Ulasan Onomo Hotel Cape Town – Inn on the Square

Great hotel location. It's close to the hop-on hop-off tourist bus stop. However, there's a market right in front of the hotel with many questionable individuals, which can sometimes be unsettling. Plus, the stalls are dismantled every evening and reassembled early in the morning, which creates a lot of noise. Overall, the breakfast was varied.

The hotel is in the city center. They have a notice asking to keep our valuables in their safe but they know how to open it. We lost 2000 USD in the hotel safe. Staff didn’t help or even respond to our calls. Remember never to keep your valuables in the hotel. It’s safe to keep with you as long as you’re vigilant. Sightseeing bus stations is closer. This is definitely not a place for a family

The location truly can’t be beat — everything is within walking distance, which made my stay super convenient. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the on-site restaurant was excellent. However, the rooms felt a bit dated, and the carpet could really use a deep clean. My allergies were triggered with a runny nose and itchy eyes, which made the stay a little less comfortable. The bedding was clean and the bed was super comfortable though, with a reliable AC/heater. It was unfortunately disappointing that there was no gym available for guests. Overall, I’d still recommend this hotel primarily for its unbeatable location and great service, but I hope they consider updating the rooms, giving the carpets a thorough cleaning, and adding a fitness facility in the future.

Location was convenient as it was close by the event we attended. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but the noise level was bad from surrounding bars. Recommending that 2 point plugs to be added to bedside tables to accommodate phone chargers or alternatively USB or C point adaptors installed on each side of the bed. A bar fridge would’ve been ideal too. Further than that, stay and breakfast was great

The hotel is right on the Green Market Square which is a fantastic place to do some souvenir shopping! The room was comfortable, but the bathroom was a little small.

I really enjoyed my stay at Onomo Hotel. The staff were amazing, especially Amanda in the restaurant — she was my favorite!

We loved our stay. The staff was friendly and Patrick is a gem! He is very helpful and checks up on people. We used the valet parking services and it was great with secure parking for our car. The room was nice and big and clean. The coffee station and amenities were well stocked. The breakfast was delicious!! The hotel is situated in an area with lots to see and do! We will definitely stay there again when we come to Cape Town! Thank you to everyone for making our stay wonderful.

Great Breakfast and convenient location, walkable to lots of attractions, friendly staff and green market square for souvenir shopping just opposite the hotel entrance

The hotel locates in convenient place and that's all they have. Few of reception staffs are not kind and the room is not comfortable and convenient for several days. It was so hot insdie of room and smelly. If you stay just one night, it maybe tolerable.
