We stayed here for 1 week and was surprised for a 3 star how good and clean it was, well done to the cleaning staff. Yes our room was a bit tired but was good. Good location for the beach but it was cold when we stayed in December 2024, it's a shame the pool was not heated as we had some sun for a few hours a day but the pool was freezing. The food choice was fairly good but a lot of fish which i don't like but it was very tasty when meat dishes were layed on. It was surprisingly hot compared to some hotels we have stayed at. Not much desert choice as it was all mouse and hardly any cake just 1 choice if you were lucky. Breakfast was ok some morning English sausage and bacon then the next none so you had to eat the Spanish reformed smoked bacon and 1 choice of pastry. The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was to which smelt lovely when the cleaner had been it which is top marks to the cleaning staff. Reception were great and friendly when we arrived i just wish when you checkout they would ask if you enjoyed your stay instead of just handing your key card over. A lot of hotels do this and find it very impersonal, The food was on too late for us 7:30 pm and the entertainment was 9:30 pm so buy the time you had eaten your were to full to drink more and watch the entertainment which from the sound was all in Spanish anyway so we went back to our room. It was a good Hotel but tired rooms and would go back but find Calpe to quiet for us as not much happening at night time.

Perfect in every way We have just returned from a week in this hotel. We stayed in a double sea view room and the views were spectacular. The room was extremely comfortable/ spotlessly clean/ modern and had everything that you need. The hotel has thought of everything including complimentary toiletries/ bathrobes & slippers/ coffee machine/ safe/fridge and a hairdryer. Our bathroom had a double shower,all fixtures & fittings modern & efficient. The room was cleaned daily/ towels replenished as needed. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Cocktails available in the beautiful chill out area were particularly refreshing. The staff in this hotel are a credit to the hospitality industry. Each one of them always aimed to please and were friendly/ polite and attentive. Highly recommended and we will definitely return without a doubt 🥰 Thank you to all the staff for a memorable stay.

Review of AR Diamante Beach, Calpe Our stay at AR Diamante Beach in Calpe was a mixed experience, with some positive aspects overshadowed by significant disappointments. While the hotel has great potential and hints at its former grandeur, it falls short of delivering a 4-star superior experience. Pros: Staff: The staff were excellent and attentive throughout our stay, with special mention to Naidu in the restaurant, who went out of his way to build a lovely rapport with our 10-month-old son. Spa: The spa facilities are enjoyable, though not included in the standard package. Location: Conveniently situated near two supermarkets and within reach of Calpe’s charm. Building & Cleaners: The building itself has potential, and the cleaning staff were thorough and professional. Cons: 1. Hygiene: The cleanliness in the restaurant was off-putting, and the fridge in our original room was dirty. We found ourselves wiping down the superior room's floor with baby wipes, only to discover how unclean it was. 2. Rooms: Our initial standard room was far below expectations, prompting an immediate upgrade request. The newly refurbished superior room was better but still not 4-star quality. The beds were uncomfortable, forcing us to sleep on the sofa bed. The provided cot was appreciated, though the bathroom also lacked the expected standard of luxury. 3. Food & All-Inclusive Option: The food was basic, with limited variety, and the all-inclusive package was not worth the cost. Drinks couldn't be taken to the room, and the lack of quality and choice drove us to downgrade to bed and breakfast after the first night. The Christmas Day Gala dinner was particularly underwhelming, with a lack of atmosphere and many guests leaving early. 4. Entertainment & Atmosphere: The hotel lacked entertainment and any sense of vibrancy, making the stay feel dull and lifeless. Recommendation: While AR Diamante Beach may work for business travelers due to its functional facilities, we wouldn’t recommend it for leisure stays, especially with children. Opting for a room-only or bed-and-breakfast package is advisable, as the dining experience leaves much to be desired. Final Thoughts: This hotel has great potential but desperately needs investment in both its facilities and overall ambiance. With more care, attention, and upgrades, it could become the 4-star superior destination it strives to be. Until then, it remains a shadow of its former self.

