This was our favourite hotel on our week long cycling tour of Lake Constance. We were met by a very friendly receptionist who offered us complimentary soft drinks and ice cream on arrival (the ice cream needed eating up!). She gave us helpful tips of what to see and where to eat. An equally lovely receptionist offered us complimentary bottked water on departure. A beautiful and grand hotel.

The warm and friendly reception staff insuring a smooth and hassle-free check-in process and some advice for town orientation. The room was comfortable, well equipped, and with a view of the city from the window. The breakfast was very nice. the location is in the heart of the old town.

Booked a standard room for two nights at Sorell Hotel Rüden in early April 2023. Charming boutique hotel in the city center of Schaffhausen. It is a short walk to/from the train station. I checked-in after 8:00 pm. Good check-in/out experience. The guest agent that handled my check-in was friendly and thorough. Great customer service skills! My room was cozy and clean. Neither a kettle nor coffee machine is a standard room amenity. Overall my stay at Sorell Hotel Rüden was decent. The reception desk closes at 10 pm.

Located close to central station - professional late check in and smooth check out professional - breakfast ok - facilities good but wlan coverage was very disappointing in the room - difficult to have online meeting - all together however pleasant stay

Very centrally located hotel in the old town, in the immediate vicinity of Schaffhausen train station. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Because the hotel is located in the old town, it does not have its own parking spaces. If you arrive by car, you should park in the public parking garage.

Requested here spontaneously and personally on a bike tour. I immediately received a single room. The breakfast was very good and extensive. There was no storage space for the racing bike. I was only able to lock it at the back entrance with my lock on the railing. However, access is not possible for Hotelfrede from 8 p.m. Very satisfied.
