has a good location and I would say that it is pretty walkable in the early morning and very late at night but the walking infrastructure is not the best in Cairo. Mid day the traffic makes it very tricky to walk around even though there are many good restaurants and attractions nearby. Finding it is a little tricky but it is down an alley that doesn't allow cards and it is located on floor 2 of an older building. There is an elevator but all doors and gates need to be closed in order for it to work and we found guests at the hostel weren't good at closing after themselves. The staff are very kind and welcoming but we got a bit hung up on the payment. We booked on Trip with the ”Pay at the Hotel” option for 3100 Egyptian pounds for three nights in a private room but they were asking for 3600 when we were checking in. After a little back and forth they let us check in and gave us the keys so we could rest and wait for the manager's answer. The manager said no to our booked rate, we were told we booked on Expedia and we now had to pay 3900 Egyptian pounds. I'm at a loss of words for this discrepancy between Trip and the hostel but there weren't better deals in the area we wanted to stay and we very reluctantly paid. The room was just a place to sleep with a box to the side where our shower and toilet were. The box had no ceiling or ventilation so there were smells throughout the room from the drains. The beds were comfy but were not completely clean when we arrived - there was hairs in the bed sheets. The room cleanliness overall could have been better. The area is quiet at night and we got a good night's rest to spend our days exploring Cairo. The breakfast was ok but there wasn't much room to eat in the common areas during our stay so we asked for breakfast in our room during our stay. We had a simple breakfast with a fried egg, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, banana, tea/coffee and Arabic bread. It is enough to get you through until lunch and is served starting at 8 pm. There is a convenience store close by that offers fairly priced snacks and drinks which you might want to seek out because they do not provide water at this hostel. We hope this property improves because it seems like it used to be really good and the location is good as well.

Ich hatte kaum Zeit, diese Unterkunft zu bewerten. Das liegt daran, dass ich daran hänge und ich dachte, mein Text wäre lang. Jetzt habe ich endlich mal Zeit dafür. Im Folgenden schreibe ich meine Meinung als Backpacker-Mutter mit zwei Kindern. 1, Gastfreundschaft ist über den Preis hinausgeht.    2, Das gesamte Personal ist wunderbar. Es gibt kein Personal, das Kunden eine schlechte Laune macht, weder bei Kindern noch bei Erwachsenen. 3, Die Staffs sind großzügig und tolerant gegenüber ihren Gästen. Sie sind sehr bemüht, Kunden zu begeistern. 4, 24 Stunden täglich geöffnet. An dem Tag, an dem ich in Kairo ankam, hatte der Zug fünf Stunden Verspätung. Ich kam um 3 Uhr morgens im Hotel an und alles war in Ordnung, und das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. 5, Der Standort ist der beste. 6, Internetverbindung ist der Hammer. 7, Frühstück ist der Hammer 8, Die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut. 9, Wäscheservice ist verfügbar. Die Gebühr wird pro Kleidungsstück berechnet. Ich wollte sie eigentlich selbst waschen, aber ich habe mich an die dortigen Regeln gehalten. Ich möchte, dass sie mit diesem Teil Geld verdienen. Aber bitte Waschmittel etwa weniger. 10, Wir blieben in einem Zimmer mit einer Gemeinschaftstoilette. Die Kinder und ich konnten die Toilette und die Dusche sauber und bequem benutzen. Ich sah die Professionalität des Personals, das aufrichtig und geschickt mit einigen der schlimmsten Gäste umging, die die Gemeinschaftsräume verschmutzten. 11, Ich war insgesamt einen Monat lang in Ägypten unterwegs und habe diese Unterkunft in Kairo für die letzten neun Tage genutzt. Wir waren auf einer anstrengenden Rucksacktour und ich schlug vor, die letzten zwei Tage in einem Fünf-Sterne-Hotel wie dem Grand Hyatt zu verbringen, um den Kindern eine Freude zu machen, aber sowohl mein 14-jähriger Sohn als auch meine 10-jährige Tochter sagten, dass sie das Freedom Hostel vorziehen würden. ★Einige Leute beschweren sich über das Fehlen von Auzug, aber bleiben solche Leute in einem Sternehotel, bitte. Als Rucksacktouristin bin ich eine Mutter vor 50 mit zwei aktiven Teenagers, der sich nicht über das Treppensteigen beschwert. Danke, dass Sie meinen Kindern so viele Erinnerungen an ihre letzte Kairo-Reise nach Ägypten geschenkt haben. Wir werden wieder kommen.