Just returned from 10 days in this hotel , party of 7 people in 3 rooms. The maids cleaned everyday, the breakfast is absolutely fine (I only made it once as I like to lie in) , the beds are comfortable , the rooms are clean , shower powerful. The staff are all excellent, helpful and friendly. The sea view is phenomenal from the sea facing rooms and rooftop pool. For a quiet, shaded swim there is also another deeper pool on floor one. We had the best time here and the location is unbeatable for bars, shops and restaurants. Don't pay any attention to the negative reviews , it must be people who like to find things to complain about.

This was short weekend visit , luckily not my holiday, visiting friends , otherwise I would be even more disappointed it. Beds - very hard (make sure you ask for toppers on arrival) Bathrooms - bath full or rust, old mouldy filler around bath, all the accessories in bathroom covered with grease and dust (assuming sunblock spray never cleaned), clearly not cleaned in ages. Floors are never washed in the room during stay so you get black feet walking around from the dust Balcony is not nice, the top of your balcony wall, soooo dirty. Old sunbeds, not comfortable. Zero privacy on the balcony , you can just look at each other as the tiny bit of glass does nothing. Breakfast total shocker, I never ever been anywhere where they cannot make an omelette. Its only continental breakfast with option of eggs . Went for cheese and tomato omelette. I have travelled a lot in my life all over the world, but hands down, this was the worst omelette . It was overcooked, dry and the cheese was hard lump of cheese in the middle, which is not suitable for omelette at all as does not melt, and large slice of tomato in the middle, what chef would even let this leave the kitchen?? Turns out there is no chef there at breakfast but your waiter will cook your omelette. I had one bite and left it, the waiter asked me what is wrong, and I have told him is not good. He then went and cooked my another one ,despite me telling him NO. His Words ”give me another chance, I am not a chef” Believe you me I know he was not a chef after the 1st one ,and the 2nd one was as bad. Is not his fault but the management, who gets waiters to cook your breakfast ?? surely not any reputable hotel??? The staff was polite overall and friendly but would not stay there even if you pay me. So for £400 for 3 nights , complete disappointment.

We always use this hotel and have done so for many years now. It's situation is ideal for both beaches which are easily accessible with mobility scooters, as is the old town. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, from reception to bar to restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble. The choice and variety of dishes in the restaurant is excellent. We are returning in September.

We had a fantastic five-day stay at Port Europa Hotel. As a family of five, we booked two rooms. Each was a double room with a kitchenette and a sofa bed in one and two double beds in the other. The ocean view was gorgeous, and the beach was just a few minutes' walk away. We chose the all-inclusive option and were very satisfied. The buffet offered a nice variety of foods, and the staff was generally very friendly. A special mention goes to Marina from the entertainment team, who was a ray of sunshine. She was always smiling and made sure everyone received attention. Our son especially loved her because she included him in games, translated everything for him, and helped him feel welcome, even though he was a bit shy and didn’t understand Spanish. Thank you for making our stay extra special, Marina! Also, a shout out to Encarni from the bar for being so warm and welcoming and for her professionalism! Overall, it was a wonderful stay with a beautiful beach, spectacular views, and great accommodations. I recommend registering and going for a small hike up the mountain before the tunnel for even more breathtaking views. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk to the old city, with a grocery store nearby if you prefer to cook your own food. Mercadona, a more affordable grocery store, is near the old town and also within walking distance. Additionally, Salinas offers a flamingo pond, a small tourist market, and many nearby restaurants. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation in Calpe!

Meine Schwester und ich waren für 3 Tage in einem Einzelzimmer mit einem großen Bett untergebracht, da sie spontan mit ist. Haben es erst vor Ort im Hotel dazu gebucht. Es war kein Problem und das Zimmer war für uns völlig ausreichend. Sehr sauber, hilfsbereites nettes Personal und das Frühstücksbuffet war der absolute Wahnsinn. Wir kommen aufjedenfall wieder. Die Lage einfach ein Traum😍. Sind von klein auf jährlich in Calpe, aber zum 1. Mal in einem Hotel untergebracht. Wir hatten absulut nichts zu bemängeln. Aufjedenfall weiter zu Empfehlen 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
