位置應該不錯，離汽車站很近，走過去十幾分鍾。樓下有很大的超市和購物中心。估計是這個城市最大的商業羣。房間衞生各種條件就是標準的宜必思酒店。既沒有有些評論説的那麼差，也沒有那麼好。作為中轉酒店非常合適。早餐也還不錯。

Lo mejor del hotel fue la atención del personal; estuvieron siempre atentos y dispuestos a solucionar cualquier inconveniente. Fuimos recibidos con un trago de bienvenida y por ser los primeros en hacer el check in en la nueva recepción del hotel, nos asignaron una habitación superior a la contratada. Las habitaciones estaban impecables, todo muy lindo y funcionando a la perfección; los espacios eran amplios y cómodos. El desayuno estuvo muy rico y variado. El restaurante es un 10: productos de calidad, muy bien preparados y presentados. Tiene estacionamiento bien protegido dentro de la propiedad y con personal de seguridad. Lo único que no nos gustó fue la cama: el colchón fue incómodo y las almohadas demasiado blandas.

Our expectations were not high - Calama is not exactly a tourist city, and we expected the hotel to be very plain and geared towards visiting workers, but it was very nice! Lots of spacious, comfortable public areas, and a comfortable, well-equipped room. Breakfast was good - eggs cooked to order - and dinner in the restaurant was fine, which meant we did not have to venture into the centre at night (although the city seems to have had a lot of money spent on it since we first visited in 2013). The location, on the edge of the city near the airport also meant meant that it was easy to find without having to navigate your way through the city - although slightly complicated on this occasion by nearby roadworks. The outdoor swimming pool looked nice, though we did not use it because of the high UV levels! The prices were very low for the quality provided. Secure parking on site.

Con 22 grados afuera, tienen centralizado el tema del aire y me cociné en la pieza. Las piezas estan tan pegadas que se escucha todo lo que hace la persona que está en la pieza de al lado. Las chapas de las puertas requieren hacer fuerza para poder cerrar, por ende el festival de los portazos. Desayuno: MALO

The rooms -- including bathrooms -- are tiny, which did not bother us as digital nomads because they still offered a lot of storage. The first floor lobby spills into an enormous dining room/work hall with plenty of seating and a variety of table heights (great for me to work sitting then move to a standing position). Lots of natural light and you can people watch through the windows. 24 hour attention @ the front desk and wifi speeds work GREAT in the room and best in the lobby. Brekkie is included in your rate and very good compared to other breakfasts we have eaten throughout our stay in Chile, including eggs made to order. Cafeteria offers buffet style or a la carte lunch + dinner. The sandwich we had for dinner was average, but keep in mind there are not many restaurants open on a Sunday in the area. Secure, off-street parking and we found that ~33% of the front desk staff we encountered spoke some English. NEGATIVES: 1) The room size is tight, but fine, except that there did not seem to be much air flow. This led to us sleeping with the window cracked for circulation, but the street noise is a distraction throughout the night. Bring ear plugs. 2) The included gym is a good thought but does not have free weights/weight lifting equipment; only cardio. For ~$6 USD/$5000 CHP there is a full gym 1 block away where you can buy a day pass. 3) Hotel contract mentions a safe in the room, but we did not see one in ours?! That would have been a useful touch. 4) I know the hotel cannot help its location, but I do not believe this is in the ”best” area of town. That being said, Calama is a bit rough anyway so the entire city itself statistically is not as safe as the aggregate of Chile. Case in point, EVERYONE tells you to not be out after sunset and the day of our arrival a poor teen was stabbed ~5 blocks from the hotel. This does not reflect in my rating of the hotel, but travelers should know that going into Calama/this hotel.
