Stayed here 19/06/24 When were checking in it was pretty straight forward, only one on person on reception bit silly when you are expecting a guest drop off, first impressions was a clean bright lounge area smelt DEVINE, we were half board originally we where all inclu but hotel changed ut to H/B, wich ment we had to pay for alcohol , I always thought tea/coffee was in with half board sadly not, we spent a small penny on drinks ( not heavy drinkers) Pool only small i wanted a lilo but felt you would get in peoples way because of sml pool , get 1 bottle of water for whole stay ( first night) then you have to buy your own ( annoying) Food was nice and puddings were lovely, staff were nice , i think as it being adults only It would be appreciated if you staff could come ask, if anyone wanted a drink around the pool , i think theres room for improvement in the hotel , be aware your not to drink the water so you have to go and get your own water if you need to weigh your case in the hotel you have to insert a £1' you really do get wat you pay for, Dont think i would rush back but overall decent lil place.

Stayed here after a horribly long journey out. The receptionist guy was really helpful and ensured I got into my room straight away. The next day, I came for breakfast and realised they had freshly made omelette and pancake sections (wonderful). Having a pool and garden to relax in was fabulous. Beach was a straight walk 5 mins away. If you want a toothbrush and toothpaste, just ask at reception. You can borrow a large towel with a refundable deposit. Safe is chargeable in the room. The bed was massive. Evening meals had a big selection of food, as all different nationalitys here. Note that if you want a hotel that has a swimming pool in the sun all day, this is probably not the one for you. I loved it here, though. Many thanks for everything.

Info: We are a couple in our late 20s and booked this hotel for two weeks half board. This was my partner's first ever holiday abroad, I have been on lots of different holidays. This is quite a big review, so the short version is that there is NO AIR CON, it is not an adults only hotel as stated with On The Beach and the food is pretty rubbish, the facilities and entertainment are very poor and staff seem miserable. Long version: Upon arrival, it looked amazing. We were excited about how big it looked, how clean it looked (on the surface) and just happy to be on holiday. We were placed in Block 2 (back right) and were happy with our room initially. However, lots of issues started to arise from this night onwards... AIRCON: THERE IS NONE. Rooms are incredibly warm. I have lived abroad, and this was unreal. There was no relief from the heat, the air con didn't even go over our bed to cool us down when we were sleeping. We reported the next day and said it wasn't working, in which we were told to close the doors and it would work in 5-6 hours. We gave it a couple of days, but alas, to no avail. I went down again, and said the room was far too hot. This was after 2 nights of broken sleep for my partner and no sleep for myself. They said they would get the 'technician' out to look at the air con. We were at the pool all day, so never saw if anyone did come but assumed they had. However, when we went into our room, Aircon was still broken. We gave it one more night just to see but I ended up going down to reception at 3/3:30am crying because of the heat. The receptionist said there was nothing he could do at the moment as all the fans were already being used in the hotel and there were no rooms available for us. He said come down in the morning and ask for a new room. So I pretty much just stayed up until 7 and my partner and I asked for a new room. We were moved on day 6 of our 14 day holiday into the new building and it made a difference. Three vents instead of 2, however still very warm. If you appreciate sleeping, don't book here. FOOD: I am a vegetarian, and my partner is not. My partner says for a buffet the food was average. Lots of veal in different forms pretty much every night. There are no steak knifes and the veal is pretty tough - a minor issue but when it happens 13 times it's a bit rubbish. Lots of fish (which he avoided) and basic meals on rotation. However, I am a vegetarian and the food was awful for me. I could have cried every night. No vegetarian sauces for pasta. It was bolognaise every night. The only food for vegetarians was chips, green beans and spaghetti / pasta. But as I say, this wouldn't be bad if there was a sauce to go with or even some sort of main to go with the chips. I genuinely was deflated with tea every single night. Breakfast was great though and I tried to fill up as much as I could with cornflakes and toast. Desserts we both agreed were great! I would highly highly recommend this hotel , absolutely brilliant and extremely clean. The service from the bar staff and staff in the kitchen was extremely good I can't praise the staff enough always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was ok , the food for dinner was very very good lots of variety to choose from and also very tasty. The rooms were a decent size however the balconies are a little small. Can picafort is a very nice town however not much going on in terms of a lively atmosphere if that is what you are looking for , however a very nice and tidy town for couples and families alike.

We travelled as family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) in 2 twin rooms. The hotel was modern and clean in a great central location. 5 minute walk to beach. Rooms: Nice size, clean, good view of pool, lovely balcony, good selection of TV channels. Maid service every day. But... The rooms had an awful sewage smell when the air conditioning was on. Pools: 4 really good sized outdoor pools for all age groups but water very cold. Dirty and tired looking sunbeds. Ripped towels. There is an indoor pool for children plus an indoor pool / spa for over 16s. Food: Good selection but spolit by the fact both breakfast and evening meal food was cold. Not pleasant eating cold fried eggs and sausages. The glasses looked dirty. No English Breakfast tea bags so bought our own from the supermarket. The fruit is obviously out all night as it was dry. My son was given chicken which was raw in the middle. I complained and was disappointed not to receive an apology. We were also VERY disappointed about food labelling. Nothing to tell you what flavour the cakes or yoghurt or jam was. Just a gamble if it was a flavour you would enjoy. Plus, major point: No allergen info on anything. There is a small games room but the white ball was missing from the pool table and some machines out of order. You need 10 euro deposit to borrow table tennis rackets and ball. The reception staff were lovely, polite and friendly but the restaurant and bistro staff not so much. We had a nice break but would definitely not return.

We have just returned from a family holiday at this hotel and we have had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re staying in can picafort. We only ate in for breakfast so I can’t comment on any other meals there as we didn’t try them but the breakfast was great. They had a good variety of foods to choose from. We did visit quite late in the year (October) so there wasn’t a lot of children at the hotel for my little girl to socialise with. But they still did a mini disco every evening and the mini club was open every day. My only critique was that there wasn’t many structured activities in the mini club whilst we were there so my toddler got bored quite quickly but it may just of been the time of year like I said. The guy that ran the mini disco of an evening was amazing with the kids and did the whole disco every night in both German and English. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy. We struggled for space because we had a travel cot and the pram in the room along with all our belongings so I would recommend upgrading if you’re a family if possible. Our room also only had a shower which was not great for our two year old who is scared of the shower. We would of been better with a bath. The hotel is in a great location - right on the beach. And about a 2 minute walk to the ***** which has lots of restaurants and bars to choose from! I noticed that the hotel and surrounding areas had lots of German tourists which was only an issue for my little girl as she struggled to make friends as there was no English children there at the time. But all the staff tried their best to include her still which was lovely! Overall I would recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Can Picafort.
