"The hotel is increasingly deteriorating. Our team travels for business monthly and frequently stays at this hotel due to its convenient location, although the price is disproportionately high. After this business trip, we decided not to return to Anh Dao 2 because of the extremely poor service of the staff. We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights, from December 11th to December 14th, 2024. The staff assigned us rooms that were dwarfed by the four rooms occupied by nearly 20 Hanoi students. The students were playing and running around outside all night, keeping us awake the first night, and the second night was the same until we had to personally leave our room and speak to them to quiet down, but even then, the noise didn't completely stop. For the first two nights, the staff were indifferent and ignored our concerns, constantly asking for our understanding and only reminding the student group once after we complained twice or three times. The staff also didn't proactively offer to change rooms for us. Only on the third day, when we requested a room change, did they move us to an older room far from the student group's room. The room smelled strongly of mold and was smaller than the one we initially booked. That night, I had a mold allergy and developed a fever and cough all night, but the staff still didn't take this opportunity to appease us. Instead, they told us to go to the end of the street to buy medicine ourselves. Finally, my female friend had to walk 2km to find the only pharmacy around midnight. When checking out, the staff charged us for laundry but then charged extra for both washing and ironing, even though I hadn't requested ironing as I had my own iron. We were extremely disappointed with the Cherry Blossom 2 team on this trip!!!"

"The bungalow was great; it really felt like I was staying in the countryside of the Mekong Delta. The downside is that the tour to see the floating market in Can Tho has an early meeting time, around 5:30 AM, and the location, which is a 20-30 minute drive away, is a disadvantage. However, looking at the accommodation's information, it seems they can arrange boat tours, and the area around this bungalow is part of the tour route, so if you use that, this drawback would be eliminated. The facilities themselves are a matter of personal preference."

"We were allocated this hotel as part of a Mekong Delta tour (see my other reviews). It wasn’t where we expected to be staying and would never have booked this based on previous reviews I guess in terms of value for money in Western terms it would be difficult to get a large bedroom with breakfast for £22/night which is what it was on booking sites when we stayed however we were relieved to only be staying one night. Room was large, moderately clean though needed updating. The staff didn’t speak English (I know we were in Vietnam), weren’t very helpful and didn’t make any effort to communicate via translation apps which we experienced elsewhere. The most rude staff member was when I asked for an omelette for breakfast-the “chef” looked very annoyed that he had been disturbed from looking at his mobile phone. Not a word was spoken. No questions as to what I might want in it, no thank you or your welcome in response to my thanks, no smile. The only time during our whole holiday that I experienced this reception. Breakfast generally wasn’t great-not a great choice and looked unappealing, coffee and tea unpleasant."

"Loved staying at the Nam Bo! The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. Our room was much bigger than expected especially in a boutique hotel, with a bed room and separate sitting area. We were only in Can Tho for one night, and unfortunately it was drizzling. But we sat under the roof on the outside terrace overlooking the river and had a lovely dinner. Breakfast was delicious, kind of a continental plus plus. All the waitstaff were so friendly and helpful. It was nice to stay in a small, cozy property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nam Bo!"

"Unreasonable set-meal policy – confirmed by the hotel I am writing this review after directly discussing the issue with the front desk and hotel management, who have clearly confirmed that this is an official hotel policy, not a misunderstanding by staff. I ordered a lunch set priced at 150,000 VND for one person and simply asked whether two people could share one set. The restaurant stated that a set for one person must be consumed by exactly one person, regardless of whether the food is finished, or if the second person is a child. In my view, this is an unreasonable and customer-unfriendly policy. Once I have paid for a set meal and am not requesting any additional portions or services, how the food is consumed should be the customer’s decision, not something to be regulated. While I acknowledge that the hotel has received my feedback and mentioned escalating it to the group level, this policy is currently in effect and directly impacts the dining experience. I am leaving this review so other customers are aware in advance and can make an informed decision before dining here."
