What you pay is what you get.
Parking only free for once per day, although the max capped is not much, just a highlight only.
Downstairs got couple of restaurants and convenient store, walking distance to steamboat restaurants and butterfly farm
Unit got some smelled due to wetness

This is not our first time to Nova Highlands. Though there's basic amenities, the price is reasonable too. Cooling weather! Validating of the car park process can be made more seamless.

Check in ikut apps mana kita booked. Trip.com paling awal jam 2.31pm. Check in kena pergi belakang hotel lobi The Retreat sebab area hotel tak ada lobi. Parking boleh parking bawah hotel tapi kalau nak free parking setiap kali nak keluar kena jalan kaki ke lobi Retreat, pastu bru balik basement hotel. Hotel sunyi. Tiada mesin air panas tapi ada cerek dan microwave.Ada hairdyer dalam bilik. Air 2 botol air dan peti ais mini. Bilik 417 ada han... perempuan baju putih..So kalau boleh elakkan bilik ini.

1) I requested the high floor but the first day gave me low floor 3rd floor and a lot insect or mosquito bites me.
2) Parking also not convenient, need to go to the office to redeem parking fees.
3) When I checked out on 12.32pm to fined me RM30, msg didn't replied to me..
4) Overall Not recommended to stay it.

The hotel is really affordable and below photos are the view from a balcony. There are butterfly garden, sheep sanctuary, strawberry farm and so on near Nova Highland Hotel. The room is really big and more than enough to stay with my friends. I really love staying there.

I arrived at around 2pm. I was told the earliest I can check in is at 2.30pm. So we have to wait at the lobby until 2.30pm. At night, as it was raining, there is leaking on the ceiling of the master bedroom. The floor was wet. The door to the sky garden couldn't be locked. As the wind blows, the door and the wind blowing sound makes the entire pent house very uncomfortable to stay. I had to call the housekeeping at 10pm to see what can be done. He could only wipe the wet floor and inform me that the repair can only be done the next morning. He used a clothes to tie the door to the staircase to prevent it from opening.
We were not given the tv remote and I had to walk down to the lobby to request. I couldn't find the telephone in the unit. When I asked the receptionist, she told me there is phone in the apartment to which my entire family members also couldn't find.
I would not recommend this property to anyone.
