La Villa du Golf a Cancun Hotel Boutique

If you are looking for a different experience than resorts, this is a wonderful bed and breakfast/ airbnb/ boutique hotel option. We stayed here for 5 nights and had a very comfortable stay. The rooms have traditional Boveda ceilings with a cute balcony (shared) leading down to the pool area. We didnt use the pool but it was nice to look at. The bathroom was big and spacious with a very nice sunken shower area. The villa has a lot of character and breakfast at the big dining table every morning was a nice experience (the staff makes the breakfast fresh in the kitchen based on your order). At the shared breakfast table we got to interact with other couples staying at the villa. It felt personal and homely and that's what we were looking for. A suggestion - adding a coffee machine and a mini fridge in the room would be a great and much needed addition. The villa is located in a quiet residential street. There are dining options at the beginning of the street. But it is a distance away from the nearest public beaches and main restaurant area and we took Ubers to commute.

Nice place. A little bit pricy for what you get. It says that you have access to a continental breakfast for $ 150.00 MXP, but they asked $ 350.00 MXP for it which we declined.

La Villa du Golf à Cancun was great. The staff is so friendly, as are the cats. The room was comfortable and clean. The only regret is that I could not stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa du Golf. The room was comfortable and spacious. The pool area is beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. Most of all, the staff are really wonderful and kind. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, but they were more than happy to store a bottle of wine in the kitchen for us. They even insisted on giving us real wine glasses when we opened our bottle. An added bonus for me was that there are cats in the courtyard! It can be hard to find a good location restaurant within walking distance. But that is because of the inclusive hotels along the main *****. But the hotel will arrange a taxi for you to the more populated areas. But, the beautiful hotel is beyond expectations for a reall Cancun stay. We would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! It felt very much like staying in someone's home. They have staff there 24/7 to assist and a shared kitchen which anyone can use. We had a very relaxing and wonderful stay! The pool area is very laid back and there are a few cats which stay in the property that my son and I loved to visit with. The only thing I would suggest to them is a better free breakfast. All that was available was bread, cheese, fruit, coffee, juice and tea. You can purchase other breakfast options, however the portion of what we ordered was very small and we were hungry shortly afterwards. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend a stay here. It is one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in!

We had a very good stay at La Villa du Golf. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the property itself is very pretty (the courtyard/pool area looked lovely, though we didn't use the pool). It's located at the end of a long street that ends in a cul-de-sac; the road is very quiet and isolated but felt safe. We were able to walk from the hotel into the heart of the Cancun party/hotel zone to get dinner and explore a bit (though we took a taxi back). The staff were welcoming and friendly and called us a taxi in the morning when we were headed to the airport. If you are going to Cancun for partying, you may want to stay in one of the hotels that's a lot closer to the clubs so you don't have a long walk. We took a taxi back after a late dinner because the walk is 20+ minutes and passes through some dark/isolated areas (there is also a bus that runs back and forth to the hotel zone out on the main street). We only had one brief overnight in Cancun so this didn't matter for us but note that the hotel does not have beach access, if that's important to you during your visit! Thematically, the hotel feels a bit confused (the name suggests it might be French or golf themed, but the decor is very buddhist). Overall, a comfortable, clean, and quiet place to stay, with friendly staff!

Beautiful, cozy villa, great location walking distance from restaurants and bus stop, very welcoming and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

The property is beautiful and the people working there are excellent and friendly makes the time there so easy perfect for a vacation to relax Highly recommend I would stay here again The entrance is pretty and easy to see The backyard is very nice

If you don't like the big resort type hotels then this is a very good option. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the main road where there are some restuarants and shops as well as access to the main bus loop for the Hotel Zona. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast is very good. This is a quaint villa with old fashioned charm, so if you are looking for ultra modern facilities then this probably isn't for you. We found the property charming, convenietnly located and were delighted with our choice.
