The Tree House Boutique Hotel by the Living Journey Collection

We were checked-in upon our early evening arrival, shown what’s available in their lobby, including wine, & the breakfast area by Ms. Sheila. She offered us complimentary cake🍰 “made with love and passion”😊 then brought us to our room & showed us where things are as well as explained the bucket in the shower. Ms. Zukiswa, Ms. Melody & Ms. Amahle served us coffee, delicious hot chocolate, flaky croissants, “crumple” pancake, omelette for their complimentary breakfast. They also have cheeses, cold cuts, pastry, yogurt, cereals. Their rooms are clean & comfortable with bathrobes, slippers, coffee, tea, bottled water & a balcony with chairs. Our choices for lunch were nicely presented, tasted good, right-portioned & reasonably priced Our housekeeper changed our towels, made up & turned down our bed & placed towels & our slippers on both sides of our bed😊. Mr. Elton shared useful information about our safety in CT, transportation & concierge services that they provide & answered our questions. They are all guests’ comfort-oriented!

A ‘top drawer’ stay for 5 days in this well appointed and centrally located hotel. Melody, Sheila, Elton and the rest of the team couldn’t do enough for us. Whether it was Melody bringing us ice cold refreshing hand towels and fruit skewers after a hot day of sightseeing or Sheila welcoming and orienting us to the hotel and surrounding community , no request no matter how small was overlooked. Peter was always there to drive us, even on his days off and provided lots of useful information for getting around Cape Town. Elton, the manager has shaped a terrific team. This hotel certainly lives up to its 5 star rating!

We have traveled all around the world and rarely have we stayed in a more beautiful hotel as The Tree House. The team of staff are amazing. Elton the manager and his team, Melody, Zukiswa, Asisipho, Phomolo, STHE, Sandi, Peter, Ismail x2 go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. The breakfast has a wonderful choice and everything is delicious and fresh. Each afternoon there is coffee and the most delicious cake . Elton will chat with you and find out what you would like from your stay and where you would like to go. All our trips were arranged by him and first class service all the way. Just the two of us with a driver that went out of his way to show us all the sights. We did trips to se everything and enjoyed every one of them. My did this special trip for my husbands 80th birthday. When Elton heard about it he and the team prepared a surprise at breakfast with a gorgeous cake and a bottle of bubbly. Later all the team sang and danced with us making a real celebration. Restaurant meals were booked for us and a driver to take and pick you up. When we just went down to the waterfront to eat and stroll around a quick text to Peter the driver and we would be picked up and taken back to the hotel. The room was superb with a sea view. It was looked after by a lovely room maid who made sure we always had clean linen and towels and two bottles of fresh water every day. On the day we stayed and relaxed by the pool we were given cold towels and a plate of fresh fruit. We really can’t recommend this little gem of a hotel enough. We left a little piece of our heart there and will do our very best to go back. It is all down to Elton and his superb team. Five stars + for sure.
